that looks so fun. I just ordered one the other day and have plans to upgrade it to two motors, a dual controller and bigger battery. should be pretty fun
I equipped my Phantom C1 with an 60v/25ah battery and a 1.5kw controller + high Speed bldc motor. Now fun guaranteed with my green mile beast, sports cars hate me and my scooter when light goes green at traffic lights...
Loved your video. They musta sold Alot of these with different brand names and distributors. Just got my PGG last week and I really like it, but it definitely struggles on hills. The owners manual states that the motor is 450 watts. Ideally, I'd like to add a 36v 20a battery in parallel. I don't think that will help with the top-end speed, but hopefully will provide more current for the motor and provide bit of a boost for the up-slopes. I'm looking for "performance" parts and upgrades, but there doesn't seem to be very much available, like motor/wheel assembly, controllers, throttle(s), so I'll start with the bigger battery. It would be of help to have a wiring diagram, but for now, I have my VOM. (Adds a whole new meaning to "flying by the seat of your pants".) Your suggestions? Any links for suppliers would be greatly appreciated too. Cincinnati Ohio USA
Do you own the ware house or something lol I didn't realize there were so many different phantom c1 makes until now. Did the modifications you made make it go faster? Also your very underrated this vid was insane!
Thank you man, we are the techs. We work on them all day and ship em. Ya we have upgraded the controllers for a more even output and have ran more power through them with dual batteries. We are working on an upgraded controller that can be sold to the public. Thanks for the like and subscribe man!!
@@jakewetzel3186 Oh nice let me know when they come out also are their different versions of the c1 or are they just a different color. I have the yellow one it goes like 15 mph or a little more altogether their sick!
Sure would be nice to see how battery mod was done. Would hate to throw this away when battery dies. Just bought one at independent shop today. Sadly noted after the fact battery not replaceable?
Oh, holy hell don't tell me that. I bought one from a pawn shop last year, still in the box. They built it for me. I think I have used it only about 5 times and gone 1/2 mile each time. This last time the battery died on the way home. I've kept it plugged in, too. Really mad if there is nothing I can do. Out $400!
best AD i ever seen XD.. the ybasicly ruingin that thign anyway ans it still go.. glad i have already XD,.., seriously liek 15KG of metal just a frame..
Does anyone know the maximum voltage these controllers can handle stock? I haven't opened mine up yet but my goal is for more speed uphill. Currently the hill near my house takes the scooter down to avoid 1 or 2mph. Hoping to avoid dual motors.
It's a 36v 350w system so likely the controller is max. 18a but likely a 15a controller, it the controller states 36/48v then you can install a 48v battery and up the speed a bit and take off power, If not you will have to get a better controller and battery @ around 21a on both the battery BMS and controller. This is one of the weakest motors on the market, most new riders make the mistake of buying cheep then after a couple of hrs ridding are disappointed with how slow they are. I have 2, 1 a crapy go Trax I put a 500w motor with 48v system it hits 28mph, I also have a Wolf warrior pro 49mph and 45 miles on a charge..if you can save up around $1,500 one of the best scooters on the market is the emove cruser 30mph and up to 60 mile range. Good luck with your build.
@@theebikeguy3852 thanks for the input. I'll check out that remove, especially if increasing power on mine will take more than just battery. I actually just looked at my scooter the other day and couldn't even find a way to get into the battery box, no screws or clips visible anywhere. Will have to look again.
@@Jrod_FPV Is it the keyed ignition one? Should be 8mm bolts on the bottom, cut the ziptie, pull the controller box out and then regular screws to get into the unit. Controller and battery in there.
@@PrestonThompson it is but I don't see any fasteners or holes or anything besides flat smooth plastic. I really don't want to start prying and break something but it might come to that.
Respectfully, they need to incorporate Lithium Iron Phosphate batteries into these scooters. Lithium-Ion batteries can be dangerously combustible. Too many people are dieing. Thanks for your review.
The quality and effort put into this video is amazing keep it going man.

Progress on this? I'm thinking about trying the same.
Progress? I just got mine, and while I like it it seems perfect for modding.
I just added fuzzy dice to mine, now my mod is complete.

Looks amazing! any tips to make my phantomgogo r1 faster?
The funny thing is you don’t have another video of showing you doing modeling any of this

@@jakewetzel3186 hey Im thinking about buying one. Would like mines to go at least 25mph with a 40 mile range. Could y'all make that happen for me?
I don’t think they modify anything
What about replacing the same tire if it goes flat how to find the same brand model number
can I expand the battery? it only came with 7ah capacity and I have a battery from my old jetson scooter
Can you guys mod mine? Lol
My light don’t work 😢
does anyone know how the battery box can be open its seems that is sealed under the platform and there is no screws ?
