That guy did a great job for Lowes! Give that man a raise!
nice to see how well trained and knowledgeable the delivery men are. speaks well for Lowes
They're not all that way LOL. It depends on the area you live. Where I live they hire idiots so they can pay minimum wage, part-time hours, no benefits, etc....doesn't help that Idaho is a right to work state.
I OWN This exact mower and learned something just by listening to this Lowe's Guy! THAT is AWESOME Service! I too bought mine at Lowe's but I didn't really request anything from my guy delivering it either.. But this guy is exactly what you would want working in your store.. That is a fact! Great video and shines a great light at least at one person and maybe Lowe's Location..
As someone who just bought this mower from Lowe's and didn't get the rundown on the basic operation, thanks for posting this video!
I just bought the display model at my local Lowe’s brand new for $905.82 including taxes picked up. Not a demo model but display model. They offered free delivery but I just went and picked it up. I thought that was a really good deal. I’m happy with it so far.
Wow, that guy needs to be a manager or running his own shop. Amazing knowledge and service
Wish all the Lowe’s guys were as helpful as that dude!
Thank you soooooo much for making this video, had called lower a few minutes ago and they recommended this model for Hilly terain. This review is really helpful!
+Chester A Bayko I have mowed my yard twice with it now and it performs like a charm. There are many little hills in my yard and it rides really well. It has a great turn radius too. I'll be posting another video soon to show how it does.
Very good video. I am thinking of purchasing the Super Bronco 50XP. Thanks
Man I would be so excited to get one of these. I'd be mowing every day lol.
I'm shopping around so thanks for the review and the excellent "how too" from the Lowes fellas.
I have about 20 hours on mine so far - and zero problems. It's very stout. I weigh 320, and it carts me around on fairly hilly ground just fine.
Tony Lee Glenn ..Thanks, man! I got 11yrs out of my Cub Cadet but that was me mowing 3 acres every weekend in the blazing hot Tx sun. You only have few extra pounds over me, so it must be pretty durable for guys like us to ride them..
I know this is an older video but the info is relevant to all mowers... One thing he didnt mention about the deck wash out port is that you need be on level ground, preferably concrete and fully lower the deck... this way the water gets agitated and knocks out the clippings. If the deck is raised the water will just be pushed out of the sides before it can loosen up the clippings.
Wow what amazing service.
Excellent video, thank you. I’m actually looking into buying one myself.
THAT MOTOR IS MASSIVE
Cool machine Tony, I noticed the mower in your garage but hadn't seen your video. I would have mentioned it lol. Hope you get many years of work from it. But, you do know you'll not be getting the health benefits that you had with the pushing....
cool TRactor!!!
Thanks just received my 46 fab deck. Any vid on how to level the deck properly. Best vid on this model 🙏
I need to know how to put my belt back on without damaging my Troy built bronco 50xp .. the belt come off
I just bought this mower last month, can you tell me which hole on the front near the roller the deck lift bar goes it high or low?
Mine is 2 years old. Clears 6 acres, fast. Zero problems.
Hi!! We just bought our first rider yesterday!! I love the lowes guy showing the operation, but for a first timer can you show how you operate it? I was able to park in garage...haha, but that's all so far
Can't figure out what kinds of engine oil to use on mine.
I'm thinking of getting one,to cut 2 acres on a slope my industrial tractor can't get to ,any reviews good or bad , thanks
Me gusta ese tractor.. 👌🏻
I have the Craftsman T240 paid $2,300 tax not included love it it's a cross between a Lawn/Garden tractor according to a craftsman Rep built very well to last years has the Kohler KT725 22 horsepower 725cc V Twin Engine 3 year unlimited hours warranty and the warranty covers commercial use also
I just got the same mower but can't figure out how to turn the lights off???
Bought mine in 2017. Best money I ever spent. But Lowe's dumped and ran when they delivered mine.
I have one. Does anyone know if the lights are supposed to shut off because mine don't.
Damn, his customer service was top tier. We don't get that type of service here in the Washington, DC area. I had a Troy Bilt 46in deck Super Bronco. The unit worked fine except the deck would always get out out level. Do you have the bagging unit for your Xp, looks like a nice machine.
Ousama Abdu hey how do you put fluid in the transmission. My super bronco want go forward or backward. My mower is 54inch cut
@@janbanks2087
What's going on my man
Honestly, I only had it for a few months then sold it so I have no idea how to change the transmission fluid on the unit.
@@janbanks2087 Good question i still have my 2007 42" deck Troybuilt Superbronco 19.5 hp Kohler tractor model and mines just whines when in forward and in reverse, just had it service, overhead valve cover gasket, and belts, and a new belt pulley, but it's still eating belts, as for the whining noise i really don't have a problem with that because it still pulls fine very hard and strong in both gears and still very torquey, lil tractor is amazing it's been whining for the past 2.5 years mechanic says "your transmissions about to go" i said where to the house, he said it's no good i laughed at him as he explained and contradicted himself, because in the end he said simply put "your transmissions out of oil," then i asked him do you have an transmission out back in his storage he said yeah i think i can replace it lol,..... like the old saying goes i'll drive it til the wheels fall off.
I was watching this and thinking I knew this man and both of ya'll accent sounded so similar. Then he said Big Daddy, and East west haha Morganton myself.
Looks very similar to my Cub Cadet
500 hour air filter where i get one ?
From used to brand new … Since you were moving up in the world, I figured that the zero turn mowers would be more appealing---but that thing looks like fun.
I have this same mower and it eats tall grass like a billy goat on steroids!!! Towards the end of the first cutting season my reverse slowed to a snails pace. Probably belt slippage or some sort of adjustment needed? It's winter now, I'll check it out before the first cut.
What do you recommend for a new mower for about 1 acre of grass with a 15-20% grade slopes? The entire yard isn't a slope but one hill mainly.
Not sure Brent. My yard has a lot of hills - probably in that slope range, but I tend to go up and down on those areas versus sideways. This mower works great for me, but there are probably others that have a wider wheelbase. Let's hope some other viewers can provide some input. TLG
You go my brother!!!! I bought my JOHN DEERE 110(?)LOL I THINK THAT'S right.... Have you tried any of the Harley Benton guitars yet? I own a LP type and a T-type and a Bass... I LOVE THEM!!!!!!!!! THEY ARE AWESOME.. NOW I'm from ALABAMA, born in Columbus Ga.raised in ALABAMA, 20 miles south of AUBURN!! WAR EAGLE!! So you know I gotta be speaking the truth!!! Love your vids brother
Thanks for the comments Joseph. I have a lot of folks ask me about the Harley Bentons. I've not bought one yet, but am planning to get one just so I can review against the Oscar Schmidts. Great to have a viewer from Bama. I'll check out your videos.
Tony Lee Glenn lol I ordered the purple burst Oscar last night $199.00 shipped. Couldn't pass it up. The gold top was $184. But I have a Peavey. SC-2 gold top. Plus I think the Purple one is Sick!!! I also love the Tiger burst with the Dragon inlay. Yours is Sweet!! Ok Bless you brother!!!
I hate all those bad seats they put on mowers .They are slippery to seat on and boy do they get hot in the sun .
Thank's for sharing this, I noticed the date posted and have to ask How is the Troy Built doing for longevity and do you recommend this mower?
I am looking for a replacement for my Stanley which has lasted over 14 years and now has a cracked frame. Thank You Again 😀👍
So far the only problem I've had is that I've thrown the belt once. Other than that it's still going strong and is a pleasure to mow with!
Are you still planning to do a follow-up review after using the mower? I 'm considering buying this mower.
I did one already just showing the results. It's on the channel. I've mowed with it 5 times now and it's awesome.
I think this is very similar to the craftsman pro series, they are both made by myself. And the set ups and controls are identical. But idk it the transmission is as durable as the craftsman. And it seems like the troybilt has different sized decks. My pro series has a 24h Koehler. 46in it has the bumper. Electric pro, cruise. But has the turn right extreme.
They're built by MTD, so yes they're going to all look the same, just different paint and badge choices.
William Todd that's not quite what I said, again, transmission durability, some have power steering, and again, craftsman is he only "badge" to offer the turn right extreme
I read what you said, I was just saying they're all going to look the same because they're all built by 1 manufacturer (MTD). They have slight differences depending on the model, you'll get different features, different turning radius they all have their own "Brand" names for that tight turning radius. Many parts are shared throughout the lines and hopefully they eventually learn this is a terrible idea and divide these back up to their proper brands and start building quality products again because my 2010 Craftsman YT4000 is a pile of junk.
Yeah those "YT" models are made by AYP like the huqvarnas. I just sold mine. You can tell by the chute on the side. They tend to put the deck size on it. I got rid of my YT3500 because the deck was way off set. The wheels were constantly rolling on the ground where the other side was fine. Even all the way up. It wasn't adjustable
Hopefully they didn't give you a warped tire. I bought my 46XP Super Bronco less than 2 months ago and the front right wheel is warped.
@tonyleeglenn How's the Troy - Bilt holding up ? I just bought one from MTDparts.com on closeout, a leftover 17 model, but with the 54 deck. It was so good of a deal i couldn't pass it up.
can't wait to get it and see how it does, probably a little overkill for me @ 54", but it was a steal a $1000 for a brand new 25HP mower with the 54" fab deck.
Still going strong with zero problems except that the belt broke this year and I had to have it replaced. Spent about 65 bucks having a local guy put one on so I didn't have to mess with it. It's a great mowing machine. You'll love it.
Do you still have this mower, I can't find the exact fit for a mulching kit. Been looking for a while but they don't make these anymore already.........
Search P/N 19A30016OEM. Bought one and use it exclusively. A little bit of grass blows by at the seams, but duct tape handles that. Comes with blades, too.
I bought this same tractor from Lowes in August of 2016. Mower has never run correctly. I've had it in to Troybilt service centers on 3 separate occasions and the only thing they have done to it is put a new fuel cap on it. Still runs terrible. My symptom is the mower will stumble and die about 5 +/- 2 mins after the blades are engaged by the electric PTO. I expressed extreme displeasure with 4 different Troybilt tech service reps on the phone today about my troubles with the mower and still no resolution. Their last chance to resolve is in the mail to me now in the form of a new seat sensor. If this does not fix the issue I will be aggressively attempting to either get a new mower or a refund for the piece of junk I have now. It does appear to be a good deal and great looking mower but Troybilt's lack of attention to "after the purchase" support and failure to back up their product have me seriously angry about the $1900+ I am out on this mower. It has less than 20 hours on it and will not mow for more than 5 mins consecutively without dying. Hope you have better luck with yours my friend, I will not recommend to any one.
My be to late but sounds like a fuel problem when you change the fuel filter it get air locked
Ron Owens we had the exact same problem. We had it in the shop for 3 or 4 months without any solution. They replaced many parts and nothing worked. Just by accident my husband found someone else with the same problem that claimed loosening the gas cap fixed their problem. We decided to try it and IT WORKED!! It runs great as long as you keep the cap loose. I hope this helps your problem too!
So you "Vented" the cap. You nailed the problem. The caps normally have a tiny hole formed in them to let air in as fuel is used.
I own this troy built and its been great ..... Starts up every time , runs strong .... The 1 issue many have had is the fuel cap ...if you just slightly loosen fuel cap while its running it will run great ... Feels well made and cuts tall grass easily
Lowes in AZ doesn’t carry Troy built commonly. Tractor Supply carries them at better prices FYI
How change bilt
Super bronco my ass!!! That is the XT1 from CUB CADET only painted in black...
your Lowes is better than my Lowes
Transmission in these is undersized, it's the same one found in smaller tractors. If you just mow on a flat lawn you'll be okay but steep hills and/or towing things will lead to failure eventually. *edit* I meant to say prematurely, they'll all fail eventually.
I believe it's the Tuff Torq K46. I actually take back my statement at bit. Hard to tell in the video what size wheels are on the rear but they look like 22" and the K46 is rated for 20" wheels max. These slightly bigger tractors would benefit from an up-rated transmission. The big wheels plus heavier weight means extra stress on the trans. Weird thing is that Troy Bilt's website for this particular model shows smaller 20" wheels, so maybe they got the idea and changed it for 2018.
These manufacturers are ridiculous. Putting such a light transmission in tractors is pathetic.
Does it have plastic internal parts in the engine?
Not to my knowledge. I’ve had it for a good while now and absolutely no problems so far.
You don't need enthenail free gasoline, just don't let your mower sit with has in it for long time without starting it
Now that it is 2019. Do you still have it? Do you still like it?
Yes so far so good. I'm in my third season with it and it's still doing a great job on my yard. It's also much to its credit that it can haul my 300-pound body around.
Tony Lee Glenn Are there any slopes or hills on your property? I may buy the same unit boat am worried about the slopes on my yard.
If you change the oil, you change the filter. Every time.
Is that Tiger Woods
Look at tiger woods!!!
An MTD Tractor. 2 grand. You got a good deal....
Now that's a garden tractor! Your not constricted to only mowing. You can put torque to the ground with that
andon air it has a K46 hydro tranny, it is not a garden tractor at all. A nice mower for sure, but thats all it is.
Should have gave this guy at least a 20$ tip
U really dont need ethnol free has I have la 125 12 years old no issues with anything and a 2020 e130 I just put stabil 360 in it every fill up and at the end of the season I run it dry never a issue with ethnol even with weedeaters and other small engins and if u waunt use full synthetic 5w30 just waunted to give u my opinion
Bbb I
This gentleman has amazing customer skills. I hope Lowe’s know what they have in this young man. He is worth his weight in gold. Thank you for your knowledge and honesty.
Excellent advice about the ethanol free gas. If you can't get ethanol free gas, use stabilizer (the red Sta-Bil is fine) and just run the engine at least once a month to keep the gas in the carburetor fresh. I haven't had issues since I started doing that.
