What a great presentation of this resort. We travel to Playa del Carmen 3 times a year and stay in the Playacar area so we can ride bikes to 5th Avenue. Love, love Mexico, our second home!
We stayed there November of 2020 we had a great time the South reserve area the building was closed but the adult only pool was opened down there with the swim up bar and the LA palapa grill restaurant there open during the day and had its own private walkway to the beach, we had a great time. We didn't check out the water park, but will do so next time. 🏝
Absolutely beautiful and amazing. We enjoyed our one week stay. Everything what’s you see here absolutely amazing. Good service good food. I think will be coming back.

Looks awesome!!! It’s weird that u have to pick up mini bar items. The chairs in the theatre are like they are at church at the mo. The onli way a buffet can be done at the mo is if they serve u. I’ve had a coffee on the beach but would enjoy a smoothie on the beach.
I’m loving traveling vicariously through y’all! Love seeing the beautiful resorts. Since the capacity is so low do they do any free room upgrades or anything like that?
Thanks for the review. We are going in July and are pretty excited. I have a couple of questions if you don't mind: Do you need to convert money while at the resort or do they take dollars vs pesos? What about surrounding areas? Also, in a previous video you mentioned etransfers- what are your thoughts on the transfer vs renting a car? Thanks!
USD is accepted, we have never gotten pesos. It is a 15 minute taxi ride to 5th Avenue and definitely worth the trip!! I personally would never rent a car in Mexico as it seems like too much hassle and the laws being different than the US. We have used eTransfers on each of our trips and do recommend them

you really don't want all inclusive unless there are not any dining options available where you're staying. For example, don't do all inclusive in Aruba or Cabo because the food at the restaurants are 1000X better and cheaper.

You do realize she’s a Travel agent doing her job. Instead of putting them down for doing their Job you should be praising them for working and putting content out. The Travel industry has been one of the hardest hit industry’s. Good for them being able to continue to enjoy a beautiful resort during a pandemic. We’ve all got to keep on keeping on.

2 years ago we were there for Thanksgiving place is very nice. We brought koi food and fed the turtles.

If you want a pretty good resort water park, Beaches in Turks and Caicos has a very fun one!

We were there early when travel was resuming and everything shut down early. I think as capacity increases times will get later.

That is tough as we really liked them all! But we would go back to UNICO and Margaritaville in a heartbeat.

The resorts in PDC have more space and are more spread out.
Did the hotel offer covid tests for return to the US?
Yes most resorts do as a courtesy.
What is the pool temperatures?
The water is warmed by the sun so it is warmer during the day from when the sun starts to set. It was chilly when we got it.
How much is included with all inclusive?
Pretty much everything! All of your food and drinks (including alcohol) plus all of the onsite activities (pools, water parks, snorkeling, etc)
