They are so much better than stock turfs. I want a new mower just so I can cut the tires as soon as I get it home ... Thanks for watching the old stuff!!!
I have an amphibious go-cart video coming out in the morning and today I was thinking of making the dually dually amphibious. I will let you know on that and thanks for watching.
The problem with that is that I can let air in or out of the inner rear tires yet. I was also scared I was going to flip and land my back on those rocks... Thanks for watching and for the tip.
Cheap is a way of life for me. All I have bought for this is a LED light bar, some spray paint, some nuts and bolts, a pulley, and a belt. Thanks for watching.
The last thing I did was get caught on a root and I did bend the steering. That will be in the next update. It is just a piece of flat bar, I need to replace it with angle iron. Thanks for watching.
I need paddle tires for the mower and for the amphibious go-cart. The go-cart video comes out in the morning, I hope to hear from you again. Thanks for watching.
I will have to investigate and get back to you. If I forget to, please remind me. I guess I could just include that in the video when I do the locker. Thanks for watching.
I bet you get some serious WTF????? looks when you show up at a trail head with the dually dually. I think it is great that you build stuff you enjoy, think outside the box and don't care what others say about it. Not sure if you put a winch on it yet or not but one would help get you out of some of those spots. Keep on Muddin.
chud327 this is true. You could make a straight pipe that'll go clear behind you, still if anyone is behind you they'll end up with the same problem. But on your own you should be fine since the sound will be directed behind you. Ali the travel of the straight pipe you could also have wide to thin to wide to thin for your piping which will kill some sound with less backpressure.
I had a 3/4 inch piece of EMT straight pipe coming out of the back, but when I lifted the front, it hung down way too low. I will try to get something else soon. Thanks for the reply.
Please no welding on powdered metal gears it will not hold use a doc locker instead the powdered metal gears are no good to weld as they'll just break or crumble
I am over in Callahan and I am dying to get back to the river for more videos. Are you thinking about this Saturday? What kind of mower do you have? Do you have videos of it?
I wish I could say the same thing. I am going to weld mine, but some say that the gears will just break. It will be an experiment for me. Thanks for the reply.
Hey I️ have another channel st George mud mowers we need to ride one day HMU on Facebook Dawsen ring we’re getting all of our builds back up and running better than ever we’d be glad to ride with you one day boss man we live up the road from you lol
Sweet, I will look you up on Facebook. Maybe we can plan a Christmas break run at the river. I saw your mowers in the yard on the way to St. George, but didn't see anyone in the yard... Thanks for getting back with me.
U need to take them double tires off the frunt. That's the stupidest thing I ever seen u want the frunt to cut threw everything. Change it an u will see the difference u would t be getting stuck everywhere
The duals in the front add flotation (a same size mud tire is wider than an all terrain tire aka street tire providing more flotation)... however what is needed is a larger tire diameter which makes the tire run onto obstacles easier... also you may have noticed when the suspension articulated to the limits it started spinning the low side drive tire indicating a need for more rear weight to keep the drives more in contact with the ground (remember you want to hang a front tire not a rear tire)... and with duals you want an open diff as to prevent busting the aluminum transaxle case.
I hear arguments for both, but I like the way it looks and wider makes sense to me. I can't wait to lock my rear end, but like you say, it probably will not last long. Thanks for watching and for your reply.
I was pointing out that it is only a cast aluminum case which is porous and weak due to its metallurgical limitations if you have your mind set on locking it check out doc sprockets doc locker he uses a stronger through keyed shaft setup that reduces the strains on the transaxle so it should be able to both handle locking it and the duals... and the point about tire dia. Being more effective than width is the skateboard wheel vs bicycle tire effect (for example a crack in the sidewalk will stop a skateboard wheel yet a bicycle tire will roll right over it) and a wider tire increases floatation this is actually why off road vehicle tires get both taller and wider to get the best effects of both however the sacrifice is more power being needed to spin the tires and/or lower gearing being used to increase mechanical advantage to spin the tires. Sorry for the long response but I want you to be as informed as possible when you finally make any changes also at about 2:50 if you watch every time you move the weight backwards toward the drives it starts to move proving your tractor is too light on the drives and needs more weight on the rear (good rule of thumb if while you are off the mower with one tire jacked up past the articulation limit(one tire hanging in da air) if you place a piece of cardboard under the jacked side drive tire you should not be able to pull the cardboard out by hand without lifting on the machine)
You make a bunch of great points! I have see the Doc / keyed shafted locker video, that is a great idea. Sidewalk cracks are yet another reason I don't ride skateboards. My dune buggy has good traction because of the weight of the engine in the back... Thanks for the reply and wordy is good.
I am not educated on how to tell which one I have, but if you go watch my pulley sway video, maybe you can tell me what kind it is. Thanks for watching and for all the comments!
chud327 put the model Number that's on the transmission in the dubble do in the comments section that's the easy way one problem i see potential belt slippage when in the mud
Great video looks like a lot of fun
It was a blast, can't wait to do it again. Thanks for watching.
Love it Love it awesome video!!
Thanks! Thanks!!
Nice work Chud. It’s good to see you teaching the young fella how to turn the tires- keep em spinnin.
I think he was enjoying himself. Thanks for watching.
looks like you finally found the limit of that open diff. time for a locker video! Great video as always!
I have been needing a locker for a while now, hopefully I can get to that soon. Thanks for watching.
I like the cut turf tires.
They are so much better than stock turfs. I want a new mower just so I can cut the tires as soon as I get it home ... Thanks for watching the old stuff!!!
Looks like fun!
Finaly i get to see it great job
You are welcome and thanks for watching.
You've got to lock that diff. lol
I am planning to, thanks for watching.
Hey Chud,. I am ready to see some swing down pontoons! Maybe some hydrofoils! Keep up the progress! Looks great!
I have an amphibious go-cart video coming out in the morning and today I was thinking of making the dually dually amphibious. I will let you know on that and thanks for watching.
I love the videos
Thank you so much and thanks for watching.
no problem
When you are trying to climb shit with it, let out some air in the tires. More grip
The problem with that is that I can let air in or out of the inner rear tires yet. I was also scared I was going to flip and land my back on those rocks... Thanks for watching and for the tip.
nice video
Thank you so much and thanks for watching.
Man i love the look of that tractor! Makes me want to build one! Im building a trail rig now,"Lazyboy"
Thanks for watching and you go a sub out of me.
shows that you can have a lot of fun without spending thousands, looks like a good day.
Cheap is a way of life for me. All I have bought for this is a LED light bar, some spray paint, some nuts and bolts, a pulley, and a belt. Thanks for watching.
At 6:20 looks like your tie rod was either bent or seriously flexing. I'd try some steering stops if I were you.
The last thing I did was get caught on a root and I did bend the steering. That will be in the next update. It is just a piece of flat bar, I need to replace it with angle iron. Thanks for watching.
Looks like you had a good time!
We had a great time, thanks for watching.
What pulley size are you running on the Dually Dually?
The front is stock and the back is a 3 inch. I have a video of the pulley swap if you are interested. Thanks for watching.
Gotta get ya some paddles outside them there tires lol 😂
I need paddle tires for the mower and for the amphibious go-cart. The go-cart video comes out in the morning, I hope to hear from you again. Thanks for watching.
chud327 sweet! Awesome as always!
Wow and thanks for the reply.
chud327 no problem!
You should weld that rear diff bro
It is on my list, I just haven't got there yet. Thanks for watching.
i love you man
Thanks and thanks for watching.
Why don’t you lock your differential I bet after you that, it will truly be a Beast!
I am planning a lock, but haven't got to it yet. Thanks for watching.
hell yea man! awesome video. time to really upgrade those tires aint it? those cut ones do pretty well still though
I have been looking at tractor tires, but they don't give them away and I would need 4 of them... Thanks for watching.
i know what you mean. i would like to get some for my garden tractors just to make them look good but they cost a little to much
I sometimes see some on craigslist, but often they are too high too or eat with dry rot... Thanks for the reply.
Yes you found some lol
You NEED to lock the diff!!!!
I know and I will try to get to that real soon! Thanks for watching.
What kind of trans is in the dually dually
I will have to investigate and get back to you. If I forget to, please remind me. I guess I could just include that in the video when I do the locker. Thanks for watching.
U should straight pipe your Polan pro of the side
I really need to do something with the exhaust. Thanks for watching.
I would lock the diff
wish i could ride there
Locking the rear is on my list and I will try to get to it soon, thanks for watching.
I use my jd 212 for mudin with only duels on the back does fine
Sweet, do you have any videos of it on here. Thanks for watching.
You need good old diff lock
I know and I am planning to as soon as I have the time. Thanks for watching.
Lock the differential
Soon, man, soon... thanks for watching.
time to lock rear diff.
IKR, thanks for watching.

Not sure if you put a winch on it yet or not but one would help get you out of some of those spots. Keep on Muddin.
There was only one other guy there and he thought it was cool. I was really needing that winch... Thanks for watching.
Time for a locked trans
IKR, it is on my list, but I haven't go to it yet. Thanks for watching.
put snow blower wheels on i, it will cut through mud (with low tire pressure) much better (in my opinion)
I am in Florida, I don't know if I can find snow blower wheels. Thanks for watching.
Big fan, and check out this website www.tractorsupply.com/?cm_sp=Header_Nav-_-Links-_-Logo
Sweet, I will check it out, I also found some on Amazon. Thanks for the reply.
You should take the front duels of they get you stuck esyer
I may take them off, we will see. Thanks for watching.
Take the muffler off there, it’s too quiet, and you’ll get more power
More power and more ear damage. I am trying to come up with some type of exhaust system. Thanks for watching.

Get some better tires and weld the diff and you will be going throw everything
That is some of my long term goals, I will keep you updated. Thanks for watching.
Please no welding on powdered metal gears it will not hold use a doc locker instead the powdered metal gears are no good to weld as they'll just break or crumble
I need to go back an watch his videos again before I do anything.
Hey man where you live I have a mower I live in St George near the river we should go riding
I am over in Callahan and I am dying to get back to the river for more videos. Are you thinking about this Saturday? What kind of mower do you have? Do you have videos of it?
chud327 I have a Sears gt 18 on 36 inch swampers I have pics of it on Instagram and idk about Saturday I've got to see what I am doing
That sound sweet! I need a video of that! Unfortunately, I am not on Instagram...
chud327 oh okay
I've got to get it running again but we have to get together
Now to just weld the diff
IKR, believe me, it is on my list. Thanks for watching.
On my sears i dont even need to weld anything, just flip some gears and its locked
I wish I could say the same thing. I am going to weld mine, but some say that the gears will just break. It will be an experiment for me. Thanks for the reply.
I had a ST/10 but i sold it, now getting a SS/16, 18 hp engine swap for $300
I made new video chud
Need to make it 4wd
I am still brainstorming that, thanks for watching.
