Hair Bow Box 2.0

This is my second box I have made for hair bows, 2 granddaughters calls for 2 bow boxes. 😊 It was relatively simple to accomplish, I let the paint and fabric do most of the work for me. I think it turned out super cute!!! I can’t wait to give it away! 😊
Items needed for the project:
• Chipboard box
• Paint and paint brushes
• Fabric
• Pencil to mark the cut line on the fabric
• Scissors
• Cording
• Mod Podge
• Glue
• E6000
• Tape measure
• Something to cover your work surface
• Decorative ribbon for the border
• Varnish
Directions:
• Gather all materials
• Paint the base color - allow to dry thoroughly
• Faux paint the inside - allow to dry thoroughly
• Cut the fabric
• Using E6000 attach fabric to top edge of the box
• Using ModPodge attach fabric to the sides - spread with a clean, dry paint brush to work all air bubbles out - allow to dry thoroughly
• Using ModPodge attach fabric to the lid of the box - spread with a clean, dry paint brush to work all air bubbles out - allow to dry thoroughly
• Using E6000 attach the ribbon to the edge of the lid of the box - allow to dry thoroughly
• Using ModPodge attach fabric to the bottom of the box - spread with a clean, dry paint brush to work all air bubbles out - allow to dry thoroughly
• Using E6000 attach the ribbon to the edge of the body of the box - allow to dry thoroughly
• Using glue attach the cording box lid along the edge of the ribbon - allow to dry thoroughly
• Apply multiple coats of varnish on all sides of box and lid - allow to dry thoroughly between coats
