We were looking for a home that had good bones but needed some cosmetic updates and renovations so that we could make it our own! We landed on this incredible Georgian Colonial home that I absolutely love and see so much potential in! We wanted a home that was in good condition, had a floor plan we liked, didn't need any walls torn down, but needed some cosmetic upgrades and that's exactly what this home offers! The first thing I noticed was how absolutely beautiful those floors are. I can’t believe you were gonna rip them out. I hope you’re going to preserve them so maybe some other homeowner could use them

After growing up watching full house, I’ve always thought “if you have a house with 2 staircases, you’ve really made it”… congrats!!!!
I see flooring, those floors are amazing and that stair case too! I would have just gone with it.

They are not ripping off, just changing the color of the wood, which I think is fine as is, anyway. The stairs I agree they can stay as is, she will keep it looking the same for now.
I’m excited to see what you going to do with the space. I know some people are saying “don’t change the floors, leave the kitchen as it is”. Is her home y’all, let her bring her vision to life. At the end of the day she will be living here! I believe in her transformations & I know whatever she decide to do is going to be beautiful! ❤️

This is so exciting! I’m so happy for you. If I may make one suggestion, since you have a few bathrooms and closets, you may want to consider moving the laundry upstairs and turning the current laundry room into a pantry.

Absolutely gorgeous! Our 4 seasons room is the favorite room in my house. We can watch wildlife and enjoy the seasons changing. No television in there. Just nature and music.

What a beautiful and BIG home❤❤❤ everything is already good. Only paint, paparwalls and decor is needed. Lay out is perfect!
I would paint the sealing in the livingroom withe the floor tiles, white or light color (very ligt blue maby) so it also feels high, the dark color makes it unnecessarily low and feels stuffy.

I have such a big return air vent, too. I replaced the grille with a decorative grille from Stellar Air Vent Covers, that I painted in the wall cover. Now it looks like a work of art.
