Tech in 2023 is dope .. Davinci has a smiliar "Voice Isolation" works very well
It sure is! I haven't tried using it in Resolve yet...
@@carlosq00 The voice isolation in Resolve is a great tool, I have used it. Alot of the times I have to turn it down as it is so powerful to get the right mix of voice to background noise.
Been using it in the Beta version in Premiere Pro. It kicks ass. I do "Enhance Audio" and then Multi-band Compressor set to broadcast. It's been a life saver! I've actually went back on some older videos and fixed the weak audio. Nice!!

Beta. But it kicks ass. Sound/dialogue/Enhance Voice. I went from not enjoying any form of audio (it's a real skill) to knowing I can fix almost anything now. Still a little bit digital sounding. I bought some Hollyland mics that have sound dampening and the tech isn't there yet. Sounds like you're talking into an empty coffee can. Audio engineers gotta be like, oh crap. Just like so many other skills in life. BUT, they'll never step on or stop creative thinking. @@carlosq00

This is pretty amazing and I imagine the technology will only get better. The only thing that I noticed that seemed out of place was in your mall shot. It seemed to completely remove all ambient noise and so it sounded a bit strange to ONLY hear your voice, I think adding back in a tiny bit of that ambience helps you place yourself in that scene a bit more. I'm assuming there are ways to adjust that?
I agree with you and yes there are ways of choosing how much of the processing is applied. It's a slider so super easy to use.

Can you adjust the degree which you remove all background noise? It sounds like ADR on a few examples
yes you can, the software has a slider that allow you to select the intensity of the effects

Yes, you can decide how much to keep with a slider.
also you could (say in premiere) have the enhanced version on one track and then maybe a lower volumed un enhanced version on one track to blend ambient noise into it
It just sounds muddy and muffled.
on your phone or monitors? what kind of monitors are you using?
@@carlosq00 - I’m listening on my iPad with a Bluetooth speaker. It’s not that it isn’t more focused on the voice. It’s that you’re losing the higher notes and clarity of the voice. A real test would be to compare it with a proper boom-mic.
this shit works mostly for english language which is a big con
