XIOMI M365 BMS REPLACEMENT | HOW TO REPLACE BMS ON M365 ELECTRIC SCOOTER

My Xiaomi M365 is more than 3 years old and used for almost 5000 km ride. I saved time and money when I used it daily to get to work, with that said, I already got my money’s worth.
Now because of the pandemic, I started to work from home, I seldom use my scooter and one day it died on me while I was on my way to run an errand.
I checked the batteries and they are all fine. No faulty or broken wires. I suspected the BMS could be the culprit.
I bought this BMS kit online for $20 or 900 pesos. I replaced it I got it working again. It’s not an easy process specially if you don’t have experience in soldering and basic circuit knowledge. You can end up burning your house or hurt your self in the process.
Here’s what I did:
After I removed the battery (see • Xiaomi m365 Electric K... on how to safely remove the battery) I disconnected the wires and disassembled the BMS. If you are going to do the same process, be careful not to short the red and black wires.
There’s a glue to secure the BMS, make sure to remove that first and unlock the BMS by pushing it from underneath. Disconnect the soft board and cut the red and black wires from the battery. Again, be careful not to short these two wires.
Cut these wires with XT30 connectors and re-solder them to the new board. Take note of the wire placements as illustrated in the diagram.
Partially insert the new BMS just enough space to solder the wires from the battery. Reconnect the soft board and you should see the BMS blinking in blue if it’s successful. Push to fit the BMS to lock.
Reconnect the wires to the controller and the scooter comes back to life.

I have an old first version m365. I changed the bms and tried turning the scooter on. It worked for 2 minutes and then stopped. Now it turns on and immediately off. And on the bms it goes from constant blue flashing to the red led1, any idea?
So my problem is, i reset bms then the scooter normally turn on and drives..then when i shut it down..and leave it for lets say 5 hours it wont turn on again.. is it the bms? It happens after it wet due to heavily rain..

@@leehunt7264 thanks for feedback 👍...i have replaced the bms board, bridge bar, and flat cable ( buy on Amazon 49 Euros), 3 day ago, and now all work well👍

Sir i have m365pro 3 cells po very low ng voltage how to know if the bms is the culprit?
looks like a battery issue boss. have it rebalanced first then then use it until battery runs out then charge it again. if hindi na sumasabay ang 3 cells baka need mo ma palitan yung cells na yun.
