Knowledge is a cycle of learning and teaching. The more you teach, the better you learn. If you can't teach something, do you really understand it? In this video, we lay out the 4 S's of effective teaching and show how it is implemented in specific ways, like in the Feynman Technique or the Whole Part Whole Method. These will shown with detailed walkthroughs to help you implement them into your studies.
    🙏 Thanks for watching!

Yes but you know what to teach how much to teach .like when we talk àbout UA-cam you must know what audience want when audience is child you had to explain UA-cam as app in which people post vedios this one for 5 years world
For graduation guys we just need to know UA-cam as app and people post vedios with different content to get views and money through ads
When you say to software developer .you need to teach them UA-cam is software where people post vedios or upload with different content that data is stored in some data base , front end, back end ,code etc
Teaching is good but when we on flow teaching never stops
For a topic UA-cam you easily write a book of 100 pages , lecture share some points we need to learn that and recall back using mind maps and chunk method

    Video Summary from Recall:
Don't rely so much on easy techniques, like passive reading.
    Feynman Technique:
Put words in simple terms. Use a story. Always ask Why? Why is this important? Why does this happen?
    (Forgot everything else)
    Getting the big picture Idea:
Get the main idea and break it down into subtopics
    (forgot everything else)
    1: Teach simple language
2:Don't rely on notes so much,
    3: Teach out loud, speak,
4: Teach while Sketching, you asorb, visulaize, and learn,
5: Teach our weaknesses, what we're not so storng at
    Two main teaching techinques
    Feynman:
Ask why? Break down complicated ideas into something simple. Ask a bunch of whys.
    -Find weaknesses
    -Clarify with professors
    -Then teach it again
    Whole part WHole technique:
Take a big picture/ idea than break it down. When breaking it down make sure to connect the smaller parts to the big picture.
    Combine them together
This was really good! I always heard people talk about teaching yourself helps you learn but I didn't know it could go as in-depth as this. Thank you!

A summary for reference for my fellow rangers 🐼:
Watch the video for detailed explanation of each step🔥
    Method
    The 4 S's:
    1. "Teach in Simple language" - Explain the concept to a child
    2. "Teach on Stage" - Explain out loud and from memory to avoid dependancy on notes
    3. "Teach while sketching" - Express your thoughts on paper to better understand the material
    4. "Teach to stumble " - Actively look for gaps in your understanding when explaining
Techniques (how to use the 4 S's):
    Feynman (Simplifies a topic)
    1.Pick a topic
    2. Do the 4 S's continuously asking why until its broken down
    3. Use this opportunity to identify gaps and fill them
    4. and solidify understanding through associating, analogies and story telling
    5. Rinse and repeat
    Whole part whole(Connects at topic)
    1. Address the whole big picture
    2. Explain various parts using the 4 S's (parts can be embedded so long as you do step 3)
    3. After each part like back to how it relates to the bigger picture
    The combination of this being:
    1. pick a topic to teach
    2. teach from memory and while sketching
    3. teach it starting with the big picture (the whole), and elaborating down to supporting topics (the part)
    4. keep breaking it down into fundamental ideas and simple terms (feynman)
    5. then try to consolidate it all and connect it back to why it's important in the big picture (the whole)
    6. identify your gaps
    7. Rinse and repeat
    Thank you Mike and Matty!!!

    Summary
    00:00
Teaching is the most effective study technique.
    00:07
    Teaching helps you learn twice.
    00:44
The 4S teaching framework can be used to explain complex topics in simple language.
    01:23
Teach in a way that most people will understand.
    01:51
Learn the material well enough to teach it without notes.
    02:21
Don't rely too heavily on notes when studying.
    02:33
Teaching out loud and from memory is an effective study technique.
    03:00
Listening to podcasts while studying can be confusing, but sketching while teaching can help clarify concepts.
    03:44
Sketching while teaching clears space in the mind and activates multiple regions of the brain.
    03:57
Teaching helps identify knowledge gaps and improves retention.
    04:20
Deep diving into a topic is a great way to review for an exam.
    04:36
The Feynman technique involves breaking down complex topics by asking 'why' repeatedly.
    04:55
The technique includes picking a topic, asking 'why' to break it down, and clarifying weak points.
    05:19
Demonstrating the technique, cholecystitis is explained using analogies and stories.
    07:35
The whole part whole technique emphasizes understanding how details fit into the bigger picture.
    08:12
Another demonstration of the technique is given, explaining cholecystitis and the gallbladder.
    10:13
The order of teaching in the Feynman technique and the whole part whole technique is compared.
    10:21
The whole part whole technique provides context and helps understand the topic's relevance.
    10:49
The video discusses a study technique called whole part hole.
    10:58
The technique involves picking a topic, teaching it from memory while sketching, and then breaking it down into fundamental ideas.
    11:14
The next step is to consolidate the information and connect it back to the big picture.
    11:20
Teaching to stumble and filling in gaps is also recommended.
    11:33
The video uses the whole part hole technique to structure its content.
    11:43
The speaker emphasizes the importance of teaching in their success as a student.
    11:48
Other techniques are also available to deepen understanding.

i Noticed a small problem in my taking of the techiques of Feynman --> Whole part whole.
    Am i right?
I kind of would say explaining that the bladder had a stone in it kind of helped understand where i was going. the second part where the burger came firts deff worked but in my idea missed one important part.
the oumf, push that says there is something wrong or happening why is that and how does it even work.
the part with the burger comming first made it more like a burger comes in and this is how it works, but there was no real reason to start learning yet. There was no Question or problem before the anwsering.

    ## And that skill is… Teaching!
(and how to use in 2 diff ways!)
    1. 1:22 Teach it in simple language
    2. 2:33 Teach “on stage” (without open notes) (like driving without a gps!)
    3. 3:37 Teach while sketching
    1. it activates multiple regions of the brain
    4. 4:17 Teach to stumble (actively look for weaknesses)
    2 diff techniques:
    1. 4:53 Feynman technique
    1. Pick a topic to teach
    2. remember the 4 S’s (ANalogies and stories)
    3. keep asking why
    4. go back to clarify (notes, videos, professors)
    2. 7:50 whole part whole technique
    1. start by addressing the whole (the big picture)
    2. teach the various parts(the details) of the whole
    3. wrap up by showing why the parts are relevant to the whole (tieing it back to the whole)
    10:57 Both technique combo!
    1. pick a topic to teach
    2. teach from memoery and while sketching
    3. teach it starting with the big picture (the whole), and elaborating down to supporting topics (the part)
    4. keep breaking it down into fundamental ideas and simple terms (feynman)
    5. then try to consolidate it all and connect it back to why its important in the big picture (the whole)
    6. identify your gaps
    7. repeat the cycle
