Apologies for the mic quality on this one guys. There was a humming sound in the background so I had to remaster it when editing - hence it sounds a little different. I'm no technician and I don't have an editor but I'll figure it out. Thanks for watching.

Well I need more videos like this especially on the topic of emotional stability like how to get work done even we don't feel like it or how to spend our day with maximum efficiency cause when something goes wrong the whole day is ruined and then the next day then after a month we realize we wasted the whole month without even starting
Or maybe how to get started it's the most difficult one for me to just start doing work that 1st step is the hardest
Need more longer videos and thanks for this

I found this channel a week or two ago and man, do I wish I had found it sooner. Every bit of information is well presented. Every video is engaging and the story telling is top tier. This channel has literally become my favourite channel and turned me on to even more books that I want to dive into. Thanks man. I wish you much success with your channel and future!

You’re SO right, one thing that I slip up on when making habits is to do the things for the identity I want> goals.

First off, thank you for your passionate work here.
Secondly, I have a question: how do you know if the changes you want to make accurately reflect your true self? I have struggles with identity stemming from cptsd. I want new habits but I find myself stuck in knowing if the habits themselves are authentically me or a projecting of who I think I should be...that's some complex schtuff I know. Specifically in this video where I'm stuck is "habits that are incongruent with the self won't last" and how I can go about saying, for sure finally, "yea this is me."
    Thank you again

Speaking from my own personal experience, there is no easy answer to your question. The reason is that as things around us change, we also change. So your goals this year may not even exist next year. If I want to be something this year, I may learn later that there is something else that I like better later. So the goals do change over time. The best thing I can offer is set some achievable goals, work towards them. When you have almost got to the goal, say 80% or more, ask yourself what is my next goal? And is it online with my current one. Because if the next goal you have requires you to have reached your first one, then keep going. But if your next goal seems closer to the new you, you may not want or need to complete the first. It is always good to complete a goal because it gives you confidence that you can do it, but we don't always need to reach a goal. Maybe how you have changed in the progress towards a goal is satisfying enough to say, I found a new me, and am now going to switch to a new goal. Our environment is constantly changing, so you can't expect what you want not to change as well. As a kid I wanted to be an astronaut, but later I found I enjoy computers and robotics more my style. It changed. Yours will also. Start small, work towards something, but be satisfied with your progress and be happy about your new goals and desires for the future. You may not know your inner self until you reach some level. So just be honest with yourself everytime you set a new goal. And reevaluate when you get close to achieving each goal.

Just a slight correction! it is temptation bundling, not temptation building. you bundle the thing you wanna achieve with the thing you love to do.

    Hello Lewis!
    May I share my feelings
I just want to share with you, that I absolutely admire you and love your channel!
I’ve been going through a hard time, hard breakup..
And your channel has helped me so much, do you have any suggestions and help for someone going through a tough relationship?
I love this work and teaching so much, and I’ve been learning this as well.
I’m reading the book Mindsight by Dan J Siegel
I heard some of him mentioned in your videos.
And I am surprised someone my age wanted to learn this to, and teaches it!
Thank you so much, and I can’t wait to watch more of your videos
Hope you have a wonderful day!

      Hi Saporah!
It's great to hear you've been finding value in the channel amidst the storm you're navigating. Although by the sounds of it, it sounds like you're in good hands with yourself looking out for yourself (that was a mouth-full!).
I highly (and emphasis on "highly") recommend you check out the works of Harriet Lerner. I have been non-stop reading her over the last 2 weeks and she has such a refreshing, assertive and compassionate view of relationships. I believe she will help you navigate what you're experiencing.
      I'd suggest you start with:
      - The dance of connection (Harriet Lerner)
      - Why won't you apologise? (Harriet Lerner)
Hang in there and keep us updated in future video comment sections!
      Lew
