  • Euro NCAP performs a series of crash and safety tests on car models:
▶ a frontal impact test where 50% of the width of the car strikes an oncoming deformable barrier, travelling at 50 km/h
▶ a frontal impact test where the car impacts a full-width rigid barrier
▶ a side impact test where a mobile deformable barrier impacts the driver's door
▶ a pole test where the car is propelled sideways into a rigid pole and the robustness of the centre airbag is evaluated
▶ a whiplash test performed on a sled.
A series of pedestrian tests are also conducted with different impactors : adult and child head form, and lower and upper leg form. As well as AEB pedestrian and cyclist tests. In 2023 a test scenario for Cyclist Dooring Prevention was introduced.
Active safety is rated based on the performance of the car’s equipment: autonomous emergency braking car-to-car and car-to-motorcycle scenarios, occupant status monitoring (including seatbelt reminders, fatigue, distraction, and impairment), lane support, and speed assistance technologies.

I thought I was in a parody channel that re-publishes your videos for a moment. You're an information oriented channel, please do not go this far with the background music. It has profound psychological effects that people will associate with the content, and that might create both positive and negative biases towards the vehicles for which they arrived at your channel seeking information. They're not after biases associated with our emotional responses to whether we appreciate or dislike this music; in short, it hurts the neutrality in which this bit of very very important information should be received by the viewer and delivered by yourselves.
Thank you for your work as always. I hope this constructive bit of feedback finds you well.

I dont get how its safe for pedestrians, this shit has a very sharp edge directly on the front, it would very much break the spine with ease, terrible
