- This update has some very critical graphics enhancement for all characters Genshin Impact has ever released so far! We get some more artifact loadout features as well as some much needed daily commission features.

Great change. I really dislike gacha games for putting voice lines in a menu which has no relevance to gameplay or immersion.

My flex is that I have "Snezhnaya does not believe in tears" achievements done before FINALLY this game will give you achievement-related dailies more frequently. I still have several unfinished mondstadt achievements even though I'm playing since 1.1
I've been playing since 1.0, and I still can't get that Goodwind achievement yet... 😢
@@mandasantoso Set your dailies to mondstadt for a month until you get it. If you don't get anything, try another region, as surely you don't have ALL the other achievements from their dailies yet.

same i started in 1.0 and somehow managed to dodge every getting the surprise gift mondstadt commission. finally i got it today after the change. problem is i have to get it 3 more times to do the other versions, but it shouldn't be too much of a problem with the new change.

I might be a minority here, but I LOVE saving new teams for characters people don't usually use. So I really appreciate this change.
Same. I love having different niche groups for when I'm feeling a kind of way. Whats the point of having all of these characters if they are all going to have Furina/Bennett/Raiden in them, or whomever.
I love having different ones for different purposes like friendship team, exploration team, a team to counter each type of element, etc and i had ran out of slots long ago
@@EdenVixSame! In fact I'd say these days I spend most of my time playing as my "friendship" team, which often does add some challenge to the overworld that it otherwise wouldn't have. When Fontaine came out with it's characters I overwrote some of my old teams, so i'm looking forward to getting some of those remade.
I don’t really know what to do with so many slots, I might make one or two funny comps but I’ll mainly use my one good team 😆😅
@@Celestial-yq6hzI'm a bit of a dolphin, so I tend to have a lot of characters. I love games with lots of playable characters, and I like to switch between them when the mood takes me. It's not very practical, but it does make me glad they added some more slots.

Hopefully it’s the same for those who have a world quest attached to it 😭. I’m still stuck with the Gourmet one in Inazuma and it’s the last quest to complete the list in the region
I'm a day 1 player with For the Love of Godwing at 0/5 :D, overall I'm just missing 3 achievemets from Mond, 3 from Liyue (2 recently added) 1 in Sumeru and 1 in Fontaine.
Already felt this change today, giving 1 of the 2 commissions I was missing from Sumeru where I was farming comissions since 4.1.
I noticed something, there is the westernmost area of Chenyu Vale (almost at the border with Fontaine) that is located DIRECTLY underneath celestia… We’re getting closer
I was just running around trying to get tp points when I noticed that. Freaked me out for a second, since I can still remember the first time I actually noticed it moved in the sky, all those years ago

Fr, though I do have a problem with the fact that I wasn't able to add spaces on the Search bar. Like, was trying to find a specific "-City of Wisdom" furniture but could only type 1 word://
Being able to see what friendship level in the teapot is such a big thing for me. Lately I've been putting a lot of new people in there and it's so hard to know who I had already maxed and who wasn't. I'm so happy it's finally here.
Sameee this will save so much time compared to having to open my character list, sort by friendship, and remember who I already have out in the teapot already
I know people saying that isn't the loadout they want, but the custom configuration is so useful.

Liyue OST is so relaxing, i think it matches the chill vibes that this vídeo has, Chenyu Vale is definely my favorite thing about this update i have been seeing some really cool places while exploring!!

Finally Borderless Full Screen is going to make OBS recording so much smoother now.

Waiting for hoyo to make a plain pond furniture (or if it has now,i want to know where) . It'll be a life changer for teapot designers since ive seen them clipping wells and others that has water in it.

2:50 No, just press the button that says "All artifacts" Also, aside from main stats for Sands, Goblet, and Circlet, you can select multiple entries for everything. You don't have to sort by just one stat. The Primary Affix and Seconday Affix can search for 3 stats each, it's a priority search, not 1 and 2, like we used to have.

These are some nice QoL features. The one thing I wish they'd add is the ability to add tags (preferably multiple) to artifacts. Ex: I could tag pieces as "Raiden Main DPS" and then search or auto-equip based on that tag if I want to swap some pieces between different characters. Bonus points if I could tag them in the domain rewards screen, so I can just tag stuff as "trash" or "potentially good" instead of having to sort through it all later.
Ooohh, that's actually a nice alternative to having loadouts. Pretty much the same principle. I'd like that better than the one they implemented right now.

Also, it was nice to see they improved the sitting animation for young male model characters; their hands don't hover awkwardly anymore; I couldn't tell if other character models had changes, though, or if it was just the young males

Nevermind, disregard what I said about the sitting animation lmao; it's only Ga-ming who sits normally, not all of the male characters;
I swear I tried it with Freminet, too, on a small hill while exploring the new area, and it looked fixed, but I checked again earlier (at a different place) and that wasn't the case, so idk

The voiceline from wishing is actually an old feature that they bring back. I played around 1.1 and I still remember they have voiceline when I first got Noelle and Sucrose from Beginner banner.
For the model updates, I have noticed that although the curves are smoother, there is more aliasing if you zoom in

I just wanna check how much they improved it, cuz they said they improved the rate of comissions with achievements at least once and I saw no improvement, this would be the second time (or even third time cuz I barely remember) already
1:51 more specifically the 4.3 "fullscreen" mode was actually borderless, while now in 4.4 you have a choice between native fullscreen and dxgi flip model borderless - a borderless mode that suffers no performarnce drawbacks or stuttering compared to regular borderless
Mihoyo are going crazy with their quality of life changes recently. So good to see them streamline the game at last

Bro, i am so tired switching artifact pieces one by one between my full EM Raiden build and Hypercarry Raiden build.
And then i also have Bloom Driver Kokomi build and Healer Kokomi build.
I also have Burgeon Thoma build and Shieldbot Thoma build.
Where is the quality of life changes that are TRULY useful?

NAME fucking one that isnt just a visual upgrade like everything about artifacts has been and leveling system.
Artifacts allready allready had the options to choose what type you wanted same whit hp% etc JUST A VISUAL UPDATE(not an upgrade when they make it look worse).Same whit the monster tracker allready had the time dsiplayed and what category of monster another ONLY VISUAL UPDATE(same whit the artifact system has made it look uglier).OHH dont forget them plastering their new ugly sorting system to housing aswell

I didn't notice before that characters didn't talk when they were summoned. I DID notice Xianyun talking constantly and mute my TV though...

I haven't played genshin for almost a year and i decided to come back for lantern rite. NGL i was shocked seeing all these QoL updates, and getting gaming for the first time shocked me so much. Like, they finally addeed voice lines when pulling, i've been waiting for this for soooo long.

Wow so cool. Very cool changes made by Hoyo now that I already have most of the characters I like, have spent ages finding the right furniture to finish building my teapot, have had to get out of the menu again and again to check if my characters were Friendship level 10 before putting them in teapot.

Yea, I tried to explain to others why they probably will never implement it correctly until the game is in long term maintenance as a player retention feature.
Although the quick setup is genuinely useful for players who don't know what they're doing and there's a lot of them.
It's actually pretty good! You can choose your own artifacts and save it for that character. Sadly, there aren't multiple presets, but it's definitely an upgrade for me.
I’m like half-happy half-annoyed about this feature. On one hand, it’s great for players who don’t know much about building characters, on the other, I wish there was an option to select artifacts that were already equipped, and to multi-select different artifacts and pass them around characters. Even just one button to automatically let a character unequip all 5 artifacts would be a godsend. I love this game and have no intention of stopping playing it, but I hate how it edges me so much for the bare minimum QoL.

@@analyticaltomatothey suck at it though, instead of actually calc what the best artifact for your character like genshin optimizer do they instead use the most popular set used by active player and because more than half the community is pretty casual they don't then to gear their unit properly, i try it on my hu tao and they give her 0 em 💀
The higher probability of important commission is really amazing cuz I was doing Mondstadts commissions to complete Whispers of the Wind and immediately after the update I got the quest twice and finally got the achievement

Borderless mode let's goooooo!! I have put this as my top issue in surveys for about a year! The commission achievement thing is also really nice. We can finally get the ones that we missed.
I'm so happy about dynamic res, i'd still prefere if they made higher poly models tho. Also I'm not sure why they added a button to tell us to go to katheryne instead of letting us claim it directly from the menu. The quick aritfact equip is cool but I would've liked if I could've told it for example min 75% cr 200 er etc.
Adding voicelines when getting a character from Wish gives a sweet taste.
Not sure everyone noticed this but now our characters will make breathing noise constantly when we use the jump run technique to go around, and also when climbing up

The "dynamic high-resolution" looks simply using more triangles for geometry.
