To have zero ego and be so humble like these two professionals display is inspiring. You can tell Cena likes Sheamus. I can’t see John allowing just anyone to film and train there. Two legends. Humble and smart. From an Australian. Cheers boys. Seek comfort in discomfort
The thing I love about this channel is that it shows that even the pros and jacked beasts such as Sheamus and Cena still learn in the gym and are open to trying new things. It makes having the patience and motivation in the gym way easier. Keep up the great work
Such a down to earth guy sheamus is. He's still liking comments. Most of the celebs don't even bother. But sheamus does. This is what connects with people. Wish you all the success in the coming years
Cena is an example of profesionalism and discipline and Sheamus as always watching you breaking comfort zones and trying new workouts is very motivational.
It’s amazing to see Sheamus being coached. As big and strong as he is and still being coached like it’s his first day ever working out (AND HE STRETCHED WITH CENA AND THAT ITSELF IS A WORKOUT) it goes to show that anybody who works out doesn’t know everything and they can always learn and improve
Watch the episode he recently did with the high flying, high flipping, Jiu Jitsu, splits stretching beast....Jujimufu (Jon Call)! Sheamus is nothing like his in-ring personna, in that he KNOWS their are things he can learn from athletes from all sorts of Sports.....including females. Another great video is 1 on Jeff Cavalier's channel, where Sheamus along with Cesaro go through a workout with Jeff...great stuff.....no better Pro Trainer than Jeff C!
Sheamus obviously hasn't done Olympic lifting before. So how would he know anything about it? Weightlifting to get big is nothing to do with Olympic lifting. You can get huge and never do an Oly lift.
Because Olympic lifts are all about technique, and are coached and learnt mostly from a young age. Doesn't matter how big or strong you think you are, if you don't use the right techniques to get the weight up, you'll do yourself an injury, even with light weights. Think of it like a sport. A professional footballer (soccer player) couldn't just go and play rugby or vice versa.
There’s nothing more impressive than watching someone make the choice to be a lifelong learner. To put ego aside and say, “Can you show me how you have become successful”. It sounds easy, but for most people they struggle to break away from their own habits and rituals. Kudos to you sir.
These Workout Vids are sick because it shows even the top athletes aren't amazing at every single thing in the gym and are still learning. Good Stuff Guys!
John grew up doing Olympic lifts. Football lifts are: squat , powerclean, deadlifts and snatch. Those are essential for football and ofcourse you need to be able to bench press too. But Olympic lifts strongly correlate with football training and he played in high school and college so his technique is top- notch cus he’s been doing them his entire life
WADE Ja actually John did football for a very long time which makes him an Athlete and he is in many movies which does make him an actor he also has a new movie coming
What I was thinking. Cena could easily just do more aesthetic stuff to stay looking good since he doesn’t have to work much anymore and just looking to do more acting. Instead, he works on snatches which he’s clearly still working on.
You can really tell this is John's way of meditation. His workouts are very mentally driven, he's calm, collected and focused. Thanks for sharing this vid!
What Cena said about split focus was so important, the mind needs to be involved in the workout too. Shit ton of respect for both of you! Cheers to The Great White!
