What you have accomplished is exactly what we wanted to do when I retired but didnt have the nerve to do it. Excellent video. Congratulations on a job well done and memories for a lifetime.

I knew it must be some Slavic country (or at least Slavic craftsman that did it) that uses Latin letters when I saw "vzorec" during tiling. 🙂 Nice work.
Shouldn’t you have started the roofing at the bottom and worked your way to the top? I think that would have worked better so there is no nails showing

It’s a new construction style invented in Canada and is being used more around the world. It’s basically where Lincoln Logs and LEGO meet. The groved lumber is weather treated, durable and is relaxed with expansion and contraction during seasons or in various climates whether wet or dry. Most of all, this construction method is strong and made to last.
I dont understand why you choose to build a ''block on block'' frame if it's to hide it....such a waste of wood vs a normal house frame. Otherwise it's a amazing job!
Yeah im lost why you put the external timber on a log cabin style house just hides the workmanship could of just built a frame in half the time and less work i mean what built is solid but so is well build frame and easier to wire plumb and insulat
splendid work that here in Italy would be impossible to carry out due to the absolute non-compliance with every rule relating to safety in the workplace. as long as you don't decide to defy the law which in cases like these is very severe and provides for the confiscation and destruction of what has been achieved.
