Good to here you are well again. Nice unit. WOR armies have a lot of white suits. You paint them to look interesting. Adding the contrast colors keeps them from looking like a row of beer cans.

Great looking unit and interesting history. I would really enjoy a step by step set of videos to you building up your king’s army, from deciding what units you were going to include. Selecting of the figures, or builds to the painting of the units. I realise that is a lot of work but I think it would make for a series of really interesting videos. Absolutely phenomenal effort on those models, I love the variation in armour tone (I'm just so lazy to do this!). I have just finished my first bill and bow, it was a lot of fun and I love how much you can squeeze out of those Perry Miniatures boxes.

I love these wars of the roses videos, they’ve actually inspired me to take on a project of my own trying to make up some units for Edward’s supporters from Wales and the Marches that fought with him at Mortimer’s Cross and Towton (particularly like the look of Walter Devereux, he seems to have got about a bit and been at a lot of the big conflicts). Looking forward to seeing more from the campaign as well, the mechanics you’ve come up with for it look really good. Keep up the good work!
Warwick is certainly one of the most intriguing historical characters in my opinion. There is so much scope for what you can do 😁👍 glad you're enjoying the videos

One day soon hopefully, the Devs of 'Field of Glory II' will release either a DLC or more likely a complete new game to cover the Wars of the Roses and other events in this time period like the Burgundian Wars. 'Field of Glory' is the only accessible way I can do tabletop gaming and above all else is course WOTR. The only other thing that is on the horizon as regards WOTR is Dell'arte della guerra mod for Mount and Blade Bannerlord, but that could be a long time in the works before any release. Apart from that in the way of gaming, nothing much else exists really for WOTR.
Pike and shot game has a wotr mod so I suggest checking that out (also several downloadable wotr battles seperate from the mod). The game is esentially an older version of newer field of glory games set in a early modern/reinessance era

It's more or less the same as field of glory with slightly more dated graphics and a couple of different rules (secondary zoc does not exist for example) . There is also a ton of user created scenarios going fron the mongol invasion of russia to the franco prussian war .

Hi Martin, if I was to buy one paint range which would you suggest for WotR and other historical wargaming, my colection currently consists of the valejo starter set and about 6 or 7 contrast paints, I'm eyeing up the army painter and velajo ranges but don't don't know what would be best (any other suggestions welcome.
I tend to use GW paints as there is a shop near me but if i was going to pick between army painter and vallejo it would probably pick vallejo for historical stuff 👍
Hello, I wanted to start hail caesar. I don‘t know if I want to start romans, war of the roses or something like vikings. But I wanted to ask how I should base them because everywhere I look I see around 5 models on one base. So how should I base them? And where can I find bases like this? Hi, thanks for taking the time to comment. Basing is all dependent on frontage if you work on 20mm per man (so on average i base 6 to a base) then you would have a 60mm base by 40mm which is pretty normal. Once you have that standard base size sorted for your project so long as you keep to that (and you opponent does as well) then you can really put any number of figures on the base 👍 hope that helps
PS wWhat is that basing glue you use? Seems GW doesn't make PVA anymore, and I don't much like off-the-shelf glues (ie Elmer's/any of the "tacky glues") as they just aren't as good as the old PVA was. I wouldn't mind ordering one, but don't quite know who has it/would mail it to the US. Thanks in advance!
