I was born in Fredericton, New Brunswick. I'm not panicking either. We're doing all that's humanly possible. As of midnight tonight, our Gov. here in Michigan has declared that unless it's of utmost importance, people need to stay home. I work at a local grocery store (Meijer) and since we're essential we will stay open from 8 am to 10 pm (we are usually open 24 hours). So we will see if people actually follow the governor's orders.
Time to go home!! And don't wait to buy your groceries once you reach home! Buy it on the way and especially if you are going to use non common routes you may see stores which are not so empty!! Stay safe!! God bless you!

I think I would do the same, I would go home, even though the situation in the USA is worse than here in Canada. You are probably safer here but you will be more comfortable at home. As long as you stay in quarantine in your house, I guess you will feel better there than dragging five children around a foreign country.
