if you watch it again the truck was lifted on a jack or a cart when Kitt pushed it and backed up the truck tire moved and the truck did not move ,, if the car would have pushed it for real the nose of the car would have busted up ..but looked great in the show ..
Michael and KITT are not the type of dynamic duo that bad guys should be provoking. While they will not take the life of their attackers / providers they will however at least if necessary put them into a world of hurt / humiliation
