- Clear, comprehensive video on everything you need to know about the anatomy of lens . the lens is a clear, transparent crystalline mass situtaed between the iris and the hyaloid in the patellar fossa. The lens is kept in the hyaloid with the weigert ligament strong attachment. The space behind the lens and the wiegert liagment is called the bergers space .
The video discusses the important measurements of the lens like the Equatorial diameter of the lens, lens thickness, curvatures and refractive index of the lens. The anatomy of lens is discussed under the heading of the capsule of lens, lens epithelium and the lens fibres. The video explains the various types of nuclei and the zones : namely the embronic nucleus, the featl nucleus, the adult nucleus and the infantile nucleus of lens. the video discusses clinical nuggets and everypoint wherever relevant. We end with important discussion on the zonules of ZINN and the surgical anatomy of the lens .
