    • @rmharding5263
      @rmharding5263 2 роки тому +1

      It's not in the government's interest to implement such justice. Get someone on the hook to pay whenever possible. The problem with it not being mandatory is that the man risks causing offense by asking and who wants to cause a drama during the joy of the arrival of a newborn baby. Any decent guy is stuck between a rock and hard place.

    • @bumbledouche3323
      @bumbledouche3323 2 роки тому

      @@rmharding5263 The whole system needs an overhaul but it's too much of a headache so nobody wants to do it. A lot of the laws are antiquated, designed to cover the classic man/woman *marriage* breakup from back when only the men worked & women were mostly housewives (& therefore *incapable* of supporting children without assistance). To cover the more modern relationship/child raising scenarios & changing gender roles, those old laws have merely been amended bit by bit over time. In that sense, it's become a patchwork system that'll never be quite as adequate as something purpose-built. There won't be real equality until those old laws stop being used as the basis against which modern cases are judged.

  • @2REGGIE1
    @2REGGIE1 2 роки тому +5

    This is so wrong on so many levels, I think the laws need and should be changed from the get. If a father or mother suspects a man is not the true father of a child it should be determined at birth for free. This would free up the court system and stop all
    the bull, on the other hand this would make men and women be more responsible before that child is conceived. Now women who lie should be held at the same standard as a man with the pay back ( money spent) of taking care of another mans child. Someone democrat or republican should take up this matter since they are fighting so hard against abortion.

    • @smithcarr7495
      @smithcarr7495 2 роки тому +3

      DNA tests are free at birth in the hospital. If you opt out, then you have to pay. If there’s any doubt, that is your opportunity to settle it without court. The Child Support laws DO need to be changed, but it has nothing to do with access to DNA testing.

    What do you think of the new argument. If a woman has the right to abort the baby the dad has a right to abort child support. The man really wants his baby and she gets rid of it well oh well. The woman wants the baby and the man really doesn't well life time child support. Is that really an argument?
