That was actually filmed early morning and was very quiet, it’s a very popular beach.
Thank you so much for watching & enjoying 💪🏻

Wow, it must get very busy if that was the beach first thing. It does look a fabulous beach so I can see why it's popular.
Have a great day, hopefully the sun will make an appearance today 😊

It does get busy mostly during School holidays, but the beach is three miles long, so you only have to walk a short way along the beach and it's fine. we go quite often in early June, and it is never too bad. we love the place.
The far end of the beach is called Putsborough, it's just a car park with a cafe. both ends of the beach have lovely rock pools when the tide is out.
Not too far is Croyde, and just a mile or so from there is Saunton beach, both of these beaches are beautiful too

I used to go every year as a child, never walked far down it though, not even as far as the end of those beach huts.
I have also filmed Croyde beach which was the first time I’d gone there, I agree it’s lovely there.
Thank you so much for watching & taking the time to comment, it is much appreciated 👍🏻

Thank you Simon, that’s why I love making videos that incorporate both Camera & Drone, which il try to do every video if possible in a while…I’ve already got quite a few videos ready like that, but you know how it is, my older footage needs releasing first.

    That’s just beautiful 👍
What’s the radio range on your drone?

    • @SightsWithSteve
      @SightsWithSteve  4 місяці тому +1

Thank you 😁, the range on this drone is theoretically upto 12.4 miles ( depending on signal interference ect )
However the law states you must maintain a VLOS - visual line of sight, so in reality you can imagine we’re talking around 1000 feet.
And besides that the battery would never last to get you to the full theoretical range, probably about 1/4 of it.

Well, Steve, you’re relatively close to Stonehenge, I see.
Could that be your next drone-video? If it’s allowed to fly over it with a drone…

Thank you, I live about 2 hours from Stonehenge and having just checked the mapping system it’s right on the edge of a munitions area, though it is possible, definitely worth thinking about 🫡.
