Ren was misdiagnosed with M.E. He actually had Lyme disease.

Been listening to Ren since HiRen came out. Best overall artist I know. This song was a long time coming and exactly what i wanted. I was never misdiagnosed. But Ive broken my neck twice in my life and the second time was over 26 yrs ago. Still walk etc, but have lived with constant pain since (2/3 of my life since i was fused back together). It was the last line from this song that I was waiting to hear from Ren.

Lyme disease bacteria eats your body and mind from the inside
Its really good at hiding so hard to diagnose
All the damage can leave people with other serious chronic conditions
Ren has MCAS and POTS
You can't just tough it out
Ren was able to go to the gym again after the stem cells gave him some strength
It doesn't always work
Ren worked out as a teenager and his doctor encouraged him to keep doing this to assist against the other weaknesses
These chronic illnesses can't be overcome by willpower
But hope and love helps
On his other channel @RenMakesStuff he posted his Chapters which is like a book he reads of his struggle his illness his journey, he wants people to know so please go there to watch it. This song Troubles is about that too ♥
Ren said stem cell treatments don’t always work and you can get worse he was lucky.
