Hi, I enjoyed your video and would like to try making it!! What is the orange oil-like liquid you add to the mixture in the middle, and what does it do?
What sort do you use? I have been experimenting with some different types, I thought portland cement was the holy grail and loved the price. Then Cement all Rapid "Set" , I ordered this Rockite Hydraulic quick hardening and it was like butter, but seamed to go soooo quickly while i have this huge bag of portland (that I had sift before use) ,,, im thinking of trying another brand hydraulic that I can get local like maybe quickcrete, I have been messing around with the idea of jesmonite, but I think thats expensive as well. Then theres hydrocal/hydrostone which are supposedly really hard plasters. I've also seen some cement additives. I should checkout reddit. sorry for the ramble.
it's a superplasticizer. it uses to make the mixture watery and easy to work with without adding any more water. it also helps increase the concrete strength.
I thought he put some hot glue around it, or maybe some silicone, but yeah, unless he used one of those like caulk trim type little plastic tools to smooth it out, i would think so. maybe he sanded it afterwards.

Thank you! I love all the materials you have available in Korea! You should create an amazon account and sell them! you can even have amazon house them in the US (cus u know we be buying stuff like the world is ending more than any country but no disrespect to other countries) and i think you could make more money than you know. some key things i look for in an amazon listing: -information like size/quantity/dimensions, proper explanation, pictures, quick shipping unless it is super special. If you have good English writing, or can have a friend help/even pay someone to review your drafts (from free translation software or google translate), it would be worth it. FYI I LOVE YOUR PROJECT. your creativity sparks mine. I bet you could sell the light kits for $19.99 all day with a nice looking listing. (and we have those here, people are just too lazy to look for them) I would love to be about to paint on silicone to anything i put together like i am painting my nails - and boom its a mold. Do they have silicone like that in Korea? sorry for the long post. love your project!

3:26 what did you add please? Oil?
Si que le agregas
Superplasticizer, an additive for concrete
Hi, Did you mix cement with??????? it was vegetal oil?

It's really good but plz mention the things used. 🙂
These are very good for dining tables....maybe a set of 3 will be fine....I will definitely try this
Dining not dinning 😂😂🙏🙏
That is so Cool 😎, amazing light and easy to do
Nice work....
What kind of concrete are you using?
If you tape the inside of the paper cone instead of the outside you won't get that groove from the tape. Other than that, pretty nice.
I thought he put some hot glue around it, or maybe some silicone, but yeah, unless he used one of those like caulk trim type little plastic tools to smooth it out, i would think so. maybe he sanded it afterwards.
Excellent work.

How much time the concrete take to be solid?
Thank you?
It depends on the thickness, but in this case, 1 hour is enough
Love this! Thx :)
How much it weighs?
Love it!

Uau...lindo!

Omgg thanks a lot
👏👏👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks❤️❤️
hey this is awesome ~ how did you make the lamps white when the concrete was originally grey? Did you paint it? and with what? Thanks!
I think the color of the lamp will looked as the original, because the concrete only reduce it.
Wet concrete is dark gray. After it dries It becomes light gray.
Beauty
what is the liquid you add in drops ?
I wonder too...
Plisticiser
Olive oil :v
@@lemongirl6976 what does the plisticiser do? is that the correct spelling?
@lemon girl thanks!
#creativeaddabymini...amazing
@AshGray I really like this video, kept me coming back to it. Can one make the lamp with Plaster of Paris (POP) or white cement? Pls reply. Thanks
Of course plaster is also possible. plaster is easier to cast, just mix more water to make it fluid
@@AshGrayStudio thanks for prompt reply.
do more!
Nice but too heavy.
Instead of concrete you can use thicker pvc pipe

The liquid put in the concrete “it’s a superplasticizer, it makes more fluid” creator comment.
Could you not use thin set/self leveling concrete?
