Dear Matt, thank you very much for the detailed review. I appreciate your effort and time to share your experience in your videos. I have owned a 2008 Heritage softail for about three years, which was my first Harley. I traded it in for a street glide in 2012 and my current bike is a 2015 Road glide special. As a touring family rider, I can not deny the fact that i still miss the Heritage so much. It is a great bike. I would strongly recommend it to anyone. Best wishes from Ankara-Turkey
I’m a 59 year old boomer and I love the new Heritage. I test rode one Wednesday. There will be one in my garage soon along with a 04 RKC and a 97 DWG. I’ve never been much on chrome. Prefer to ride and not clean and shine.
I like both the -2017 models and the 2018 models. Hands down, the new 2018 Heritage is a better ride for numerous reasons. Really leaning towards a 2018 model to add to the stable.
I'm 5'6" 150# and just turned 69. I traded in my 2017 Street Glide special for a 2022 Heritage and just love it. This is the perfect bike for me for the rest of my riding life. Hopefully for a long time to come.
I rented a heritage classic in 2019 and rode from LA to NYC mostly along route 30 the Lincoln Highway, fantastic ride fantastic bike. I finally bought a 114 heritage classic last year, fantastic bike I can't wait for summer.
I'm in my mid 70s, always had lots of chrome and 2 tone paint, white walls, the works. One of my favorite bikes was the 2000 Road King I bought new, kept for ten years. I've had a couple of other bikes since, including a 2016 Heritage which I kept for a year or so. Missed my Road King. Bought a 2018 and was very uncomfortable with it. 6 Gal. tank, bigger engine, just wasn't feeling right. I'm 5'6, not big enough for the newer, bigger, model. Brought it back after 2 weeks and bought the Heritage 114. Never been happier. Got the Iron red denim, blacked out everything, no more tons of chrome to clean or whitwalls to scour and it handles like a dream.
Thank you for another great video, Matt. I just picked up a 2019 Heritage classic 114 in wicked red this past Saturday at High Desert in Idaho, and I absolutely love it! I'm 5'9" about 250 lbs, and this thing is perfect for my build and shorter legs. I had them add the Vance and Hines slip-ons with a tuner, and it just goes! I find the bike loves to roll at 80-90 no problem. Anyway, thank you so very much, buddy! I am enjoying the windshield, and I plan to take it off for around town, but on the highway it makes a huge difference. This is my first Harley after riding Yamaha's for years, and i have to say, I think H-D makes amazing motorcycles, and the Heritage is in a class by itself. Totally stoked with my choice. Thanks again!
As always, you show everybody out there on how to do a proper bike review. Thorough and complete! To me, the Road King has long been the only choice for me as my next bike but this video has given me reason to consider the Heritage Classic; something I hadn't done in the past. Thanks again and keep up the great work.
Hell of a review boss, i got off an 18 king special after 2 yrs for all the reasons you stated being a 5’7” agressive rider. Got on a 17 heritage, more size comfort but definitely a step down, and you are making a hell of a case for me on the 18 heritage 114, thanks man!
Thanks Matt...I'm going from a 1200 Custom Sportster 2013, to this Heritage Classic 2018 bike. Very informative vid. It helped me tremendously on my decision. Love your vids...dude you are famous...thanks from SC 🇺🇸
What a time to be a rider. Whether it be British, European, Asian or American. Motorcycles are far better than ever. And Harley Davidson's are the cream of the crop. Matt, your reviews are hands down the most comprehensive on UA-cam. I wish you all the best.
My son has a 12' soft tail, he said hands down this is a better bike, better handling, a lot more power, but liked how his looked over the new one. The new seat, for a harley, is great.
Great report. Thank you for answering all my questions. Guess I'll have to stay with my RG. I hope HD realizes what an asset you are to them. You do all these you tubes, that help so many from all over the country.
I have commented about this before, but your vocal delivery with it's calming cadence and detailed info make for a very listenable and informative video. Great job, as always. Thanks Matt.
Matt, your information on a Heritage Classic 114 assisted me on purchasing a 2019 Heritage Classic 114 with a stage one. Also has Rinehart mufflers with Screaming Eagle Pro Street Tuner and H-D big breather. I am very pleased with this bike. Thanks again for all your help.
Just bought my 21 Heritage 114 in Blackjack metallic! This bike has everything that I need! I was very disappointed when HD discontinued the deluxe but this bike has everything that deluxe had plus a touring soul! I’m in love!
Very thorough review as always Matt. I`m a 59 year old UK resident who recently cruised a 103 heritage down Hwy1 San Francisco to LA. Covered a few miles on the 101 too. If you`re gonna ride in the States its gotta be on a Harley right . The heritage was the perfect partner for the 577 mile journey. Adequate power, great comfort, low seat height (I`m only 5 ft 8 inches with a 29 inch seam), decent luggage capacity and the weight actually helps stability in windy conditions. Its a great all rounder. It does seem that on the 2018 model the side stand has been moved back a few inches, that`s no bad thing, I certainly found it a stretch. Interesting too that that the heel shifter has gone, I had mixed feelings about it, I didnt use it intentionally and a few times I accidentally hit it when placing my feet on the footboards. I like the idea of the solo reach seat, gotta be a good option for us shorties. Anyway, I think the 2018 upgrades to the softail line are really positive and forward thinking, however, I think the new appearance is a matter of taste ( I kinda like all the chrome and the white rims) but hey if someone wanted to buy me a 2018 heritage for Christmas I wouldn`t object. Keep the reviews coming Derek Cook UK
That two-tone Industrial Grey is a killer! Yep, the older one gets, the more comfort one wants. Not that I´m implying that you are old sir, but I am. At least older at the age of 51 ;) I sure am leaning more and more towards this bike here. It sort of has it all. Excellent work as usual and keep ´m coming sir!
Lots of great info and I’m glad that I watched this before going to the dealership. I was looking at a used 2017 but with the changes that were implemented in 2018...I’d be crazy to go that far back! Now to wait for the dealership to open once this shelter in place is lifted.
Baby boomer here loving this version 100% better. Seems like HD would add the LED's standard to the Road King. Another very fine and thorough review Matt!
Love the fact they’re finally getting with the program on chassis tuning and handling. The old suspension was nasty and “crashy” over rough pavement... you know, the loose definition of “pavement” most of us in the real world have to deal with. The semi rigid bags look like a nice improvement... I will have to rent one and see how they work over a couple days. Nice looking bike, happy to see the overhaul. Definitely need to go ride one and feel it for myself.
I bought the 2020 model with the 114 motor about a year ago and it’s the best bike I’ve ever owned. Very comfortable with plenty of power and handles superbly. Great bike but my only gripe is that the turn signals and rear brake light are not LED. Come on, Man. Digital display is great and the USB port was a nice addition.
Great, great review. If I were looking for a Harley now, this would be the choice. I like that the windshield and saddlebags can be easily removed. I would go more the Chopper route in mods, but I like the touring capability/potential and of course, the 114 engine and greater suspension travel. It's a home-run Harley in my opinion. Thanks again Matt.
Thanks for this review. Have been trying to decide between the Heritage and the Sport Glide and looks like after watching both of your reviews I'll be going for the Heritage!
Thanks Matt. After watching your review, I traded in my '14 Street Glide Special and bought one of these last week. Really happy and much more confident on this than the SG. It was too heavy and unbalanced for me.
Matt, I got to test ride one just after they came out. It had the 114 cu. in. engine. Got to say it made my 2013 FLSTC feel like my sporty. Seriously great improvement in many areas especially the ride quality. The 114 has punch to spare on this bike. If I had room in my garage for a fourth Harley this would be in it. I ride my Heritage to work almost everyday but there is a great argument for upgrading.
Thanks Matt for all the great information you share on the new Harley bikes. You have me showing an interest on a new Harley. Although my Harley has been paid off for several years and in very good shape. You are quite a good salesman. I love to watch your videos and learn which bike would be the one for me, if I were to trade. Keep the good work up.
Another good video... i watched your video(s) from the H-D show back in August and as a result the new Heritage in the Twisted Cherry sits ready for me in my garage. I demoed both 114 and 107 and agree you do notice some difference but the 107 has plenty power and torque for me.... I am adding chrome wherever i can though!
Just to say I bought a heritage softail today and can’t wait for it to be delivered. I am grateful for Matt’s detailed review of this bike, which I have watched several times and found very helpful. As I live in UK, I regret being unable to make the purchase from Laidlaw’s H-D!
I have just purchased the 114 Heritage based on your video and comments, traded in my 2017 Fat Bob that I also bought based on your video and you were spot on with that one but doing alot more longer trips in New Zealand so wanted to go slightly more touring! I havent even ridden it yet and it gets to me in a week cant wait ! CHEERS
Hi Matt, great review as always and pretty much spot on. Being a 58 year old "Boomer" I would have liked a chrome version, but since purchasing I,m actually preferring the look, and glad it's still made of metal ! I opted for the Twisted Cherry to lift the black as the black on black would have been too black ! and us oldies do have to have something that shines ( matt finishes just don't do it for me). I owned a 2009 Road king for 5 years and without doubt had the best touring times on this bike. As a 6 foot 2 inch and 200 + pounds person the King was great. I'm coming off the 2016 Street glide now to the Heritage as I wanted a lighter, not necessary smaller bike as the years are catching me up now !, but still wanted to do the day tours , not necessarily those weekends or weeks away. The Heritage is very much like the Road king, it has plenty of room for me, it handles great, and I can get the wind in my face again, just like the King days, but this Heritage is so much nimbler and it really is impressive with its handling. The King does feel heavier in the showroom and I guess as I've been there and done that wanted to try a different model. I've yet to do the two up bit as the back rests are on back order down here, but I know it won't disappoint. Anyway, great reviews and appreciate you doing them as Harley should recognise you are acting as a great ambassador for them with the guys around the world not just in the US. Keep up the great work. Glenn, Sydney, Australia
The RK and Heritage were the 2 bikes I shopped. I rode both in the same day. RK Special was first, and I enjoyed it but after 11 miles my hands were going numb from the shape of the bars. I figured it would be a easy fix if I went that direction. Up next the Heritage 114 and I was not even a mile down the road and knew it was the right bike. Despite being under 6ft and 175lbs I do not believe that was the reason. I knew either bike would extend my season and I would do longer trips but I do not do a lot of highway rides for long periods of time. Bike is perfect and the M8 is fantastic.
Matt, Thanks for doing this review. As a new rider, I had an open opportunity to test ride a few bikes before making my purchase. The first bike was a 2016 Dyna Street Bob, which was everything my new-to-Harley and riding mind expected- a true Hot Rod! Next was a 2016 Softail Slim, which was very agile and more mannered than the Dyna, but I found it clunky. Once we went through the older/used bikes, we moved into the 18' Heritage 114, which I was excited about due to the similar ground clearance of the Fatbob (As mentioned in one of your previous videos). The 18' heritage was a beauty to ride and felt smooth and solid around town... so much so that I was pretty set on the purchase. Though the last bike we pulled out was an 17' Road King Special... I found the Road King Special to be agile, quick and like the 18' heritage... forgiving. Both Bikes, gave me confidence on the road. I ended up doing the Road King Special, but the choice was difficult. In my humble opinion, if you come into the 18's with an open mind aesthetically you will be impressed with their road manners. Thanks for taking your time to do these videos. I have found it most useful while diving head first down the rabbit hole of the two wheel world! PS. The 18' Softail Deluxe (Blue) in person is by far the most gorgeous bike on the showroom floor right now.
Warning to anyone who rides the new FLHCS 114, it will BITE you! It bit me and wouldn't let go. I rode this and within 1 minute I knew I wanted it. I traded my '08 Street Glide in. This bike handles so nice. I had a 2004 Fatboy as well and the 2018 Softail Heritage Classic just handles and rides very nice. Also, I'm 6'4 and this bike fits me and is comfortable. All I need to do (for me personally) is get a longer foot brake lever and shifter so they are out front a little more, which I also had on my Street Glide. Overall, I love this bike!
So comprehensive, and i like that you use a quality camera (well i dont know what you use but it has a good clear image). But such a good overview and even though you sell these you still give a balanced report.
I took out the adonica bike yesterday was awesome I actually thought it was better than my streak light on bumps have a 2018 it handles great what a motorcycle thanks for the video Matt take care
I purchased the anniversary heritage. Love it. I traded my 2017 Heritage for it. Everything is better. Everything. Tring to figure out what to do with the exhaust
Just traded in my '13 FLSTC for this bike but in vivid black. Only changes I'm making right now are V&H pipes and an engine guard. Can't wait for winter to end so I can ride on.
Great review. Keep up the good work Matt. Personally, I ride a 1995 Heritage Softail Classic. Yes, it’s just a carbureted 80” Evo, but I love it. That being said, this redesigned Heritage has caught my attention. If I were buying a new bike today, it would probably be a vivid black 114” Heritage or an Industrial Gray 114” Fat Boy.
Absolutely the best and most informative reviews out there bar none. Take real pleasure in your reviews Matt. As I'm a Deluxe fan/rider, will you review the 18 model soon. Cheers from Australia
Thankyou for your review. Will be my next bike, hopefully in 2018, green and black. I have seen one of those at the harley dealer here and it's gorgeous. I just don't love the studs but i can live with it. Taking off the bags and the windshield basically leaves you with a blacked-out deluxe. This is the most versatile of the new softail line, i better start saving as here in italy it's effing EXPENSIVE
I own this bike at this time. I traded my 16 street glide special in for it. I love the bike. It is over a hundred pounds lighter than the glide and a whole lot easier to manhandle in the garage when parking it. ( Is is noticeably faster? OH HELL YEAH.) I have owned a Honda magna and VTX, both great bikes. I have had a new in 06 Fat Boy, new 08 Road King, new 15 and 16 street glide. This new Heritage is my favorite bike out of all of them. Owning those Harleys I have noticed a reoccurring theme of what pipes I should get. I was told the cat in the street glides were in the header pipe next to the heads. I don't know if that is true. I have been told the cat in this Heritage is still in the header but now it is at the end next to the slip on. I am cycling back and forth from Vance and Hines and the Street Cannons. I have had both and both are great. I am leaning towards Street Cannons at this time.
I wish this color was still available! I’ve never owned a Harley Davidson but I’ve owned many bikes. I’d love a Road Glide but I don’t need that capability right now. This model could be perfect. I love the look they did a fantastic job with the update.
I think Harley Nailed it with this Bike. The looks, the performance, the suspension. The suspension just flat out works. Quite frankly, to me the Heritage looks like bike you would see next Harley-Davidson in the dictionary. It has the quintessential harley look. Looks like a 36 knucklehead, yet modern feeling in every way.
A great, informative video as always, Matt. She is a gorgeous bike, there is no denying that, but I am of the camp that this isn't what I picture when I think of a Heritage. My Heritage just got totaled (people love not paying attention in intersections) and I'm actually gonna try to grab a 105th Anniversary Heritage now. The old school look is what attracted me to them in the first place. I've said before, I'm the size cat you would point towards the Road King, but Softails just do it for me.
The Terracotta Cruiser! I actually rode this very model with the 114" motor! It was light and nimble and seemed high, as you say, the stock rear suspension is probably perfect for you tall folks! I loved the blacked out look, it really popped! Turn offs: The exhaust looks horrid all jacked up like they are. And the saddlebags are horrible, I know I'll only piss and moan for a second, they look like the Police model bags and just look out of place! I didn't like the over all lightened up feel to it. Never seemed to plant itself anywhere in the ride. Oh sure it zips around corners but passing a big truck in the oncoming lane at speed hit the top of my head pretty good. Turn ons: The shifting was nice and smooth. The suspension was excellent! I see some off road camping on a bike like this. Long haul? No thanks, just doesn't have the weight I'm accustomed to. But like you, I'm a ride snob. Comparing the Heritage to the Road King just isn't a fair comparison, my 2017 Road King would put this thing in the weeds! :) But out of the new line up this is the best bike in my opinion. It's a cool looking cruiser and it screams for sure! Not hating on it at all, it's a sweet ride. Thanks for the review!
Watch all your reviews. Nice style and color though I am one for the chromed out look. One thing I noticed was no quick release on saddlebags. Not a big deal. I own the 17 RGS and remove my bags often for cleaning. Makes it simple. Thanks for your vids
Another great review Matt, I am one who likes more chrome on a bike of this caliber, the black out looks great but I like the bling on a bigger bike like this but hey that's what the Deluxe is all about.
I like the black. For one it is easier to clean and it won't rust. The second thing is the black is a throw back to the 50's bikes. Go and look at them and they have all black parts for the front end, bars, etc. Harley did a great job with this. I have always liked the heritage models because of the bags, shield, extra lights, etc. I like this model even better now.
Test rode a 2018 heritage softail 107 down in deadwood SD this year. The power was non comparable to my 2007 boulevard c90se (1500cc) the bike was identical to this one just with the smaller motor. Needless to say... out of 6 Harley’s I test rode, this one is what I’ve decided on buying.
not to hateful, in fact very impressive Matt. not big overwhelming changes that freak the older generation out (yes, they will piss & moan) but advancing on this platform. see why you like it Matt, keep the videos coming brother and be safe out there. have a great & safe weekend Matt! ~ t.bone ~
One one of the older generation 66 yrs young,5'8" 170 lbs ,..I just traded my 2012 Ultra ltd.in on a 2018 Heritage 114 Ann. model....This will be my 8th Harley , love the blacked out look, 114 cubes ...ya...I still tour ,rode all the US states & Canadian provinces... Tired of that 900lbs + luggage... This bike is still heavy enough ...All boils down to preference ,riding style.and what you want ...Excellent video & description... Thanks Matt
Thanks Matt, awesome video. As a past FLSTC owner, one thing I do miss on the '18 is the short sissy bar and small luggage rack on back. Would be a must have parts addition to complete that bike. I bet that 114 is a beast! Love it!
I only have 2yrs. Experience riding a dual sport. I've always loved the style of the heritage classic style and I'm wondering if this would be a good bike with my experience?
Another great review Matt. I still prefer the styling of the 2017 and earlier models of the Heritage Classics. The 103 engine has all the power l would need. Remove the badging from the new HD Heritage and place it next to a Suzuki Blvd.C90T., and in my humble opinion, it would be hard to tell them apart. tcrs.
I have a 2019 Harley Davidson Heritage 107 with the Screaming Eagle stage 3 get with the All-Stars torque cam and D&D fat cat pipes and getting one 115 horsepower with 135 torque!! Awesome videos as always and always looking to see what else did you have put out thank you👍
Thanks Matt,I own a 2003 Heritage Classic Softtail,100 year edition, the bike is amazing,I first looked at a Fat Boy but took the Heritage, thanks for the info🤘🏻Ride safe my Brothers and Sisters🤘🏻
Great review. The comparison between the Heritage and the Road King was outstanding. Even though I'm only about 5'8" and 180# I'm still leaning toward the Road King. Like a lot of people I'm praying H-D offers the 114 from the factory next year when I plan on buying.
Thanks fort the video on this bike, after watching your previous videos I bought a Dyna Fatbob and really enjoy it but I'm considering the Heritage Classic as I put bag and a shield on my Fatbob for longer trips. The new Fatbob is more aggressively styled, more upright seating & not really for bags and screen. However the Heritage doesn't have the dual disks and hence stopping power when loaded up may be an issue, I also wonder about the dark bottom half of the screen and losing site of the front wheel on small road pull-over situations as we have storm drains right at the side of the roads. As the heritage is more likely to attract load changes and two up tripsI wonder why Harley didn't put the side pre-load adjustment on the Heritage too, and also an option for traction control for wet weather riding (we have monsoon downpours that happen very quickly)? Your thoughts would be appreciated.
i really like the changes in this model. the blacked out look is great especially the wheels. i was never big on a lot of chrome, too gaudy for my taste. the bike has a more minimalist look, kind of late 50's early 60's cop bike. i like that. still got my 1980 flh all stock that i bought new. maybe time for a more modern upgrade. thnx for the info
Hey Matt great review thanks. I totally agree with you about the studs on the bags/seat. Is there an option to trade those out for just clean black bags from the dealer without having to purchase 750 dollar new one's? love this bike and want to buy one soon, but those studs are killing me.
I just bought the 2018 Heritage Classic Anniversary Edition. I read and watched several reviews prior to pulling the trigger since its winter here and the test ride is under a couple miles if you can even take it for one. Your review was really good. So thanks. I'm a gen x'er and think harley is moving to be more competitive with Indian. Long over due.
Would love to see the option of having a 107 or a 114 on the touring bikes for the 2019 model year. And also a choice between chrome or blacked out. I believe more choices are better to build the sales numbers back up for HD.
Mom got a 2017 last year, downsizing from a road glide to the heritage. This 2018 cam out and I demoed it for her, wow what a bike. I loved it, and now she has one on order. Mom is 69 and still riding hard for 43 years. I really like the power and handling of the new frame and the look is growing on me. I demoed the fat bob and expected to love it, but it didn’t ride as nice as the heritage. The suspension seemed stiff/ harsh compared to the heritage. Does the fat bob have different spec suspension? Stiffer spring rates maybe? It didn’t ride as good as my fxd, granted it has tricked out suspension. Thanks for the vids best on the tube.
Looks like a decent improvement over my stage 1 2004. I rode over 50K on long 2 up trips, that along with my 11 Dyna, Zoom bike. Both had great power. The only thing my old Heritage was really missing was that nice 6th gear OD. I'm kinda old school, so actually enjoy some vibes in my ride. I Found that the counterbalanced engines removed some of the character that I like...I grew up on 4 Spd Shovels, maybe that explains that. I only have a 30 inch inseam, so the Heritage fit me better than my 01 and 06 Road Glides. This looks like another fantastic bike for me, who knows...possibly a Pan America if it ever comes out this year....Nice vid!
I'm 5'10 , 180 pounds 27 yr old and I just finally bought one today, brand new ! Hard work pays off, can't wait for this weekend 😎🤙🏻🤙🏻
Just picked up my 2018 Heritage Classic 114th Anniversary edition today. Love this bike. My First Harley. Now I know why Harley is the best.
I am a 64 year old boomer and I bought the 2018 Heritage And I love it so far.
64 here and I love this bike. It is an improvement.
I like both the -2017 models and the 2018 models. Hands down, the new 2018 Heritage is a better ride for numerous reasons. Really leaning towards a 2018 model to add to the stable.
Young guys call the Heritage an old man’s bike. I’m 58 and about to get one. So, whatever.
I’m 42 and currently ride a ‘19 Lowrider. I’ll be trading for a Heritage this year.
I'm 5'6" 150# and just turned 69. I traded in my 2017 Street Glide special for a 2022 Heritage and just love it. This is the perfect bike for me for the rest of my riding life. Hopefully for a long time to come.
Best handling HD I have EVER rode. It takes corners effortlessly.
+Luther Khachigian II agreed!!
Luther Khachigian II yes I was surprised at how easy it is to ride I'm very happy with mine
I’m buying a 2019 heritage 114 today Thank you Matt Laidlaw!
Congrats man. You’ll enjoy that bike!
I love this bike!
It’s 08-08-2024 loved the video. Just bought this bike for $9500 with 4700 miles, gets delivered tomorrow. Can’t wait to ride.
Hey Matt, stop adding miles onto my future bike!! Lol!
Every time I have the thought "What about.." he answers it. Amazing. Thx from Canada :)
Thanks man. Glad I could answer all the questions.
Great report. Thank you for answering all my questions. Guess I'll have to stay with my RG. I hope HD realizes what an asset you are to them. You do all these you tubes, that help so many from all over the country.
whatabout usmvmc Thank you !
Glad I could help. Enjoy the new ride 👍🏻👍🏻
Keep the reviews coming

Thanks, i did not know the Heritage Classic existed until i saw your video on how to choose the right Harley.
Agreed with your review. Went and bought a 2018 Heritage Classic 114! Thanks
Excellent review. I'm in the heritage vs road king process now. It's tough, but I'm leaning heritage. Thank you for making this video.
I have done demo's on them all and I agree the Heritage was my favorite also. If I wasn't riding a Touring model it would be my choice! Ride Safe!
I always enjoy your videos, Matt. I live in New Jersey and ride a 2004 ElectraGide Classic. That new Heritage really caught my eye.
Thanks man. I appreciate the comment. I’m glad I could help out your decision. Thanks for watching.
My first Harley was a '12 Heritage...loved it! This '18 is an amazing update by HD. Another great review...thanks Matt :)
Thank you. Enjoy the bike man. You’re gonna love it.
As always, a fantastic review. I like the Heritage Softail since it's a bike I have interest in. Looking forward to the review of the HD Deluxe.
Baaaarriilliiiaaant. He did an update ? With a shot of no bags and screen , Nice one Matt. You da man !!!
Matt,
Thanks for doing this review.
This video is so helpful! I just brought one as my first bike and I can't wait to ride it! Thanks for making this video!
Thanks Matt. You really helped me to go with a Heritage.
Matt.you did well with your presentation .Keep on riding!
+rcud1 I’m tellin you! This thing is sick.
So comprehensive, and i like that you use a quality camera (well i dont know what you use but it has a good clear image). But such a good overview and even though you sell these you still give a balanced report.
Thank you. Thanks for watching.
I took out the adonica bike yesterday was awesome I actually thought it was better than my streak light on bumps have a 2018 it handles great what a motorcycle thanks for the video Matt take care
This has always been my favorite bike!
That industrial gray with the red trim is 🔥
Great review.
Awesome video. The comparison between the Heritage and the Road King, exactly what I was looking for. 👍👍
Absolutely the best and most informative reviews out there bar none. Take real pleasure in your reviews Matt. As I'm a Deluxe fan/rider, will you review the 18 model soon. Cheers from Australia
Tony Duman Thank you. I’ll review the deluxe next calendar year. In a couple months.
This is the most versatile of the new softail line, i better start saving as here in italy it's effing EXPENSIVE
one of my favourite models. Enough to update but not too much to ruffle feathers me thinks. Great work as always Matt.
I rode two today. A 114 First and a 107 right after. I am in love.
+John B Nice Man. Yea, the Heritage is legit this year.
I'm 60+ and I VASTLY prefer the new version. Road tested the 114 and loved it. Seriously considering getting one (It would be my first harley).
Hey Matt, what are your thoughts on the Heritage vs Sport Glide?
Cheers Matt. Loving the authenticity and wisdom. Great help :)
Turn offs:
The exhaust looks horrid all jacked up like they are.
Turn ons:
The shifting was nice and smooth.
But out of the new line up this is the best bike in my opinion. It's a cool looking cruiser and it screams for sure! Not hating on it at all, it's a sweet ride.
Thanks for the review!
Might trade my SGS for one of these.I’ll use it for longer trips and my CVO springer for shorter ones.Always liked the heritage.
I bought my 2022 Heritage 114 because of this video.
Every time I hear Matt say "crank through the canyons" like dude, I'm in south Louisiana there's no canyons lol
~ t.bone ~
T.BONE/SIDE OF LIFE thank you
One one of the older generation 66 yrs young,5'8" 170 lbs ,..I just traded my 2012 Ultra ltd.in on a 2018 Heritage 114 Ann. model....This will be my 8th Harley , love the blacked out look, 114 cubes ...ya...I still tour ,rode all the US states & Canadian provinces... Tired of that 900lbs + luggage... This bike is still heavy enough ...All boils down to preference ,riding style.and what you want ...Excellent video & description... Thanks Matt
Kickass video! Your presentation skills rock! 👍
Thanks Matt, awesome video. As a past FLSTC owner, one thing I do miss on the '18 is the short sissy bar and small luggage rack on back. Would be a must have parts addition to complete that bike. I bet that 114 is a beast! Love it!
+Dewayne Atwell Thanks for watching. Yea I think several people will miss the sissy bar
That bike in 115 Anniversary would be my favorite! Great vlog, thanks!!!
Thank you ! Yea that color is nice
Patxi del Norte that's the color I got. Blue stitching on the seat and the paint gets nothing but compliments.
Patxi del Norte b
Thanks for great review on this bike. This is going to be my next bike for sure!
Love the look of the solo tour pack. I'm 5'8 so I'd put in for a comfortable seat for shorties. Do riders ever request twin disc brakes on Heritages?
great review as always thanks Matt. thinking of changing my FB to a 2018 Heritage and this really helped
Remove the badging from the new HD Heritage and place it next to a Suzuki Blvd.C90T., and in my humble opinion, it would be hard to tell them apart. tcrs.
Same frame as the Suzuki too.
the suzuki is cheaper and a better bike
+steve perry cool. Thanks for watching.
Great video Matt. Good commentary and scenery.
Nice man. I absolutely love the Heritage this year. Enjoy the bike
A very good review. Much competence, no bs. It was very helpful for me. Keep on that excellent service. Greetings from Europe.
Would love to see the option of having a 107 or a 114 on the touring bikes for the 2019 model year. And also a choice between chrome or blacked out. I believe more choices are better to build the sales numbers back up for HD.
another great review Matt, you've got me thinking again...Heritage, Road King, Street Glide Special or CVO Street Glide???
John Ogden your lucky that your mother enjoys riding with you. What a fun way to share time together.
Hey, very solid review and thank you. I just recently sold my RGS and am now looking for something a little less beefy. This looks like a good idea.
