If I remember correctly there is another ending which is when the advisor is talking to you, don't kill the advisor and something happens, I haven't seen that specific ending, but I've heard something like that on one of the devs streams.

Well actually.. despite the cotton and polyester materials that the pants are more than likely made out of being yes technically dead organic material.. and the flesh from the severed waist is in fact composing of necrotic and dead material.. they are in fact very much alive! You see within every single fiber of the pants are bacteria.. trillions of bacteria! And on top of that fungus that has scraped or landed in a journey that could go as far back as to even when the flesh that they in case was alive and part of a larger organism!
In addition to which as the bacteria and fungi break down the various materials.. it will also attract and potentially become home to all manner of insect or xenophona using both the material as shelter and also as food.. there's nothing that many of species of fly would rather have than a decaying soft and nutritious home in which to burrow within and lay their eggs and when their eggs hatch.. their children will be provided with the bounty that is Justin! On the note of being naked & frozen to death: That's pretty common. The reason is, once you get close to freezing to death, you start to feel like you're burning alive, hence a lot of people when they freeze to death, strip ironically enough.
Has a fun name: "Paradoxical Undressing"

The reason why Wilson disappeared is becasuse you accidentaly put Wilson into that machine beside the ladder and it transported him trough the tubes thats why there was the big x on the ground, otherwise great video.
There was a earlier segment they could have used the tube too right before the urban combat segment to not have to drag him around with you

There are extra scenes AFTER the credits, depending on the ending.
Bringing Wilson and not killing the advisor changes the after credit ending a teeny tiny bit.

In regards to the whole thing of combine using almost exclusively human weaponry; it’s because it’s both easier to manufacture using the existing infrastructure and materials, and it avoids the rebels getting advanced weaponry. The only weapon the combine get from their own supplies is the AR2

The turkey crabs are based off the hl1 head crabs because they’re mainly used for any zombies teleported by the xen grenades and have the eyes on the og head crabs which shows incredible attention to detail

As far as mods go, this is pretty top tier. Though it's got bugs, sometimes the level design is unclear ( sometimes I got stuck and didn't know where to even go), and in this play-through there were a lot of crashes. I'd say the old Source physics jank is holding it back too, especially with doors closing when you're trying to fit Wilson through them, it conks out way too much and it's not rare to get him stuck.
On the whole it's very creative, lore is very intriguing with it taking place around episode 2 and beyond, and it's got a lot of variety with puzzles that it did earnestly feel like half life in spirit.

I love this mod, and personally I believe that this (outside of a few nit picks) makes this feel like half life 2's version of opposing force. It's not perfect, like that one platform lifted by a crane doesn't make sense and the Mossman and radio guy dialogue isn't too great. Wilson and Aiden walker aka 3650 interactions are so fun. Obviously it does the clique of half-life mods of making the borealis a key part in the story, but it's clever to use it and tell a completely unique perspective of a combine elite. It's not perfect, nothing is but you can tell it was made with thought, care and skill. So even if it isn't on par with Black Mesa, it's still a good story. 9.6/10
