This stuff seem so complicated even though I’ve been using photoshop for years. But it’s so cool. It amazing me what you can think of. I know I definitely can’t think of this to do on my own. lol

Because the complicated thing is not about how to do. It’s when to do it. When is it the right situation to do masking techniques like this one to my own photos. That’s the thing. I can follow a all the tutorials. But guessing or knowing when to apply the technique in certain situations on your own photos is the thing. Knowing when it’s necessary or needed is the complicated thing with all these masking techniques I hate to learn. Because it’s not simple. It always feels complicated. These types of things hold me back from wanting to apply for photo editing and retouching jobs now. Even though it’s big bucks in that. I never felt confident with programs like photoshop because of it. I felt it was one of my limitations in my mind I can never overcome or have a very difficult time overcoming. Especially trying to do it on my own. Can’t do everything on your own though.

@@madant22 I use to feel the same way. It just takes trying things out. I am good for not trying things out. What brought me to do this was this client was a paying one LOL. I had to figure out what exactly to do. It took some trial and error but eventual I found a workflow.
