What other friendly, good beach, good buffet all inclusive family resort would you suggest. Booked for this December and these r extremely important elements for all 5 of us. Also, very good for kids under 5 yrs and younger. Thanks.

Just got back from our 2nd week in the past year with our family of 5. Kids 15, 9 and 8. Easily their favorite place of all the resorts and places we've traveled in the US and Europe over the past decade. Yes the buffet is just OK if you're looking for a 5 star adult experience, but for kids its like Christmas every day. Which works amazing for us because at this price point, you don't feel guilty about going down to 5th avenue or inland to eat at some of the incredible restaurants like Porfirios. The other restaurants onsite are incredible, like shockingly good honestly. I would strongly consider not taking this off your list.
Hi! We just booked at Playa Del Carmen. I’m hoping you can help me with a question - are the restaurants like Flora and BA, included in the all inclusive or is the dinner an additional charge?
If ocean matters for you, this is not the resort. The ocean in this resort just horrible. Super hard to book any reservations, we were paying bartender to make the hibachi for us, I don’t know how he did, but we got in there, otherwise it was booked though the whole time.
The beach was not horrible, it just depends what time of year you go as all of the area experiences sargasso. And yes check my food video for tips on making reservations.

They are included but you need a reservation so make sure you do that from your first day :)
