Really enjoyed your earlier vids on the Heritage. I bought mine in Oct '23, it is a fantastic machine and its my first HD too. Never have I watched a reviewer where I agreed with all the reviewers opinions on a bike. Enjoy miles of smiles and looking forward to more of your Heritage journey. Cheers man.
I just bought a 2023 Heritage about a month ago as a retirement gift to myself after working as a prison guard for 35 years. Love the bike the power is amazing, the handling is incredible and the comfort fits like a glove. Enjoy the ride!!
Thanks Ronald. I bought mine for similar reasons and it is all those things I love about it too. Definitely the most comfortable bike I've ever ridden. Enjoy many happy hours of motoring on yours too. :>)
Such a beautiful Bike. I am gonna take delivery tommorow. What I already had the Dealer put on are Crash Guards Front (Mustache) and back and for my Girl some footboards as well as the Tour Pak, with that huge integrated Backrest. Hitting two Birds with one stone. More Cargo Space and a nice Backrest for her. That made it necessary to change out the complete license Plate assembly and tail lights, because unfortunatly here in Germany we have giant license plates which would fit below the Tour Pak. Now Ive opted for a license Plate with integrated little LEDs for Brake and Blinkers, which makes the rear totally sleak looking. Mine is Chrome and Apline Green, because I am the rare breed that doesnt like black bikes. espacially not gloss black, maybe matt, but not glossy. Thanks for your Review and ride safely. God bless
That sounds like the perfect set up. I couldn't afford to do all the accessories on delivery but your fit out sounds very similar to what I will do to mine. ENJOY YOUR NEW BIKE. Congratulations on a great choice. :>)
Thanks Allan. That's a really nice thing to say. And yes I definitely intend to enjoy this bike for many years to come. I hang on to all my bikes for a long time.
I'm so excited I pick up my Heritage Classic next week. Identical to yours but from Morgan and Wacker in Sydney. Getting chrome slip ons and heat shields to break up the black a bit. Very excited. Nice to see Bangalay Dining in your video, I was there 2 weeks ago for lunch. Might see you on the road when I come down to my Vincentia house
Exciting news. When I picked up mine someone else was about to pick up theirs and had fitted chrome guards front and back, a chrome sissy bar and rear rack. Looked really good with those chrome elements. Re Bangalay. Great restaurant. As is South on Albany in Berry.
A couple of useful accessories you may think about is the Ultimate Seat sissy bar relocation kit. It moves the sissy bar back 3 full inches for your passenger. My wife really noticed the difference. Also, JES Customs has a nice oil temp guage that replaces the stock oil cap. Quality products. I'm ordering up a Freedom 19" windshield which has a slight flip at the top. Should help with the airflow over 60 mph. I'll try to remember a followup comment after I test it out. This model is awesome. You picked a good one!
Thanks Daniel, I will. I did ask about it on the day I picked it up and they said it did have tubes. But I will now double check and make sure that information if correct. Cheers. :>)
Yes, 2022 was the only year for the cast spoke option. Must not have been popular. I'm going to seal my spoked wheels this winter so I can run tubeless.
@@garyboman5018 that should give you the best of both worlds. Spoked wheels that are in keeping with a bike that harks back to older machines ... while still being able to plug the tires on the side of the road if you get a puncture.
I am so on the fence between a Heritage Classic and a Super Chief Limited.... I like the look of the HC so much more, EXCEPT the speedo on the gas tank. I wonder if I could mod the speedo to the handle bars :/
I didn't know if I would like the speedo on the gas tank at first but it quickly grew on me and now I love it. I don't like the small digital one on the Low Rider S. Personal taste though.
I have 2022 Heritage. Put 60,000 k on it already, and loved each klick. I've have also done moto camping with my BMW buddies. No issues on dirt trails due to the good ground clearance. Real smooth and handles great!
I traded my Harley heritage Softail classic 2012 for a road King classic the same year difference was heavier back rest apart from that maybe smoother it's more touring dominated i do regret the trade in with money my way was an FJR Yamaha 2012 the same bikes the police ride iv still got the Yamaha FJR it's now done 168 KMs without any issues a really good reliable Fast smooth bulletproof bike which im still going to keep id love to find out how many KMs these bikes will do before something major happens im still a huge fan of the chrome and old school Harley Davidson look's anything after 2018 or the Indian chief or pursuit same vintage I'll just give them both test rides even though Polaris now own and build engine's for Indians
Thanks Susan. It would be great to have the budget and room to have one of each but unfortunately that's not very realistic. Hope you enjoy many many miles of great riding.
Just come across your channel iv owned a few Harley Davidsons from 89 heritage Softail iv also had a road King classic much heavier i now regret selling 1 of them i paid 36 grand by memory with pipes and a breather kit anything later than a 2018 id definitely look into i hope they handle stop and wallow that was my big hiccup i didn't like another motorcycle im very much interested in is the Indian pursuit or the model down which could be a chief iv really wanted 1 since the age of 12 or 13 did you get to ride any indians
Haven't ridden any Indians yet but very keen to try out a Chief ... but not the newest one ... would prefer one with an older style dash/guage. I think all the tech in the new ones will date quickly. An old school instrument cluster to me never dates and if it stops working is easier to replace. Which is why I love the dash on my Heritage Classic.

I just got a Heritage Classic last week and I love it! I've been waiting on your review since the reveal and it didn't disappoint!
Thanks Chloe and congratulations on your bike. Great Choice. What colour did you get? Hope you enjoy many miles of smiles on it. :>)

JES also sells fork wind deflectors, which I found to be the cure for buffeting on my Street Glide
@@kingkrimson8771 thanks for the info
Great video. Hold on tight to your dreams!
Thanks Toni
Great bike and affordable price. Thanks for sharing your thoughts and insights.
Thank you for watching :>)
Love your review. Thanks for the ride.
Thanks Robert.
I think I would have to make them LED the rear before I buy one. It’s an awesome looking bike. Hopefully I will test ride this weekend.
Awesome. Enjoy the test ride. :>)
The Milwaukee 8 engine always sounds like that
Best bike Harley makes
Thanks Greg. Totally agree.
The heritage is underrated in oz & the states as a tourer not sure why I had a 1992 & still have a 1995 & 2014 heritage good two up bike
Hi Brett. Yes I totally agree with you.
Excellent review!
Thanks Daniel :>)
My 22 heritage has tubeless spoked wheels, you may want to double check that,

Definitely tube tires, but I love my 2023 Anniversary FLHC nonetheless-enjoy!
