When you tour Riviera vessels they always come across as boats that have been designed by people who want to go out and use them, all the very practical things like alarms on the portholes that you would expect every builder to do, but they don’t , along with the storage, access, use of floor materials etc that you mentioned
Australia has some really rough conditions around it at times, they build boats their boats to CE A standards whereas most Euroboats of this size are CE B. But it comes at a cost. The Sunseeker and Princess coupés of this size are about a million and a half less than this - roughly speaking, equal specs, importation, etc., distorts prices. But Riviera are expensive boats even compared to the more expensive ends of the market.
I like the fact that you never edit the mistakes that’s why I love this channel. We are all humans and make mistakes and you remind me of that thank you
Nice review, thank you, Nick. Bit of information on the engines. The 645 SUV comes with two options: a) MAN V8 1300, 956kW, 1300 hp, b) MAN V12 1550, 1140kW, 1550 hp. This particular boat has the V12s (as can be seen at 16:29), so they are MAN V12 1550 (not 1300). HTH! ;)
Oh wow love the salon and galley, the central island is great, very different. They have really planned out the salon, galley and helm to use the space to the nest advantage. Love the furniture floor covering and wood used in the whole boat, it's practical and stylish for this type of boat. Nice engine room everything has it space the owner being able to get around. Love it, even if I'm not into fishing.
The ultimate family sports boat. There’s others more stylish, there’s faster ones, but the Riviera range always strike me as the best blend for family use and this one is certainly dialled up to 11! Love the boat, loved the tour.
you can always count on 2 things, really nice boats from Riviera, and a rather good time in the rain with Nick. thank you sir for the L0Ls. cheers from teXas.
Always love the Riveria SUV boats. You don't miss the flybridge, there is A TON of outdoor space(especially that bow section!!). Being lower profile, lower cg, less top heavy makes this more stable in rough seas. That stability isn't just a safety thing, makes the boat way more comfortable/usable if you aren't bobbing about the place when the seas are less than glass smooth.
Great video Nick, In a way this looks like the most luxurious fishing boat ever. Definitely something special. It's extremely functional and I could see myself swanning about on one.😃🏴
A very well orchestrated video as always. Lots of storage for 🥃 and 🥩 on this one! Really like the galley layout. This vessel is well designed throughout all areas. The editing was spot on! Many thanks. 🍷 🤗
I love Riviera's, I especially like the middle cockpit/lounge area they have. This as a nice flow and layout to it and I love the wood work throughout the boat. This is nice and spacious everywhere, great tour Nick thank you.
If you asked why they are called pigeon hole cabinets, it is because pigeons roost high and tend to be in pairs or small groups. Odd fact… actually I really like the boat, and that utility area is excellent, minus the bathroom. Unless you need a hiding space. Decent range for cruising, plus the get up and go for emergencies. Very very nice. Peace
That utility head could come in very useful for some of us. I've had my wife and son come home and accuse me of stinking up the bathroom. Thinking they were just being dramatic, I yelled back, "I haven't been in there for over two hours!" I checked and it still smelled. 🤢 😅
Riviera never fails to impress. I think I'd get rid of the head in the utility room and put a freezer there. Thanks for braving the elements, Nick, to get us on this beauty.
Build quality on these Riv's is outstanding and are proper blue water boats. Not cheap but you have to pay for the quality you get. I would feel alot safer on one of these than some other brands. Nice review Nick in not so nice weather👍
I am loving this baby! 75-85’ is my preferred range, so imagine my surprise at seeing 4 cabins and livable layout. The helm area looks like a lot of fun in which to hang out! One more observation: The tour’s pacing was just a bit slower, and more enjoyable, thanks to the boat show “rainout”.
Absolutely marvellous your videos I really enjoying it my favourite part so far is door into here is here absolutely brilliant your reviews are fantastic Nick please never change Them Thank you very much
Hi Nick, now thats a useful galley. Also its Australian and shows its credentials by having so many fish/bait boxes, the Ozzies love there fishing. Cheers fella.
Brilliant, I'm absolutely taken by the interior woods and well-thought-out décor in general. I would hope that a fly-bridge version is available. These new coastal sub 70' motor yachts are quite remarkable and becoming very sophisticated. I have it on High Authority that Noah had pigeons, I cannot say Noah had pigeon condos built for them, assuming the rafters to be a wonderfully extra warm place to roost. Historically, a bank of compartments on the wall and in writing desks were called pigeon holes as they resembled the stacked cages housing pigeons. I assume the etymology of that wording came from the 1700’s. Nick have a wonderful weekend!
Riviera are always impressive yachts, shame the day was moderately moist but non the less you, once again, managed a thorough and interesting tour. Well done Nick
That's a nice boat Nick and I hope your shoes weren't full of water when you retrieved them. That seat in the owners cabin looked uncomfortable; might be for tucking yourself away with a bad book, 😄
Hi Nick. No need for Steve to fend off the punters today.....oh dear. Great boat. You should get the lads to take you out for a spin sometime.... Cheers S
So close to my perfect boat, all it needs is another 500 gallons of fuel capacity and I could use it both as a looper boat and as a boat to leap frog from Florida to Bermuda to the Azores to Portugal to get to the Caribbean.
And to think that the Hiswa te Water (Lelystad NL), Northern Europe's largest in-water boat show, is currently taking place under summer conditions that you would actually expect where this beautiful Riviera is located. Sometimes things are good, sometimes clearly bad.
Pigeon Hole cabinets, often referred to just as pigeon holes, are space-efficient storage systems comprising an array of compartments or 'holes'. The design of these units draws inspiration from the pigeon cotes of yore, where each pigeon had its own dedicated space.
Manchester Umbrella make bespoke automatic umbrellas if you were thinking of getting Aquaholic ones made - they make ones for several of the UK prestige car brands too! (No connection, except as a satisfied customer)
Great video and even nicer boat Nick. I'm flummoxed however, you said that there was "...plenty of storage for pigeons". Now I'm wondering as to why pigeons would ever need storage? Unlike us humans, surely they can't carry that much stuff with them when they fly?
Pigeon locker , i looked up the origin , it's a boring and reasonably self explanatory name 😅 so i won't repeat it. Also, by definition the overhead lockers barely meet the definition of pigeon locker some may say it doesn't at all. And i didn't find any maritime connection. That being said, they built a fine vessel and can call the lockers anything they want, especially since most lockers we see on boats don't have locks.😅 Very nice Riv Nick , good work 👍
Anyone who saw the video 3 days ago with the Pearl yacht may be a little confused about the price differences. The Pearl 72 is built in China with a final production from Pearl in the UK.
As of August 31, 2024, there has NEVER been a walkthrough video of a Nordhavn 625. Never. There are a few meaningless videos ie; commissioning, launch, arrival, and even a 'virtual walkthru'. Please be numero uno! Cheers
I really enjoy your videos! Have seen many luxury yachts in Hvar when I used to go. Would be interested in seeing your watch collection. Also, any plans for your 1,000th video?
With the weather like this, are you able to take more tours of the vessels? Rather, you film or not, or do the yachts stop the tours during the heavy rain? It'd be nice if you could even if you couldn't film, just time to yourself and enjoy their beauty😊 Another well-done video,Sir. Gets some hot tea so you stay well😊😊😊
I love the "coupe" type boats. Seems like they wasted allot of space to have a two tier cockpit on the rear. I"d rather have a bigger salon and kitchen area. That's allot of motor for that size boat. Wow.
My mistake, but from the title I got confused and thought you were showing us a Riva yacht. You can imagine my surprise when you first showed us the back of the boat. My bad 😆
Riviera Super yachts are very luxurious smart but this particular model is well over-priced compared to some of the other boat competitors. Does not really have that wow x-factor like a Pearl super yacht has but depends on personal choice. God bless you buddy, ciao from very sunny and hot over 37 degrees here in Italy 🇮🇹 xxx
That utility area is in a funny spot also the toilet there is a waste of valuable space if your not using it as a crew cabin. Strange layout throughout really.

Absolutely one of my favorites from Riviera, this model. So versatile and accommodating , even without a fly bridge. Just lovely.
3:45 WOW! Just love the center island to be able to pass through instead of a usual L-shape that someone gets "stuck" in. Great boat for a family!
Wow, what a great idea, putting the bar across from the drivers seat, very... convenient
Thanks for braving the weather to share this with us, a nice boat.
Nice review, thank you, Nick.

Glad you like it!
I really like this one. It's deceptively roomy and functional.
If you asked why they are called pigeon hole cabinets, it is because pigeons roost high and tend to be in pairs or small groups. Ideal pantry/food storage area for sure!
What a lovely well thought out boat and that helm is stunning.

Such high quality Riviera, and superb sea worthiness , highly sought after always regardless of age, wish I could afford one
A great Aussie Riviera. Fantastic boat and video. Excellent quality from Riviera. 🇦🇺 😊
Lovely sport fisher yacht with lots and lots of beautiful wood 😁Oh, and those meaty engines must sound nice😀Thanks for the tour 😊
Kind of like the weather change on this one. Nice to see the enclosed porch working!
What a beautiful ship! Thanks for the tour, Nick! Have a great weekend!
Thanks, you too!
thanks Nick I think that's one of the nicest helms I've seen in quite some time

Hey Nick, Loved the tour. Looks like a fun boat for cruising and adventures. I loved the indoor/outdoor area!

Nice boat. I could live on this easily. Thanks, Nick!

Beautiful boat and excellent video Nick ⛵️🛥🚤👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏

A very nicely designed boat and a great tour as always. I could notice you stalling towards the end when it was time to go outside though 😂

A navigator seat with a built-in bar! All right dear, I don't need to drive I'll just be over here looking at some maps...
Nice Nick, nice !! 👌👌👌👌

No problem!
Lovely quality tables, not those rough basic ones you see on other multi million dollar vessels Nick presents...
Thanks , great range at a lower speed .
Wonder how big the fuel tanks are ?
Very well organised , woodwork is stunning .

Not really - I've only just noticed!
Love how you can cook at the sink and talk to the guests 😂😂😂😂
Pidgeon lockers - space efficient lockers along the lines of a Pidgeon loft where each bird has it's own space.
They are pigeon boxes because they mimic pigeon cages where they are housed in small boxes hence you don’t want to get pigeon holed
Best yacht ever..I want one
There called pigeon lockers because when you have racing pigeons they kept in cages that open that way
I wish you would talk about safety on the different yachts.
Really like the galley.
If you had to choose, Furuno or Garmin?
Happy Friday nick 🎉

As you can see, I can still film them. It just doesn't look at good. 🙂
@AQUAHOLIC I thought filming was by appointment only, so you could get good footage and not have people in the way of filming.
Very nice Nick, but wow, that price is a bit sporty...
I'll just have 2 👍😆
Are you going to Cannes this year , We are 5here on the Tuesday , say hello or I will . Great videos .😎
