You are correct, but that's not the only thing wrong with this point. Granted, at this point, the game has only been released for a few days now. But saying you can bring 8 pokemon is wrong. You start with your original three, regardless of size. And then, you can go to recruit 5 other Pokemon, be they enemies you fought, or someone you gave an apple to. It can only go up to eight though. So yeah, you're only going to steamroll if you happen to get that many recruits.

One small thing that the original had that the new one doesn’t, if you go to visit one of your team members, you can actually go inside their rescue camps which was kinda neat, in DX you only get to see the artwork for the camp (which is still cool) a small detail but one I enjoyed nonetheless.

Change 16, moves. Several moves have been changed from how they worked in the original games and newer moves have been added making the move pool much larger than it was before.
That’s a good thing. Some moves that are strong in the main series were absolute jokes in the first two PMD games, particularly Hyper Beam. The PSMD version is exactly what Hyper Beam should be like.

I will say I actually hate that manual saving FORCES you to go back to main menu. it actually makes some aspects of the game more difficult than they need to be say I want to save at the midway point of a dungeon (the room with the khangaskan statue) I need to go to the menu, then go back in and continue, but as soon as an autosave spot is hit, that manual save is GONE. you literally CANNOT for example, save before a boss just to see if you're close to being able to handle it, no, the game will save midaway through the bossfight so you cant go back and fix potential misclicks you may have made
Honestly I loved it at first, but then towards the end of the demo I was getting a headache at all the little details constantly moving around, I'm still going to get it because I loved the originals and want to support chunsoft, but I'm definitely not going to be able to play it hours on end like the original.
I remember this game from when i had a Gameboy i was a totadile and my partner was a Torchic together we kicked ass and i still have the cartridge but nothing to actually play it on
While the Automode and the new Button A function make grinding more comfortable, I personally am against it. Leaving it to the AI to decide things for your leader skips crucial and strategic thinking, especially when you’re about to encounter traps and monster houses. Granted, you can now locate items to tip you off about those annoying monster houses, but I feel like if I don’t do it myself, something that will make me or my partners faint. So, I recommend to don’t use frequently auto play in mid to late dungeons. They so danged unpredictable.
The shiny pokemon is true. I found a shiny Ampharos during a multi mission. I was so salty because it’s one of the tough Pokemon, and I was very under leveled with my Scyther with a Squad power and False Swipe move.
The only new pokemon in the game are mons which got new evos (eevee got glaceon leafeon sylveon) and riolu and lucario. Groudon has a mechanic almost like dark matter. Minus the fugitive arc (*spoilers*) and sky tower pokemon can join you (wether or not you own their area) Teams of 8 are a thing (but i think a team of 3 is max going in) Pokemon portraits are a thing for everyone (and a few shinies really shocked Charizard didn't get that badass black shiny in game) Just a few things
You can't actually turn off the auto-picker, at least not without tinkering with the selectable moves, which will make it so that whenever that pokemon makes an attack, it will *always* be the basic attack.
That shit, being unable to hold A and B to make your HP recover fast, being unable to switch spots with your ally, removing IQ's and other small shit like that made this game unplayable for me. Mystery dungeon is literally my first ever game I played and as a kid who didn't even know English I loved playing Red Rescue team so much on my Gameboy. When I heard of these remakes I was so hyped and happy, but all of that was drowned away by these little stupid things they removed and added. I really don't understand why the fuck they would do this. I hate when companies remake a game and do dumb shit like this.

You can switch spots with your ally’s by holding B and walking into your friends. in the Pause Menu theirs menu where you can change you teams ai. Hope I could help :)
Im sad that they removed the system that you could change your leader pokemon in the village ... like we dont have the choice to have our friend following us in the village and we can just play with our main pokemon .... in the old one we could go in the village with rayquaza and other ! ..... not anymore T-T
They also removed the ability to walk around in the friend areas(now friend camps). It is now a menu where you interact with the Pokemon living in that camp.
I mean friend rescue wasn't new to the whole series, you could technically do it in the original but had to have the opposite game from what you were playing (like if you had BRT, you had to use RRT and vice versa)
I'm honestly amazed by the developers' laziness, mostly they just 'upgraded' and 'actualized' some features that must have been a headache for some testers. I mean, It's the same, just for the nintendo switch. The characters move stiffly when that console can bring them to life and yet they still look like a less pixelated version of the originals. This is such an obvious money grab without even trying to put more into it that wasn't already there
When you compare this game to the Spyro and Crash remakes, this definitely falls flat. Especially since this game is a one for one remake and asking for 50% more money than the original, while the Crash and Spyro remakes are only $40 each.

Well, my problem for today is that I can't download that game because I have to create a Nintendo Account, and it has 2GB+, I wanted to play because its better than the old one but can't do it.
3, 4... umm... ok... these are somewhat not differences, demo and hey there were 2 games now its only 1... 7, Autosave? what? there was specific savepoints in original, in dungeons there were only quicksave feature, having proper saves in dungeons dosnt sound like a good idea if that is what you meant 9, dosnt even mention normal attacks that are not moves? why wait till 15 by mentioning it? kinda fits better here 11, incorrect original party size was 4, you, partner, and 2 teammembers, in post game you could choose to go in solo 12, in original you could have others save you too This is a horrible list with alot of errors like you dont even know what you talk about, Could have included extended story parts, like when diglet shows up everywhere, might be only place it will be, who knows different dungeon generation, on maps in trailers you can see rooms not being created as rectangles but have walls with carved out spots

No. You still only get to bring a team of 3. You'll just be able to recruite up to five per dungeon.
It’s just 8 max on your team while in a dungeon. If you go in solo you can recruit up to 7.

The team rescue feature was actually from PMD Explorers of Time/Space/Sky, not PSMD

The damage scaling is so bad I used flame burst on a fortress and it didn’t die, moves literally so like half of what they should

3, 4... umm... ok... these are somewhat not differences, demo and hey there were 2 games now its only 1...
7, Autosave? what? there was specific savepoints in original, in dungeons there were only quicksave feature, having proper saves in dungeons dosnt sound like a good idea if that is what you meant
9, dosnt even mention normal attacks that are not moves? why wait till 15 by mentioning it? kinda fits better here
11, incorrect original party size was 4, you, partner, and 2 teammembers, in post game you could choose to go in solo
12, in original you could have others save you too
This is a horrible list with alot of errors like you dont even know what you talk about,
Could have included extended story parts, like when diglet shows up everywhere, might be only place it will be, who knows
different dungeon generation, on maps in trailers you can see rooms not being created as rectangles but have walls with carved out spots
