This video made me immediately go to buy Lancôme Lash Idôle mascara for the very first (but definitely not for the last) time and I swear to God I've never ever been happier with any other mascara.. Thank you for doing the comparisons between the two mascaras. I absolutely LOVE Maybelline's LashSensation. To be fair, when comparing on your lashes, I did notice when pausing right after you curled your lashes that the lashes on your left eye where you applied the Lancome mascara are fuller, especially on the outside, and just a tad longer, which would definitely make any mascara on that side look better. Would be cool to see a video where you'd switch sides with the same mascaras to see if you'd notice a difference. ;)
I just bought the Lash Sensational. I haven’t even opened it yet and this video came up. I’m excited to try it now. I usually buy higher end mascaras but LOVE learning about less expensive dupes that I can use!! Just subscribed to your channel!!

One of my favourite mascaras is Giorgio Armani’s Eyes to Kill lengthening mascara. It’s a beautiful and really conditioning formula that applies like a dream and doesn’t clump.
my current favorites are the hourglass instant unlocked lash extensions and the hourglass caution extreme volume. i curl my lashes, apply two coats of the caution and one of the unlocked lash extensions and when i tell you my lashes look fake i'm not kidding!!!😭 best combo i've ever tried since i have yet to find a mascara that does everything in one. it also does not flake/smudge on me and my lashes look just as good as they first did 10 hours after application. i also accidentally took a nap wearing them once and i woke up with no raccoon eyes and still had flawless looking lashes! highly recommend!!
Love this review! A great tip that I heard once is to do the lower lashers first, so you don’t get transfer from the upper lashes to your eyelid when opening eyes wide to get the lower lashes.

I once wrote an essay titled, " Mascara is Magic!" and got 100! As a redhead with beyond pale lashes, I can honestly say that Mascara changed my life and I am an expert on Mascara. No matter what mascara I have ever used, and I try them all, using L'Oreal Voluminous Base, which is a white primer, IS magic! I often do heat my lash curler with the hair dryer 1st - do so carefully, as it gets hot fast and you can really burn yourself fast - test on your inner wrist before you use it - but the curl is to die for! Just curl your lashes 1st, heat or no. Use a coat of Primer, comb and let dry. Follow up with 1 or 2 coats of mascara, and comb after. My regular masacra (of late), has been L'Oreal Voluminous Million Lashes, and also an Ulta Plush Drama Volumizing mascara. The heated up curler, Primer, and a good eyelash comb - it must have close set metal teeth, will change your lash life!
Since you have tried them all, can you recommend a drugstore dupe for Lancome Definicils?
L'Oreal Primer and their Voluminous Million Lashes Mascara.The key to perfect lashes is a great metal lash comb. I recommend Tweezerman's. I've had mine for 20 years! I also like Maybellline Full and Soft Mascara. Try it without primer 1st to see if you like the look and if you wnat that oomph boost, use with the primer.

The Essence one makes the lashes wow, but it smudges like crazy with oily skin
Oh mascara is my nemesis. I've tried SO many. I think maybelline Ladh Stiletto is my fav right now. I do have funky lashes too.
Maybelline great lash waterproof mascara is my go to. Does a great job and lasts all day. I love the curved brush one if I can find it.

My favorite ones are Double Extend with the last tubes, Loreal Infallible, Lacome Hypnose and the best imo is Lash Princess! Trust me you won't regret it.

You left out a step. Mascara removal, which mascara is easiest to remove without damaging delicate skin around the eye? 🙈
I personally like to use avocado oil (you could also use olive oil or grape seed oil) on a cotton ball. Gently massage the cotton ball over your eyelashes (moistened with avocado oil) until most mascara is removed. Finish by washing your whole face with your normal face wash, which will remove the oil residue & leftover mascara).
I’ve been using the Lancôme one in a sample size that I received and it’s a very good mascara! And it’s super easy to remove at the end of the day just with warm water, It comes right off. I also hate máscaras that are difficult to remove because normally they damage my few lashes, but this one doesn’t. And I’ve never tried the maybelline one but normally maybelline’s formulas are easy to remove
Baby wipes (unscented) after I get out of the shower. Comes right off, so easy!
I get a tub of Palmers cocoa butter,With a baby wipe and it works Great for the most waterproof mascara,and a regular makeup remover to precleanse,it's the same thing as a makeup melting balm.
And I find baby wipes are way better and way cheaper than makeup wipes!!
My dermatologist recommended Albolene for removal.
The lash princess will last longer if you use the waterproof version. I use that one and Benefit roller lash...my go to's! I've been dying to try the Lancome Idole🌷🖤🌷
The lamcome mascara gives you long, curled and separated lashes, just what I'm after, and long wearing.
I live in England and just seen a travel size version I'm going to buy.

I love Lancome Telescopic Mascara, I like the formula and the brush. It lengthens without being gloppy and it wears all day. Don't love the waterproof formula in this but the regular is really good. Also the mascara stays good in the tube longer than most that I've tried.

by the way the l'oreal telescopic mascara is the same even blacker
Right now I’m using the Essence mascara (the formula you use). On me it does last all day, my lashes look great and it costs $5 on Amazon.

My favorites are Loreal Voluminous, Milk Kush, Makeup Geek and Maybelline Falsies Lash Lift. I want length and volume and these all deliver that without flaking. Not waterproof.

Hi mila could u compare also the Maybelline falsies with false lashes
I have really long eyelashes but they're not the thickest and have blonde ends. So many mascararas clump my eyelashes together making them look like gangly spider legs. Putting mascara on the ends of my lashes usually looks ridiculous. Best thing I've ever done to them is get a lash perm and dye. I'm still searching for a mascara I love. Thanks for this.
I have the maybelline one and idk why but it smudges pretty bad on me and I’ve never had a problem with other mascaras 😭
Have you done a video on waterproof face makeup. I see videos of foundation that will not run off but I have never ordered them.
I have very straight lashes, they almost go down, and I tried the Idole mascara. I curled my lashes as I always do and applied the mascara. They instantly started drooping. I held the brush against them hoping it would push them up and curl them as they dried but that didn't work.
I decided to try again a few days later and heated the eyelash curler. Same thing happened.
I guess the formula is too heavy for my pokey little eyelashes.
I really enjoy your reviews and have had lots of luck with many of your recommendations.

I've learnt a trick that don't apply the mascara at your eyelashes root ( where you just curled them) to prevent drooping
I love Maybelline Lash Sensation. Do try the sky high mascara also.
For more expensive, I love Anastasia Beverly Hills lash brag. Really volumnizing.
I use E.LF. Cosmetics alot. The Keep your Curl Mascara is great.
I am trying brown mascara with brown liner for a softer day look as I am a redhead. But try to find brown mascara. Cover Girl has one and worked pretty well. It does look softer on me.
I will try Lancome again. I want to find a mini size and give it another chance.
LOVE the Maybelline. The wand is my favorite part. I usually go between the Maybelline and Hourglass Caution. Maybe I need to try the Lancome after watching this. I love the formula for the Hourglass and the applicator for the Maybelline.

I am SHOCKED you like the Bite mascara! Literally last night I was playing with it and there was SOOOO much product clumped on the wand, I wiped it off and filled the ENTIRE opening and the whole time all I could think of was you and how you would think it was incredibly messy!!!! Lol how funny i saw this after last night!

Hi, I'm currently using Bareminerals Lash Domination mascara which I love. But I was on the lookout for a brown mascara and I have heard all good things about it. But on the website that I was going to buy from. Some of their reviews were negative because of the smell! If anyone knows that this is true could you please let me know and then I would get the Lash Sensational mascara instead.

The only mascara I have found that doesn’t smudge on me is Lancôme Definicils. It is lengthening but not really thickening, so sometimes I use the Cils base with it. I have tried many drugstore and high end brands but they all smudged. Now that I have found this I don’t know if I will ever switch.
I used both of them years ago in high school. They really do work well together
Josie Maran Black Oil Mascara. My favorite. It does all that, plus you can sleep in it. It's really a treatment oil. I dance Competively, and I need a Mascara not to budge and this one doesn't, plus it's good for you.😊

Well dang! I didn't think that I could learn anything about applying mascara, but apparently I was wrong.
But which one on wedding day? I can not apply lashes. I've tried and tried
I’ve been using GrandeLash for 3 years and my eyelashes touch my eyebrows. So I have to be super picky with mascara or right underneath my eyebrows will be black the whole day.
Currently I use the Maybelline Sky High. I love the formula and it doesn’t transfer.
The essence Lash Princess transfers terribly on me.
I had the same issues. Maybe try the Essence Bye Bye Panda Eyes mascara. It doesn't smudge like the princess one and gives beautiful length and volume. My favorite mascara at the moment :)
I love the Essence Falsh Lash Effect so much that I am continually looking for others to layer on top of it to avoid the upper brow bone smudges it gives me (also a lash serum user). So far, Monsieur Big waterproof is the best. I just can't find any other mascara that gives me the immediate volume that the green Essence one does (even its own blue waterproof version).
Have you tried thrive? Their mascara changed my world! I would spend SOOOO much money on mascara and had tried almost every one on the market. This doesn’t smudge on me at all, it’s incredible: also Lancôme definicils is another great mascara.

I use Lancôme lash primer and it increases ANY mascaras volume, wear time, and less smudging; and prerrty much all mascara smudge on me.
I haven’t tried it under any mascara that it hasn’t improved.
That being said I haven’t tried it under anything on drugstore mascara.
Agree. I’ve used it for years. Though I’m tempted to try Estee Lauder little black primer (i think that’s the name) after seeing Emily Noel rave about it

The thrive mascara is by far my favorite. It is the only mascara that doesn’t transfer to my eyelids and below my brow.
i wanted to like it so bad but i HATED it😭 it was too wet of a formula for my taste and it flaked and smudged terribly on me, plus it clumped up my eyelashes to the point where it looked like i had a total of 3 eyelashes😬

Yes and keeps my heavy lashes curled! I don't think the Lancomb comes in waterproof.
Thrive is the only mascara that doesn’t smudge

I asked on another video..but why do my eyelashes go flat when I apply mascara?....as I was googling some said it's because the waterproof mascara is best is this true Milabu?
Yes waterproof mascara will definitely help them from falling throughout the day. I use a tiny amount of waterproof as my first layer then to build it up I use regular. Also try only doing 2 coats that helps them from falling too. The Shiesado eyelash curler is the best I’ve found that keeps them curled through the whole day!
