@@Amick44 People may have said that about West but Mr Clutch could definitely use his left hand. His primary dribbling hand was his right, of course, but he could shoot his pull up J off either his right or left hand dribble and could drive to the hoop off either hand.

Pete would've won this def if he hadn't got his knee fucked up, I use all Pete's horse moves in my horse games and I haven't lost since haha I practiced all his moves to like the Rochocet and Space throw, etc and I haven't lost a game at my court in like 2-3 months now. Pete Maravich is THE BEST basketball player ever for inspiring me to go after my dreams, I was mad fun of allot for not being good at basketball I was told to quit, I cried, bullied but then after doing all this drills for 1-2 months the feel for the ball slowly became one with me. He's the best around, nothing's gonna ever take him down hahaha
I'm a big fan of Pete's as well. And I am glad you did this with the great Randy Smith. I always felt Pete and Randy were the best all around guards in the mid to late 70's.

As far as I know, these were aired at halftime of NBA games. This one comes from a broadcast of the Jazz-Blazers game played on January 8, 1978. Also, they used to be available on nba.com.
Smith was electric on offense.Shooting, speed, and athletic ability
Randy Smith, one of the fastest players in NBA history. Almost never used his left hand in a game.
People have said that about Jerry West and John Stockton as well. Like Randy, they didn't really need it.

He was a pro-level soccer player before he ever played in the NBA...explains his speed. The original 1-man fast break...
Larry Kenon is still an NBA record holder!
Yes! Larry Kenon 11 steals in one game! Dr. K!
Special K was his nickname, but he and The Doctah played together on the Nets...just imagine.
Randy Passed away wayyyyy too Young 60 from Heart Attack😣
This is the most 70s thing ever
Finally not Pete doing the same shots
Opening music is funny af!
I knew when Randy made that last shot he was over. Surprised Larry kept at bay for so long.
Gratitude

Well, it was gonna be Pete and Paul (Westphal). Westy had a lot of stuff in his bag, too. Close, likely.
That's the last season of the Buffalo Braves before moving to San Diego to became the Clippers during the season.
Loved Randy Smith and Kenon!! Randy Smith super speed!! Many more points if 3 pointer

'The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh' and 'Fast Break' .... 70's "B" basketball movies, hence the music.
I can't tell if the guys were ready lanky in the 70s of the uniforms were too short
I like both players but they didn't show much creativity. As ABA Dunk Contest participant I wonder why Special K didn't try one of those
Dunks weren't allowed in HORSE.
RIGHT OUT OF BUFFALO STATE!
And could you tell me where you find all these old clips? I can't find them anywhere online besides a few on UA-cam?

ik this isn't a Pete game but could you try and find the Kevin Grevely one? I really wanna see it
IF it's on one of my old hard drives, and IF I manage to get it working again...

Mendy would've made a great Count Dracula.
Too bad the refs fouled out Kenon vs UCLA.
I'll do a reverse dunk... nobody in the 70's could dunk...and win the whole thing
Yeah nobody could dunk. Except for literally everybody. Do your research.
