Old Model 3.6V Screwdriver Restoration | National EZ7410
Вставка
- Опубліковано 23 лис 2024
- I bought this screwdriver from Japan recycle shop. I didn't know it works or not while buying. This screwdriver is made in Japan by National. It looks exactly like the Panasonic 3.6V screwdriver on the market today. In this video you will see how I charge this battery, how to clean it and how to put new grease in its gearbox. It looks simple, but there are a lot of parts inside the gearbox.
I hope you find this video useful and enjoy it!
Furthermore, I am happy to receive feedback, suggestions to improve myself.
!!! I'm sorry for the mistake if I did in this video !!!
Thank you very much for your likes, comments, and subscription!
Have a nice day
Gear Show
The fact that you completely tear things like this down to clean them and regrease them and then reassemble them correctly blows me away. Just incredible work!
Thank you very much for showing the mistake, and how you fixed it. It is very important to show that sometimes things go wrong, and you can go back and correct them.

I don't think even the brand's own technician would be able to disassemble and reassemble without the manual 👏👏👏
Thank you for this comment.
@@gear_show you're welcome
I personally learn from you
thank you for all
You're welcome! I'm glad you learn something.
This fellow is amazing, does really good work. Its beyond my capability. If I had seen things like this earlier, I would have tried to fix ny Dad’s old 1950’s reciprocating saw. Had bad brushes (didn’t know that at the time 20 years ago), so I threw it out & bought a new one.
I'm so glad to hear that, thank you so much!
Dhhs
That's incredibly ironic that this video came out right before I had to repair my hitachi db3dl that have almost same case and I thought that it will be good to turn something on UA-cam for background noise, but instead this video actually helped me not to break my screwdriver.
Wow, I'm so glad to heard that. Thank you!
I think I’ve realized why I like these videos. I can watch one and feel like I’ve done my cleaning for the day. Haha
Brilliant tool. My EZ7410 is now over 20 years old and still works like new. It has a yellow body, as was the color of Panasonic cordless tools were back then. Thanks for posting this restoration.
Hi from Moldova< i like everything that says made in japan

What an awesome job restoring the battery-operated screwdriver to working order. Great work.
仕事が丁寧ですね。
Muy buna, su construccion es de alta tecnologia, felicitaciones al fabricante.
National is like the predecessor of Panasonic, if memory serves me right...
It's the same company, but they had to change the name to "Panasonic" in North America because the name "National" was already registered as a brand. Here in Scandinavia they were branded "National-Panasonic" for many years, until they decided to skip "National" and only keep "Panasonic" due to greater worldwide recognition of the "Panasonic" brand.
very good
Almost idendical with "Makita" 12v scredriver mechanism...Cool little Buddy...👍 Nice sound too...
Yes, it is easy to use too.
16:33 Подумал, что он сейчас совместит эту отвёртку с этим аккумом. 😱🤣
это было бы безумием!

Yes bro👍👍👍
Good video very well
Thank you!
Nice work👍👍👍🙂🤝
There's just something so ironic about having to use a screwdriver to open your screwdriver. Like having to cut open the clamshell wrap to open a pair of scissors.
Like a new again, great
Thanks again!

Добро пожаловать, спасибо, что пришли!
> It looks exactly like the Panasonic
You are right.
"National" used to be a bland name of Matsushita Electric Industry.
The company name and the bland were changed to "Panasonic" in 2008.
Fantastic always a pleasure to watch you work. Best Wishes Tont

Thank you!
Selam 🖐️🇹🇷
Ok, the two-wire thingy going into the handle was the light. That's clear.
But what is the three-wire sensor (or whatever it is) in the front for?
It seems to be a speed encoder sensor. Maybe it's part of a safety system in case of a output shaft stall.
It detects when the torque clutch slips and stops the motor, so you don't hear the annoying "tatatatata"
With what did u clean the plastic? Amazing video like always!
Nice bro
Thanks
Muito legal estas restaurações...
