  • I bought this from a Japanese used store for $10. It works normally, but it is very weak, I use it to cut only young grass. I feel it is almost useless, but its resources are usable. I decide to made it a little better by replacing the old motor with a newer one. The result is acceptable, it is stronger than before.
Some information you may want to know
    Old Grass Trimmer
    Rotation speed 7400/min
No load power is about 50W
    550 DC motor 18V
    New Grass Trimmer
    Rotation speed 8500/min
No load power is about 90W
    755 DC motor 18V
I hope you find this video useful and enjoy it!
Furthermore, I am happy to receive feedback, suggestions to improve myself.
!!! I'm sorry for the mistake if I did in this video !!!
Thank you very much for choosing to watch my video!
    Have a nice day

Tie wraps on repeat order! I wonder if the inventor of tie wraps had any idea what he started?

You didn't have a video to show how it worked before, but as someone who owns the same tool I can tell the audience it was a huge upgrade in performance. My trimmer doesn't cut anywhere near that good 👍👍

    Great job.
I've often wondered, in some of your "motor re-winding" videos why you don't try to get a better motor....
So this time, you got a better motor!!!
Seems easier to me.... And you did a great job of adapting it to fit & work... Very nice. Well done.

Hi, good job. I had once very similar tool but from husqvarna. And was inside brushless motor. Sensored. Unfortunally one magnet in rotor crack, and motor go to trash. New even was to expensive. Even any kind of sensored brushless motor of that size was too expensive to me. And was of course propper driver, so mod for brushed was very hard to do.
What kind of grease you use for plastic gears? Thanks.

  • @ohadyad
    @ohadyad Рік тому

So, you had a brushless motor and you replaced it with a brushed one? how is this upgrading? it is more like a downgrading. and you also buried the service opening of the motor so there is a need to disassemble everything to replace a carbon brush
