    You don't need to buy this. i have a 2014 Lincoln MKT. I took out each strut and shock, after i unplugged the wire harness. i cut out each sensor part of each with a grinding wheel, being careful to not damage the insides of the sensors of the old shock/strut. i then wrapped up the old sensor in plastic wrap and lots rhino tape and electric tape. i zipped tied each in safe spot in the wheel well. i reconnected the wire harness and i got no fault lights and car runs nice with new struts and shocks for a lot less money.

    Looking to get this for 2015 Pathfinder..... Looking for interface so to make real time height adjustments (as damping and such is done on its own). Can you give me some brands and products I would need to have (an interface that will control engine and suspension).

      Thanks for reaching out John.
      Unfortunately we do not have any support for Nissan active suspension systems.
      We appreciate your comment and time.

    Hello, I recently bought a delete kit for 16 denali. I have installed the height simulators, however im taking my truck to gmc to fix a couple other issues (brake assist.etc.) will this damage the height simulators? Also the custom shop im bring it to, to do the ride height procedure is telling me there is no such thing, would we be able to reach out to yall to maybe help them with the procedure?

      Hi KG,
      Thanks for reaching out AND for following the instructions. :) There shouldn't be any issue at all. As far as the truck is concerned you have normal ride height sensors plugged in.
      There is definitely a Ride Height Trim procedure for your 2016 Sierra Denali. It is in the GM MDI scan tool software as well as many high end OBDII Tools from Autel (DS808), SnapOn, Launch, etc.
      We even have our own USB/OBDII scan tool that we developed which runs on any WIndows computer. It can perform the trim procedure as well as read/clear DTCs and view live ride height data from the Suspension Control Module (SCM) You can read more about it here: shocksims.com/#software
      Feel free to give us a call or have your shop give us a call tomorrow and we can help out.

      @@xineering if I know someone that has the snap-on OBD2, will I need your scan tool?

    • @xineering
      @xineering  3 роки тому

      @@esco819 If their scan tool has the ability to read/clear DTCs and preform ride height trim procedures on the Suspension Control Module, you will not need our PC to OBD2 scan tool cable.

    If you’re not raising or lowering your vehicle do you need to install the ride height?

    • @xineering
      @xineering  Рік тому

      Yes, the ride height simulators hold the ride height voltages steady which reduces the amount of current being fed to the shock simulators. If the ride height sensors are NOT bypassed the SCM (Suspension Control Module) will think it needs to adjust the shocks (simulators) and will send current to the shock simulators and cause them to prematurely fail.
      If you are not raising or lowering your vehicle we recommend the OBDSS module.

      Simply unplug your OEM shocks and plug in the OBD module and you are done.
      -Thanks again!

    The biggest question is if you wanted to put whatever strut/spring/coilover you wanted on the car, why would you waste the money on one with Magnaride anyway.

      Unfortunately the Factory Magneride fails sooner than it really should. End users are not aware of that when purchasing. Replacement Magneride shocks/struts can be really expensive to replace.
