It's one thing to pull yourself out of the dark, it's another to reach back and try and pull out others with you. Ren is still in treatment, he's still in pain but instead of only focusing on himself and his journey he's using his talent to try and help. That's heroic.
Truly is.
With great power comes great responsibility, and Ren is truly a hero! He is using his growing powers and platform for so much more than simply creating brilliant music. Ren has said that he always had this feeling that he was meant to change the world for the better. So much that he defiantly yelled a challenge to evil into an empty room. And then he got sick…
Ren has now shared the full story of his health journey in 8 video chapters leading up to the release of this song and what a journey it has been. If anyone hasn’t already watched them, I highly recommend you do. With all the chapters he is showing immense strength in sharing his story that is so hard to tell, being vulnerable and telling it because he hopes it will help others and raise awareness. And here he is with another rendition of that story, now told through music with a fire beat and delivering a message of hope. A beautiful hero that the world needs ❤️🐰🕳️

So glad that Ren's remarkable persistence got him to where he is today - for his sake and ours. I hope his message gets to the right ears and that the world turns their attention to these illnesses that are causing so many people so much pain and that answers are found.

One of the most painful part of his story is losing his early 20s to his illness and Ren will never get them back. All he did was search for answers, he was an advocate for himself to survive. So young, so lost and willing to die. He never gave up, walked through flames and was ridiculed by the health system. I cry for his determination and his resilience to live. His music saved him. I hold him close to my heart.

Ren being the voice for the voiceless, telling his story and making people understand more of what it can be like to live with these awful illnesses that most of the world choose not to see or deal with.
It seems to me like these illnesses are becoming more and more common but the doctors are not keeping up or are not given the means to figure out how to deal with them. My sister has fibromyalgi (not sure about the spelling) and so many of us struggle with mental healthy problems in one way or another. I feel that the world we now live in force people to live in ways that makes us sick sooner or later, no matter how much we try to stay healthy.
Big up to Ren for doing what he can to push the attention in the direction of these illnesses and send hope out to those stuck in the darkness of it 🙏❤️
Great reaction Guy, as always. Its a hard subject and Ren is so raw, honest and real that it cuts deep in us who are empaths and have the ability to understand some of the hell he has been through.
You are right, everyone is struggling with something and there is no need or way to say who has it worst, we are all suffering at times. Its a part of being alive, but so is joy, friendship, love, happiness, laughter and much much more that tip the scale and make it worth while and enjoyable ❤😊🙏

The fact that the one line that would have been extremely painful even as a metaphor but is actually true tells you just in how terrible a situation he really was in! In a state of psychosis cutting your chest open with a serrated knife just to make sure you’re actually still alive and you have to be hospitalized you cut so deep but you’re actually happy about it because you felt something, ANYTHING! Damn Ren it is awful you had to go to the gates of Hell my brother but God finally answered your prayers and we’re ALL here for you to support you and help you spread your message of awareness! Amazing story of Hope and Triumph! Anyone going through mental or physical pain, don’t give up, there’s light at the end of the tunnel. ♥️

I totally relate to this song by Ren, with my own issues and it brought for the words to me that are,: "I, have only, one castle, it's my soul. Damages, in separate rooms. Rebuilt with strength, faith and glories, that I have found along the way." Wonderful reaction hugs and take care.

There's an unfortunate pleasure in causing the pain 😢 it gives a feeling of control over the cause of the pain. Dangerous habit to get into for sure. Takes a lot of suffering to get to that point.
