I have an "eye" rub available. Not the stunning N-1 body tone that one is, but maybe an N-3, with N-2 toward the eye's "pupil", and perhaps just as brightly coloured throughout the ribbon-patterned colour play. If you'd like to see a video of it, find me on Facebook or email me, I'm happy to show it...
What an amazing session! I see you adding a few of those to your collection, I would if I were you, the eye stone is so unique it had the star effect that follows the light which makes it seem to stare at you . The odds of that effect is astronomical. Thanks Justin and BOD crew ! We all appreciate your effort to make ugly sandy stones into some of the finest gems on the planet ❤
Justin... That was amazing. Please, please put them all on your 'Gems' channel when you finish up. You are truly the master!!! It's always a pleasure to watch you work. Better than anything on TV. Randy in Des Moines. ✌👍
I started on the live yesterday, saw Dwayne and the start of the wheel grind but fell asleep. (Approx 2 AM in Sweden) Watched back now and laughed at the falling asleep comment you dropped during the cutting. Spectacular session, so many gorgeous ones. I love when they show orange/yellow/gold. 🎉 Hope lunch was great!
Greetings from Ukraine, from the invincible city of Kharkiv! Dear Justin and your team, You are doing an incredible job, the combination of the beauty of natural minerals and Your craftsmanship does wonders for my mood.
This was amazing to see all those lovely gems you cut. I love the dark green pattern with the eye. Have an awesome trip and will be looking forward to seeing where you go and if you find opals. Have a great time fishing and thank you Justin
What an amazing lot of treasures, I love when you get excited about the quality of the stones, when those colors pop out we can feel your excitement. Thank you for the ride through your journey.
I'm in the North East, UK and had to turn off to go to sleep. I am SO GLAD I caught back up!!! All of that brightness has lit up a very dull day in the Northern Hemisphere, thank you so much!!
That 3rd stone you showed off after Dwayne was insane. IDK if anyone else noticed it, but there's a perfect little cross in that script pattern. It's a red/orange cross. Simply amazing. That alien eye stone was out of this world. Did you keep it, Justin?
I am learning so much just watching and listening. I am hanging on every word as my eyes follow each transformation. You are truly gifted to see the promise if each piece. I have worked with turquoise when I lived on the Zuni Reservation in New Mexico. My husband and I made silver and turquoise jewelry. Thank you for sharing what you do.
I probably saw this vid or part of it. I saw the last one you did on the Giant Opal. Correct choice you made. Texas cheers for this channel. GranburyTx.
Wow, Justin! I could see the depth of the "eye stone" so clearly! When you moved it around, it had such an amazing 3D effect, where it looked like it was an actual round stone inside of another one! That was soooo amazing!
Just wow, I'm so glad I got to watch this even if it's after the fact, you hit it big time Justin! Great parcel, and great results, I'm so happy for you.
Finally got watch the live, on replay. Fabulous stones. Not very often that I miss one.(at veterinary clinic. Bad outcome). However, the catch up was well worth the wait. Greetings from Dimboola, in Victoria, Australia.
I like the comment on the eye stone, to stick it on Dwayne so he can see! lol...that was an amazing, unique, and beautiful stone!!! One of a kind. Of a lifetime! I know you don't care too much for the white opal, but I do like them with bits of pinks, blues, and greens with a pretty play of color in them. Crystal opals with similar colors of my liking with play on play colors, fat ones! Those are my favorite opals. I love watching you work Justin....it's like vicarious dreamy way of life you have. Your hands remind me of someone I once knew who played guitar...
I've been working Hou,TX. Rodeo for a month, so good to hear that wheel, beautiful 😍 stones, glad to see your pet rock is progressing, and as always good to see Tamika's smile 😃
The eye is a once in a life time find so glad you left it I'd hate to have to set a value on it it's one of those gems that someone will either love and pay whatever you ask or they will hate it ànd say it's not worth what your asking I love it
Hi Mr Justin. Thank you infinitely for beyond your business share your passion and take your time to try to conversation for everyone your know how 🙏 ( excuse me for my bad english). Have a nice day Mr Justin
I found a water bar opal at my work, (I live in walgett). An old miner from the ridge told me what it was, and bought some of his to show me. Absolutely incredible. He had a fossilised opal they think was a branch, it’s got black potch next to a green blue pin fire stripe, then next to that is a red orange pin fire bar.The other awesome one was a black opal flagstone with red, blue, green, yellow and orange.
Ok I got to this video very late as I just found your channel so going back watching old videos. That dragon eye crystal was so cool looking! I’m in North Carolina USA and I think opals are so fascinating! ❤to all down under and happy holidays!
I've been watching you from Liverpool, England for a couple of years now, and really enjoy these live cutting sessions (given the time difference I tend to watch "as live"). I haven't had this much fun since the "Script Pattern" days! TWENTY good stones cut in one session - some of them are some of the best I've seen you cut ever "The Eye", and all the 2 sided gems for instance! I hope you film the polishing process with at least some of these, and let us know the final, total value of this video - my guess is $30-35k. Keep up the good work!😃
I did not catch this live but I am so thankful that I get to watch it after the fact! A year ago the only thing I knew about Opal was that it is a common crossword puzzle clue (Fiery Gem-4 letters) now I am in love with all things Opal, my primary interest is Guitar and Music so how I got here is ???? I love watching you work and how you explain things and can now spread the joy of Opal and why it is so expensive (And worth every penny when you put your hands on it) If I had the opportunity to learn how to carve I would jump on it. You have done an awesome thing in sharing this with us.
Love your videos! I found a quart jar of raw opal for $5 at a sale years back. I imagine how they'd look after you got hold of them! One is deep purple!
Wow, this was better than going to the movies. What a thrilling adventure!! Not just anyone would have been able to pull off the 100% success with those little pea knobbys. That's a direct result of your talent. Thank you for such an entertaining hour and a half 😁👍👍💚💚💚💖💖💖
Such beautiful opals 👍💎❤️! Greetings to you all at BOD from me in Sweden! Sometimes, insomnia can be a delightful gift even if i did miss the live stream!
When I was 17 I had a four wheeler wreck and I broke T 10 11 and 12 . I was in hospital for three weeks and in a titanium brace like your sons for 9 months. My heart goes out to him. Bending over to pick up stuff you drop is impossible, so I learned to use my toes to pick up stuff .😂 so at least a skill came out of it.
I just found your channel earlier today and have watched 5 videos. Opals are my favorite gemstone. I have loved rocks, stones. Fossils, but of course gems. I enjoy researching about them, where they are found, how they are mined, how they are graded, and above all else the cutting and polishing. I had a very nice collection of loose gems, but as you know when times get tough you do what you need to do. I had to sell most of my collection. I love your channel. I have subscribed and will be watching from here on. I'm not sure if it was in this video or of the others I watched that the superstition about opals came up. I was told at a young age that unless opal was your birthstone it was considered to be unlucky. Well, my father was born in October and since I'm 50% my father I looked at as no big deal. My first nice piece of jewelry was an oral ring. I was 14 years old. I had that ring until I was in my late 30s when it was stolen. The original opal was still in the ring and in perfect condition. It was a white opal but it was a higher grade according to a jeweler who replaced one of small diamonds. I have bought another ring, I bought the stone and the setting separately. I have had this ring for almost 30 years.
Remind me not to click on your videos when I have work to do! I can’t stop and time passes quickly as I forget everything else. Beautiful gems!!
I'm from Oregon. And have loved Opal in all my 63 years of life but that eye is one of my all time favorites. Thank you for the show .
Thank you for sharing this joyfilled session.
Your just a kid!
I have an "eye" rub available.
