For the "Best Value Foil," the Cabrina H1200 was mentioned. It stands out for its exceptional build quality and performance at a price. This foil is an excellent upgrade from beginner models like the Fusion, especially for those progressing to higher winds and faster riding.

The Fusion offers a great balance between price, beginner-friendliness, and progression potential.

Its versatility, efficiency, and performance in challenging conditions like turbulent water and powerful waves were particularly praised. Great format, however I think a more interesting option would be to include a wider selection of all gear currently on the market rather than basing the list on your instore and on sale items. Particularly for those following your channel from outside the US. But still interesting nevertheless.
For sure, we don't get much time on gear we don't offer. Thankfully, we carry most of the leading brands and have ample time riding the gear to make a fair assessment. - Tucker
Great lineup. I don't ride any of those but my own latest design, not influenced buy the SK8 but super similar. Lots of good designers are seeking a kind of performance that requires that shape. I know exactly why it's that shape because the reasons I designed mine and the performance I get out of my latest are a really good match for the performance I wanted and also what I'm seeing in reviews of the SK8. I didn't pay much attention to it until after I'd designed and ridden my own latest design but the claim of silky smooth glide through turns matches mine too, that comes on my one through extremely thinning out to the wing tips, it's like I'm on shock absorbers. I did a couple of other designs earlier this year and one is super fast but twitchy over turbulence, one is slower but good through turbulence but despite longer chord and shorter span, nowhere near as next level smooth as my latest wing is. While chord will smooth a wing's flight, nothing like the flex in my latest does. And with my wing at 1m span, 1240 sqcm area, slightly pointier tips than the sk8 and a bit more centre chord length, it turns like a dream under my 115kg+kit. And fast too. Our locals have mostly switched from ARTs to Spitfires and love them. I've not tried one yet but I don't agree with their no sweep, flat design. Also, I've come to believe that highest modulus is a bad idea for anything that's not intended to be record setting or super high aspect. The sea moves and so do we, flex can be good. Working on my infusion moulding process and I'll be experimenting with basalt for some of my layers soon for more flex control.
Hoooo and with need the same type of awards for the kites : big air, freeride, light wind, new material....

Got the jam 1900 and I agree you can get up in no wind and you can use it for pumping. I am much more into larger foils than huge wings.

Hello, If you had to quote the duotone foils over other brands how much would you give them out of ten ? Thanks
That's a tough call since each brand has their own niche and designs but I guess I'd give the overall system and designs an 8.5. It's super stiff and reliable but a little heavier than some other brands. They have a really complete lineup for 2024 but I'd say they are lacking that "Headliner foil" which everyone talks about and must have. The new D/lab could be that this year but I haven't had a chance to ride it yet. - Tucker

For racing, I'd say the Ozone Fusion is the winner there. It's fast, innovative, groundbreaking for racers. -Tucker

It seems Naish S27 has a better budget kit than Cabrinha. For about 900 usd you get a Naish Jet HA with carbon 100 mast or even cheaper with carbon 35 or aluminum.
Youre not getting a full set with the carbon 100 mast for 900 usd. The full 100 carbon mast wasnt even out until recently.
@@obvioustrash7833 maybe not at mackiteboarding but I've just got (5 days ago) the S27 Jet HA 1240 plus 85cm carbon 100 mast for 933 usd. Carbon 35 would be 200 usd cheaper
