Old disabled house bound dusty rusty rockhound here: This adventure was so much fun! Matrix is the star, as always. Those are my kind of "crunch berries." Geologically exciting area! What a treat!
You too?? I wish I could go find rocks in these places!! AND THEY HAVE A LONG HAIRED DOXIE!
I became disabled in 2008. Before that, I was training horses, teaching kids, cleaning mansions, hiking, camping, and everything..... I miss that so _SOOO_ much!!!
@emilymalin5304 Sorry that happened to you! It sure changes things, huh? Thank goodness we have people like Bryan who allow us to participate via video! May happiness and good fortune smile upon you, Emily. Remember, they can take the girl out of the rockhunt, but they can't take the rockhunt out of the girl! I hope you keep rockhunting, even if it's on Etsy or at the jewelry store!
Great video - Bryan it was fun having you out with us collecting Red Beryl and Topaz. Looking forward to more adventures with you.
Do you have more of a geological explanation of the area or a paper about the depositional environment for the topaz and beryl?
13:04 that looks like a rose. That'd be an awesome piece for a rose themed pendant with a gold flower stem and maybe jade or emerald for the leaves. Women would love it and it'd be super unique.
Jeremy is pretty great, offered me work as a tour guide but I didn't have a car at the time so that would have been hard. I highly recommend his claims for anyone who struggles physically or wants quality material for crafts.
Nature creates very beautiful shapes.
Dream trip
It was such a great time digging with you Bryan!
I love the video! Part two is going to be a thriller.

Looks like Topaz Mountain up where the source rock is.
They look like itty bitty stop signs.
Jeremy is a good guy. I went to this mine for red beryl, and the other one for pink topaz.
Yea was super fun hanging out!
@TheCrystalCollector meeting you at Topaz Mountain was awesome as well. I hope to meet you again. God bless and stay safe.
Hello Bryan and Matrix! Thanks for sharing your amazing beryl adventure with us! Hoping to join you in a California dig soon!
Man, you guys have all the fun.
Awesome Bryan 🙏♥️ One day I want to go do this with my family! Give little adorable Matrix my love 🙏♥️
best luck find red very ❤
According to old records from Sunbury County, New Brunswick, Canada, there was a topaz occurrence in my area. Not sure of the precise location but I'm guessing it's just south of the Blissville area. The geological surveys indicated a volcanic occurrence that basically covers the entire province.
Oh wow, may be a spot to go to Prospect!
I'm hoping so, we have all sorts of great occurrences here. The biggest being jasper, I think. This topaz occurrence looks to have been either forgotten about or it just wasn't producing good quality gems. Either or, I'll keep trying to locate the exact spot and go have a look see. Great vid today btw. Keep on keeping on my friend.
Beautiful 😍
Amazing video!! Thanks for sharing!!
Awesome ❤
Don’t even know what to say Bryan! Unbelievable for such a rare little stone! They are so beautiful! Love the shape and the color! And lots of topaz on top of it! The scepter? Outstanding! What a great day of digging! ❤
This was an awesome video
Great video
Thanks 🙏
Rock candy baby! Yum!!!!!
I’m so early !!! Love your videos 💎❤️
You rock Rockman!!!
I would never cut these beautiful gems. My favorite shape is a hexagon. The red color reminds me of cherry kool-aid. Simply beautiful. so is the natural topaz as well.
Looks like fun.
Increíble ver esas joyas tan pequeñas, sois unos maestros!!!❤❤
🙌💎💜💎
Great dig there! I hope to experience it myself!
Yes it’s a great time, go if you get the opportunity.
So awesome!!! Please send me one of those Red Beauties!!! 🛑
Very cool, topaz is my birth month gemstone.
Hi Bryan, those red beryls look stunning. I don’t know of any locations for that mineral here in Australia. Some of those topaz are great looking pieces as well. Those red beryl look stunning are some of them facet grade. Another great video.🍺
I could be wrong, but I think the red beryl is only found in the wah wah mountains in Utah.
@@weirdman0116Red beryl is found in topaz mountain and the wah wah mountains in Utah. Also it has been found in China. The wah wahs have better gem quality but that mine is private and closed to public.
New to your channel thanks for sharing yours and matrix
Adventures
Beautiful pieces, Bryan! I love the ones still in the matrix, I think those are my favorites. Looks like a very hot/dry environment to be working in! My bald head would be struggling! 🤣
Beautiful red beryl! How come Matrix had an insulated jackets on in the heat?
Grasias por conpartir
I just saw your truck with your rv on the back you passed a red ram 1500 im with my great grandpa heading to the beach
I thought that I was always subscribed 1, but had to subscribe again. Awesome gem hunting !
epic topaz scepter! :O
Searching for those stones would be an adventure.
Its just Wow you changed ur editing style
Ur just good at it
Bixbite is so rare and widely imitated , would u ever sell some of the smaller crystals to fans . I would go for the tour but currently in the uk and studying gemmology full time . Great video as always
I actually went up here earlier thus year in April for my birthday with me and 3 friends. We ended up leaving with several mason jars full of topaz and over 80 beryl. Also, ended up with a grocery bag full of apache tears.

It’s fun, check it out!
Hello friend, I had not seen this video. and let me tell you that I also have a red Beryl here. of more than 6 carats is already cut and polished
Oh Yeah \m/
Last night You and your dog walked in the same place I walked my little brown dog at the McDonalds I work at in MN (I wont mention the town).
I was hadn't heard of your channel but was curious about the name on your trailer.
I should have said hi but I remembered the name of your channel.
Wow that pit has expanded in the past two years..
So if this is open to the public, how do we find out how to get there? I'd love to try my luck!
Love to see Matrix and oh yeah the red beryl isn’t bad either.
hello
i could not believe the perfect 6 sided beryl gem
How many crystals hav u collected
What is the best way to clean off the white crusty coating off the regular topaz crystals? I found a bunch of single crystals and clusters on my vacation to Utah last week but they all are covered in crust it seems.
I was told power tools are prohibited
When did this trip occur? Worried about the heat out there.
I'm very curious to know if you plan on putting some red beryl up on your ebay page great viedo ❤
Interesting formationgs 😎👍
Why u think they look like that 🤔
10:16 got you a subscription 💀
What type of mineral is the red barrel and is it related to the garnet or ruby gemstone?
Matrix ain't lookin' so happy! I think he is too hot!
I would love to come there and do this, how do I I get more information? I see a road trip in the future 😊😅.
.i hope i lived there...
Hey Bryan do you know any public digging sites for fluorite anywhere?
Do you know why a certain stone is only a certain size in one area? I have always wondered that.
Really miss the old theme song 😞
Is this At or near topaz mountain? Or is it in the Wah Wah mountains?
Hi where you found red beryl ?
Sir can you het treat red barrels?
👍
looks like your dog matrix was too big to fit thru the mesh sifter
How does nature make facets on crystals like that?
So the mine is still open? Gavin Linsell said the mine has been closed since the 1990s. or will no longer be mined. what is the current standing? the red beryl is one of my favorites
i think the mine you are talking about is the violet claims, which is the only place where big gem-worthy red beryll has been mined. There are other mines, like the one in the video, but the quality of the stones isnt the same.
@@LisaBuchwald-co9gd mine in Wah wah Mountains.
How many of those red beryls were facet grade?
Not too many but I imagine a few come out occasionally
So there were some facet grade ones?
Price?
Where is the exact location
do you sell those ? Where can I buy them
Yes, I’ll be adding some here: just internet search “ultrarocks eBay”
😊😊😊😊😊😊❤❤❤❤❤
so how much does it cost to dig on his claims, and how much did you make?
It was around a couple of hundred dollars, I don’t talk about prices because mines can go up each year on their pricing especially with inflation these days. So it might be more next year, but I did very well, I found 5 to 6 times what I paid.
@@TheCrystalCollector where do you usually sell your stuff?
😮😮😮😮❤❤❤❤
You know I have a mineral it's brown and it's crystal with a deep dark brown color and the only one I know like that is painite I have more than a kilo it's something fragile it doesn't scratch at the moment but if you hit it something hard if it breaks. the only thing this indicates is painite i would like you to see this mineral
👍♥️
Is red beryl the same as ruby?
Red beryl is a “beryl variety. Like aquamarine & emerald. Ruby is a variety of corundum, which when blue is a sapphire. 🙌💎
@@TheCrystalCollector thank you. There isn't any of these types of minerals here in Pennsylvania.
Is the red beryl the most expensive and rare of the colors of beryl?
Yes, they actually sell more than diamonds carat for carat
@@TheCrystalCollector I just saw saw about to most expensive crystals and distinctly remember the red beryl... Good finds brother... And a fist full of topaz as a by product.... Doesn't get much better then that. Stay well and search on brother ✌️
Red Beryl is supposed to be pretty rare. Cut and polished how much do you think those stones might be worth?
get ready to get rich, man
it's not opened to the public?
Its a pay dig, but reasonably priced with the value of what you gain.
