I get the recent aesthetic preference for the gum only on the bottom, but this all-gum sole has a lot of skate culture history, so it makes perfect sense given the target demographic. This shoe brings me straight back to my 2000s DC/Etnies days. Definitely a sleeper of 2024.

Does anyone know if it’s just the orange label sb’s that come with the extra laces. I remember when every pair of sb’s came with extra laces. The white/gum and black gum did not come with extra laces. Hopefully someone can help me out.
I like the pair. I think the fact that it's not suede is what is throwing people off too. It's all leather. We're used to seeing suede or nubuck. And the leather looks a bit on the stiff side. It might take a little bit of time to break in. I am glad Nike provided white laces. I wish they gave us orange laces too. But the white definitely makes the shoes stand out a bit more. Love this colourway getting the blazer version Friday can't quite stretch to dunk prices this week. On my ever growing list of shit I want. My friend says the gum looks crap. I said you can't buy taste bro. For those who don't know sb is just more durable as a whole and orange label is better still i have some lovely quality sbs for cheap Mason silva blazer i paid 45 UK grant Taylor the black mid i paid 60uk. Getting the blazer version of this exact colourway for 63uk. Even the tshirts are slightly thicker sb for the win. I don't even skate today too old. More my health than age, tbh.
Just copped this just to match my new jeans with a very extreme washed light grey color . White gum looks too white and black gum looks too black with this jeans. This navy with the brown outsole will be a nice balance. Nike running a 25%+ 35% off this shoe in my country now, no brainner for me. I have the J-pack "chicago" sb as well as green "celtic" j-pack sb too, but there are times when i do want my sneaker to not pop , so this navy gum might comes in handy. Yeah, that white lace swap is mandatory.
