Hereby introducing the BRIDGE Series, where I discuss the basic sciences in ophthalmology connecting with relevant applied aspects. The first in the series is on the Crystalline Lens.
In Part 1, we shall learn on:
1. Brief embryology of Lens + few applied aspects
2. Anatomy of Lens
3. Biochemistry of Lens - Proteins and CH metabolism
4. Physiology of Lens - transparency and accommodation
In part 2, we shall discuss the Cataractogenesis and morphology of various types of cataracts!

More convex means smaller will be the cicle less convex means bigger will be the circle see the lens diagram in book
