As an owner operator, that engine room access from the master cabin is one of the best features of this yacht in my opinion. Wish more luxury yacht manufacturers would offer that layout.
Yachts don't have a set price because they are so configurable and customisable. Even base prices are poor judges. If you have 2 yachts of the same size/type and one is a lot cheaper than the other, is that good? What if the more expensive one has a lot of "options" that you deem essential (air con, genset, gyro, whatever) and once added on the cheaper boat becomes more expensive? I like Aquaholic's pricing guidelines but he can get away with that because he is a literal amateur doing a blog. Yes I know he has magazine experience but he's not currently working for them. BoatTEST is seen as industry reliable... so it really should be numbers-accurate and that's difficult to do with shady shipyards.

would like to see an economy fuel burn at say 8 knots. I mean say you had to transit a little longer and didnt want to carry drums of diesel on the stern.
Am I the only one who notices that’s really weird that even though NMPG goes down, the RANGE increases?!? I’ve noticed that for a few videos now Seems somebody needs to redo their maths on that one… Wish my car worked like that 🙄🤪
It's strange and something I've noticed also. You'd think as GPH drops NMPG would go up at least slightly. I suppose if you can afford one of these boats your good at numbers and making them work the way you want them too 🙂
I think it's an error in the graphic. Verbally Capt. Steve says that the consumption stays constant until it drops off plane, so I think it is meant to read .3 nmpg.
Bad helm design. I go out on my own so not being able to access those screens is a problem. Surprised Riviera never thought that one through. Even if your partner is with you, they don't want to be forced to sit at the helm the whole trip.
@@daniellemus858 Yep, I do it quite often. Not that difficult these days with all the tech and remote docking. It makes it a lot harder when the screens are so far away. It would have been so easy to put the out of reach screens on a swivel to create a wrap around helm. It's been done before. Also while I'm skippering underway with my partner, she doesn't want to be tied to the helm as an observer. She likes to do other things like food prep, read a book and other things. Short sighted of Riviera ... pardon the pun.

That is one of the better looking yachts I've ever seen.
If I ever hit mega millions This is First thing I’m going to buy
Awesome video, awesome boat! I can’t wait for the feature video, Captain Steve!
these look soooo intimidating. i love it. seems theyre truly up to the task as well
i really like riviera boats. good breakdown.
We have tested so many Riviera boats please check them out when you can:boattest.com/boats/riviera-yachts
Great presentation! small typo on the beam size, looking a the metric value....
Lovely yacht Capt Steve...Hope your doing a Features Video too ;-)
I am glad captain hammer toes kept his socks on !
Is the crew cabin accessed through the master cabin?!?!!?
what about tiara/cruisers yacts(cantius)/prestige/azimut?
Capt Steve, can you add retail price in your reviews?

The best boat ever
I'm curious about the range at troller speeds
Lekker man lekker 🇿🇦
Beautiful
What about the state rooms and other areas?
MSRP would be nice?
Steve, perhaps every boat you review you can tell your viewers how much is the price of the boat
lol

No flip down footrests for the passengers is a weird oversight. You just sit there swinging your feel like a kid on a big toilet seat??
Riviera I like... but it HAS to be the top-end Belize range.
is there a 240 volt version?
Asking the important questions, fo sho!
because this is an australian brand there is for shure a 240V Version, not to say 240 is Standard
I personally really do not like the helm layout. But if you can afford this boat you probably aren't captaining it anyway
Not really true. Most owners are owner operators. You can change the helm layout when you build your boat, though
This is DEFINTIELY predominantly owner-operator size.
What's your favorite yacht captain Steve? ✅

Going out alone on a 69ft yacht?

Not seeing all the screens is okay. Too many screens at the helm nowadays that take away from the attention on the sea.
Poorly designed helm and galley. Significant improvements were made with the new 585 SUV.
