I have ordered one after taking one out yesterday. 1.5 150ps technology. The engine is punchy, the DSG is fantastic and there is a lot of space. The ride is good for an SUV...the best bit is the technology.
Love Rebecca. Such a joy to watch. I really love her funny sense of humour but importantly she's a great presenter. She would really fit in well in Top Gear with Matt being there too. If I were the Top Gear boss this is what I would do.
I don't unsrestand why air conditioning keeps being mentioned in reviews, is it like... optional where you live? cause I've never seen a car without one... what the hell?...
Blacksmith574 Haha, summer, here, haha. Like you said, even the cheapest of cars nowadays have airconditioning, but back at the day, there was a possibility to find a car without it. My half-sister's boyfriend used to own a BMW that did not include air-conditioning, which was actually that car's main issue. Also, when my parents and i were visiting other counties (that was a long time ago though, before we started to rent luxury cars in which everything was included and worked perfectly), we sometimes rented cars with no air-conditioning either, for example, Fiat Stilo in Spain, Renault Megane in Spain again, and an Audi A4 in Italy.
Blacksmith574 I went car shopping a couple years ago and checked out a jeep compass that did not have air conditioning. it's not that it didn't work, the vehicle did not have air conditioning built into the vehicle. needless to say, I did not buy the vehicle.
Blacksmith574 How did people live without AC in the past? Sure, I prefer AC and I wouldn't buy a new one without it but my sports car doesn't have one and I don't die driving it. It's got a big sun roof though.
'Connecting the mobile phone' clips in every review just drags out the video. I'd be more interested in the audio quality of the sound system. A friend of mine bought a BMW 318d Sport and the audio output was horrendous in that.
A decent car and review..however as with many cars these days if you spec what you want.. i.e decent power, auto and 4wd it becomes a very expensive car indeed... £35+ !! Abit like the Dacia Duster, the decent one is as expensive as a mid range brand. So I'm not convinced I'm afraid. Also Skida does still have a stigma..it shouldn't but here in the UK it does.
Why isn’t the 2.0 TDI 150PS 4x4 7 seater *manual* version of the Kodiaq certified for towing like its DSG equivalent? How come Škoda decided NOT to approve that version of the Kodiaq for towing? 🤔
Oh come on, it’s not that big of a surprise for Skoda to release an SUV. After all, they’re in the Volkswagen group, and the Kodiaq is based on the Tiguan.
We had a Kodiac top of the range model on hire in Majorca recently, found the manual gearbox a pain, it did like to stall between 1st & 2nd gear, didn’t like to roll slowly in 2nd, again stalling. For a car like this, why are there no cup holders in the front of the car, all you get are bottle holders in the front doors, rear passengers get drinks holders in a fold down section of the rear seat. These were very annoying features in the Kodiaq, ours was brand new when we picked it up, 7 seat 4x4, think carefully before you buy this car. The 2.0 litre diesel is a good engine though if somewhat thirsty, does go well and pulls well though.
Mate, I get that because you're form Eastern Europe, you're somewhat offended that we pronounce it Skoda, but that doesn't matter. Truthfully, I think it sounds very cheesy calling it "Sh-koda". While we respect that it's Czech, we don't have to fall in like everyone else and call it as was originally intended. Its popular enough here anyway, so why change the perception people already have when it's gaining momentum especially in the UK?
If brits were a bit smarter they would know that people with name nemanja don't live in "Eastern Europe" more in Balkans. But don't tell them they are dumb cause they are acctually a higher species in their small minds...
I cannot get my head round why anyone would buy a mid sized or large front wheel drive PETROL SUV? In my mind all SUVs are better suited to diesel and four-wheel drive. It's like a boob without a nipple. Anyway I do think this car is better looking than most in its class and is a vast improvement on the Yeti which reminded me of those cars for wheelchair passengers. Sorry creeps, just talking about the car not the presenter.
Borrowed one for a week. It's ok. Good value for money. Very dull to drive, engine struggles, rear door clangs shut, nicely made interior but the cup holders aren't good and touch screen not good to use. It's certainly not stylish at all. It's basically a big box...and feels like a big box on the road. After a 220 mile journey I was tired and had a stiff neck...jittery on the motorway, doesn't feel stable at high speed...economy 49mpg on that journey. Can't think of a reason why I'd want to buy one! But if you want a relatively inexpensive 7 seat dull large car...which isn't fun to drive nor much to look at...this is it...
John Grytbakk Yes, if you don't need the extra space I'd go for the Kodiaq too as pricing here in New Zealand is close enough model for model likeness I think I'd anti up for the Tiggy but that said I'd hardly feel hard done by in the Kodiaq.
So can you fit child seats in it easily? How much can you get in the boot? How do you get access to the 3rd row? You know - stuff that might actually be important? Carwow do this so much better.
It now makes sense to go for the petrol on this type of car. Far more reliable with egr trying to clean the dirty exhaust etc. Plus the taxes being imposed on diesels.
The Skoda Kodiaq won the Best Large SUV at this years Auto Express New Car Awards
I have ordered one after taking one out yesterday. 1.5 150ps technology. The engine is punchy, the DSG is fantastic and there is a lot of space. The ride is good for an SUV...the best bit is the technology.
There are actually a second glovebox above the one shown. Press the button besides the one you pressed to open the regular glovebox. :)
And there with some luck you may find, if you by exactly that car displayed on this video, Rebecca’s famous banana…
I don't even like SUVs but will gladly watch Rebecca review one.
Yes. My thinking she's cute and liking her accent apparently makes me a 'perv'..
special treat this time, both leather jacket AND tight jeans.
This is why guys are perceived as such horndogs. A girl just has to be marginally attractive and most guys will go crazy for her.
Dan McCarthy yea I came here for cameltoe
I find her extremely annoying, she sounds like a female “Tiff” from 5th gear and too smug about her views.
"... and these chunky buttons are even hard to find in the dark ..." What?
Youre watching a female car reviewer. What did you expect.
@@Phasio wtf do you mean

Skoda Dominatrix Edition
Great review...terrific content and beautifully shot. What makes Rebecca's reviews so good is that she's a car person through and through.
Was there a car in this video? I just watched Rebecca moving around..
kaljuhyypio was there a car ?
good chassis, nice bodywork
ChainsawDude are we still talking about the car?
The car is'nt to bad either
Indeed it is...
They really give an indepth review of some of my favorite cars out their..pleaseee keep making more videos..I really enjoy your videos..
Why is she mimicking Alan Whicker ?
Interesting. The top-diesel has more HP but returns the same miles per gallon. That's pretty neat! Well done Skoda
Many models are not suitable for towing at all so beware. Skoda haven't publicised that.
She'd should be reviewing a ducati dressed up like that 😉😉
The dsg gearbox sure is a big plus on this car coz It's absolutely great!
I don't unsrestand why air conditioning keeps being mentioned in reviews, is it like... optional where you live? cause I've never seen a car without one... what the hell?...
Blacksmith574 It is optional, actually. Or it was optional, for some time at least.
BoringLex How come? what do you do during summer? Here AC is mandatory, it is forbidden by law to sell a car without one.
Blacksmith574 Haha, summer, here, haha.

please stop connecting phone on every single review...
You had a better voice when you was on carbuyer

What colour is it? Business grey or Brilliant silver?
The review says 2020 best SUV but the car reviewed was 3 years ago on a 2017 plate.
Yes beautiful u have given nice review. Keep it up .
She doesnt have a ring anymore
loool
Lets see you review a car then
Thanks Beckie, think I'll get one of these bad boys!
Awesome car and equally awesome review by Rebecca....
Does rebbeca come with the car or is she a optional extra
Title says 2020 but it's made in 2017. I didnt know Skoda made a time machine..
Oh come on, it’s not that big of a surprise for Skoda to release an SUV. After all, they’re in the Volkswagen group, and the Kodiaq is based on the Tiguan.
Rebecca just ruined my life, I was all set to sign a lease on a DS 7 and she does this! Oh cheers Rebecca! (Kidding of course, great revue)
does she normally talk like that when she is out an about, she sounds like an American anchor doing the latest news
Sean ORourke oh god! It would be like having a conversation with a self-serving checkout or a cheap satnav
Whats the name of that colour??
Good review but the music....wtf is that 🤣🤣🤣
Red suits kodiaq
Looks spacious ? But put a normal size Pearson in and watch
Have you heard of Honda Odyssey 7 seater?.....
Titled 2020- car is 2017. Sort yourself out, What Car!

Great review, but comparing it to a Land Rover is just silly.
I'm glad I'm not the only one who's only watching these reviews because of her
Toyota C-HR review please
Q2 ?
She’s fit.
Renamed the video for now views?
great car from Czechia :-)
I am appalled at the personal and sexist comments made about the presenter. I am left wondering why no-one is moderating the comments.
Amazing car 🚗
She's obviously never driven a series 3 landrover, sreering is too light lol
God becca your absolutely stunningly beautiful !! what car ? didn't see one !! lol
Hard to keep my eyes on the car itself
Welcome Back Becca ;)
Š! it is Š (sh) and not S.
If it was meant to be "Skoda", they would write "Skoda" on it and not "Škoda".
My point is quite clear and you replied to it.. so what part you don't understand?
Mate, I get that because you're form Eastern Europe, you're somewhat offended that we pronounce it Skoda, but that doesn't matter. Truthfully, I think it sounds very cheesy calling it "Sh-koda". + Jędrzej Gorski That's a bit awkward if I do say so myself.
nemanja milosevic
No point telling the Brits to pronounce foreign words correctly. Look at the random pronunciation of English words!
If brits were a bit smarter they would know that people with name nemanja don't live in "Eastern Europe" more in Balkans. But don't tell them they are dumb cause they are acctually a higher species in their small minds...
Is it just me or is this skoda kodiaq look like audi q5
The camerawork and editing was horrible. Wanted a good, clear look at that boot.
Very beautiful woman!!!
Nice SUV,aweome review but still i do LUV my Land Rover a lottttttttttttttt
Was Rebecca spawned by Quintin Wilson..?
Worth a poke.
Why does that woman sound like a robot?

I like Skoda's, my daily is one. Not keen on SUVs (just over grown hatchbacks for wankers) The Girl Is average, The car is average, so no big deal..
You are no big deal
I would pay money to get her to stop talking...so annoying!!
NOT A 2020 REVIEW .....This is an old car .....sort it out ...very lazy guys
I'd rather have the new Tiguan.
John Grytbakk Yes, if you don't need the extra space I'd go for the Kodiaq too as pricing here in New Zealand is close enough model for model likeness I think I'd anti up for the Tiggy but that said I'd hardly feel hard done by in the Kodiaq.
Yeti was pathetic and ugly.
This one looks decent at least.
Rebecca more beautiful than kodiaq ❤️❤️❤️❤️
Rebecca
Hmmm Shades of Emma Peel!
So can you fit child seats in it easily? How much can you get in the boot? How do you get access to the 3rd row? You know - stuff that might actually be important? Carwow do this so much better.
kyojitsu1 when Rebecca is on screen, nobody cares about the review!
kyojitsu1 I think Rebecca used to do a banana fitting test for chubby holes.

I missed you from carbuyer Rebecca. .
Pull your socks up What Car - title states 2020 model but firm/model on test is 2017 model.
Rebecca you sound more like that creep Quentin Wilson every tine I watch your reviews
And what about yourself? Your comment is not creepy at all? Its certainly trashy
17 plate?
I love you
Why do you demo the pairing feature in all your videos?? So damn boring
Great car. Thumbs up.
This vehicle reminds me of the new VW Atlas that came out in America
I thought Rebecca had moved to The Telegraph
