Bait chunking is always fun!
🤙
Great video a variety of different fish caught. Artificial lures for reds & shrimp for black drum. Great 👍

As a Native Texan, Red Drum fishing is a requirement, never been yet…
But Now I am MOTIVATED!
Thanks for the video!

Appreciate the sub and the kind words! Hopefully you catch a monster!
Great video, had to do a double take when I saw you throwing that live bait to make sure I was on the right channel, haha. Fun stuff, those drum put up a good fight and fry up nice that size!
Shh dont tell anyone 🤫 lol. Yea it was an interesting morning. Wanted to sight fish redfish and check on an area that I thought was holding black drum later in the morning but plans shifted. Fun trip though. Thanks!
Hell yea brotha nice work 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
Appreciate it!
better late than never, nice vid bro :)
Thanks
I saw still poppin in the background at the end of the video. Dang 👍🏻
Yea, good tidal movement made for a productive morning.
Great job and video! Maybe we can meet up this summer and fish. I live in Louisiana and go home to Corpus Christi in the summer.
Thats cool, I miss LA marsh fishing!
I’ll take Fortuitous Fishing everyday!
Sometimes it works out that way
hell yea.. staying put was in cards today ..
Yessir!
Well done! The only downside is having to clean all those brutes!
Haha
"Purple Reign"catches every thing here in the Tampa Bay area👍
Thats a great color! Most important is making sure a fish sees the lure.
When life gives you lemons make lemomaid. A good plan B.
Thats it, sometimes things just work out.
Brother I have the S & J steering system as well . Ive noticed the pin is really rusted but paid it no mind. I'm going to change it out before the same happens to me.😅 What did you use or what are you planning to use to replace pin ?
Im not sure what pin youre referring to. I upgraded my cotter pins so that wasnt an issue. The earlier model steer sticks were only bonded into the aluminum sleeve. Temp changes and movement forced the adhesive to disbond. Owner is aware and all new versions have a set screw in them, are still bonded, and have a heat shrink sleeve to seal it. No failures with new version yet.
@ I’m talking about the hitch pin clips . It has two of them if I’m not mistaken . I’ll just swap them for new ones and keep some spares .
ghetto rig it with mounting tape and a cut piece of a waterbottle lol. curious where do you launch from, ive always wanted to try the marshes but the surrf/jetties always call my name. looks like your far behind the oil/coal rig plant
👍
Maybe a guide trip
Let me know, we can make it happen.
Do you ever fish by red dot over by the jfk!? I think I saw you when I was coming over the causeway
Yea I fish all over Laguna regularly. Its one of my favorite fisheries.
@ yeah I could see a GoPro pole on a kayak so I just assumed maybe like 2 weeks ago haha hope you’re doing well! And happy holidays stay warm
Was it too muddy to get out and wade around?
Its pretty muddy, its marsh land
MAN WHERE IS THIS AT?!😂
Might be back behind the ski canals ?
Great vid as always! Definitely not where I’m thinking! Sorry idk
Thanks

Been wanting to fish this area for many moons. But I have no friends since moving back to CCTX after the service.
