    This is a random thought but... Maybe you can do a video (Zula chick chats maybe?) where both of them share about their air steward experience!

    who takes geography?! urgh insulted. but i do understand if students do not like geography as many teachers are boring and do not teach it well. for these people, i am sorry. unfortunately most of our impression on a subject is due to the teacher. personally i hate physics as the teacher just read from the textbook and asked us to highlight this and that. geography teaches relevant skills that you use at any type of work and it is the humanities subject that is easiest to score which is why most students would choose geog. and actually it can be taught in a fun manner compared to the other humanities such as with games, debates, kahoot quizzes, videos, demonstrations, experiments etc

      Thing is, we don’t learn about the world map. 😂

    • @joyoftessa
      @joyoftessa Рік тому

      @@kentakicheeken4471 i make it a point to teach it as i think its important. Most teachers assume they have learnt it in primary school. I have been criticised for wasting time teaching world map. But also geog is not abt world maps. It means study of the world which consists of many issues like food,, water, housing , diseases, transportation, population etc. Also the complaint of the previous gen is that geog is abt memorising world map. The skills we want to impart is not memorising and regurgitating

      @@joyoftessa uhm ur kinda off the mark there.. its about being able to read maps, the natural environment, human environment(which details about population), and how people are effected by ones natural environment...
      food water housing religion diseases transportation etc are stuff u learn if u take up sociology

      @joyoftessa Рік тому

      @@joshualee8151 err i am a geography teacher. Geography is a social science. Sec 1 learns water, deforestation and energy. Sec 2 learns housing, transportation and cities. Upper sec has tourism diseases and food for human environment and coasts plate tec and weather for physical environment

      @@joyoftessa ah okays makes sense but alot of the other elements would be our social studies classes in the states.. geography was population density,geographical features, climates, natural landmarks,topography, knowing the difference between a marsh and a swamp, difference between a butte and a mesa etc
      also plate tectonics was involved as well as natural disasters n awareness of it! forgot to add in flags hahaha

    So much Chinese/dialect spoken on a channel meant for Singaporeans…lol ok our Malay Indian friends don’t need to know what’s going on. The two Chinese guys talk like ah bengs, seriously why cast them.

      @@shinyeee1709 Dude I’m chinese. Tsl wasnt like this before esp at the start and over the years idk how all the ah Beng/lian-ness and Chinese words started to make their way in and boss man is ok with that. It’s crazy how much their production quality/content improved yet the way some of the new (after 2018?) talents speak is just so…full of Singlish + Chinese words left and right. Take a look at TSL Tries from back in the day esp the OG batch and it’s a clear contrast.
