It's sort of a reference of a reference actually.
In a really old video I did I said it as a reference to Klay World, but then at some point we started saying it as a reference to my video and not Klay World itself.

I think the reason for the marines in between the boxes and soda machines in that randomizer is because those are spawn points for the cockroaches seen throughout "We've Got Hostiles!" which is why they kept respawning.
