I've watched a few times over the last bunch of months, trying to get my dragon's eye not to look muddy. I had to start over when I sprayed what I thought was a clear acrylic glossy finish, but what actually turned out to be an old peeling label rusty can of white acrylic spray paint! Oops! must read the can more carefully next time.
Had to repaint half my piece...which is an approximately 4" X 3" wood knot from a tree we cut down. When I saw it I just knew it was a Dragon's eye ball, eye brow & under eye area. (Wish we could add photos to YT comments) It's almost like a piece of a broken mask. I'll try Instagram.... Thanks for posting your art!!
