Hi Alvaro, I love the AG915, and I can feel your enthusiasm for it. I have a SEL fixed wing certificate and a Rotorcraft-Helicopter certificate. Flying airplanes is like flying on a freeway to get somewhere. Flying helicopters is incredible, but very hard to hover, super expensive, and wears you out. Gyroplanes are very safe, (I believe) very easy to fly, let you fly low and slow to enjoy the view, let you takeoff and land in short grass fields, and let you do it (relatively) cheaply.
My wish list for such a gyro is: Safety- wide landing gear. strong pre-rotation for short takeoff. great visibility. strong pitch control. strong yaw control. hard to overgross. the flight duration is longer than my bladder. The cabin is protection in a crash. Comfort- I am protected from the elements.I have heat, and cooling air. I have shoulder room, and a comfortable seat. The stick doesn't shake my hand numb. I can get in and out without climbing and contorting. Reliability- I know its not going to fall apart and the engine is strong enough and reliable, and can handle altitude.
Your gyro design meets all of my wish list. Your tweaking of this design is excellent.
Practice more on your English pronunciation, and get your wife in there more often. Keep talking about all of these features, get more Go Pro videos showing it flying from the outside, and let everyone SEE it is FUN, not stressful to fly it.
I am hoping that I will be able to afford one someday soon.
There is NOTHING in Colorado to learn to fly gyros. Maybe I could have you teach me in FL someday?
Keep it up Alvaro, and live your dream.
