My friend from Ireland calls it St. Paddy’s Day. I also researched it before making this video just to be certain (as I’m not Irish) and it’s not considered derogatory.
No it’s not. My grandfather was born & raised in Ireland & it’s not derogatory. Some people might choose to get offended by it but I’ve never met any actual Irish person who doesn’t call it that! Patty (or Paddy) is a very common nickname for the name Patrick & frankly, most Irish didn’t necessarily “celebrate” St. Patrick’s Day until fairly recently. It used to be kind of a day of remembrance not necessarily celebration. Americans actually turned it into the green beer drinking party we all associate it with now in like the 50’s or 60’s, & only Catholics used to even really acknowledge it. Most Irish people don’t even get offended by the leprechauns & rainbows.
Very nice. In my daughter's words. How Pretty.❤❤🎉🎉
When I see gloves used, I hit the like button 🙌
