    "Wow!" is what came out of my mouth, and I'm sitting here on a Saturday morning (7/15/23) watching the magic. You guys do very nice work. Plus, whoever is doing the editing of these videos is top-notch! Thanks for sharing this with me! God bless. Peace. ✝

    God bless. Peace. Indeed. Sat, 7/15/23. I commented on the first vid a short time ago. The way you and Benny work is phenomenal! I can't put my finger on it but this video is better than the ones from earlier. I'm looking forward to seeing you use *your very own* heavy equipment (excavator?)! haha ...this comment was meant for the last *(second)* video but I'm not moving it.

      Thanks for the feedback! I have learned a lot about video editing since I 1st started.... It has been very fun learning new things and making the videos better and better. Thank you for the support and I'm very glad you are enjoying the channel ✌

    Looks great 👍 good job working around the tank buried in the hill. That would have derailed me.

      Thanks man, I have ran into quite a few obstacles in my career.... LOL ✌

      No joke, man. I probably would have made a big step of some kind to cover the cement. The way it was done pretty much hides the fact that it's even there - PLUS - he allowed access to whatevertheheck is underneath!

    Great work! Love how you got over the cement water retention tank too👍

    Speaking of railing …. Are there any codes that dictate when one must add handrails? I should think there would be for public property, but what about at a private residence as in this vlog? Does that very from state to state (or commonwealth to commonwealth)?

    • @TheChristianHardscaper
      @TheChristianHardscaper  9 місяців тому

      So for landscape steps like this, there is a lot of grey area.... But when it comes to steps going to a door to a house, they need railings for anything 4 steps and higher. And I'm sure it varies a little from place to place. ✌

    I've been watching your videos for a few months and you guys definitely do quality work. Benny has come a long way from the first few videos when he barely wanted to be on camera. Keep up the great work! Where are you guys located?

      Nice, thanks for the support and the feedback! Benny does seem to be getting more comfortable on the camera.... We are located in Worcester County (Massachusetts)

    How do you charge for these? Also what are some good tips and tricks to do these correctly, to get the correct amount of steps, correct grade, etc?

    I don’t if anyone ever told you this. When you laugh, you sound a lot like Tobias Jelinek from Hocus Pocus.

    Question... how high are those risers on the back steps? I need to put some in my hillside at 8" risers with 10" treads, it's somewhat steep.

    What would be the total cost of this job

    • @TheChristianHardscaper
      @TheChristianHardscaper  Рік тому

      Just this portion with the natural slab looking steps would cost between $5,500 - $7,000 depending on the situation.

    hello, how do you determine how many steps you need.

      I use straight shooting lasers and measuring tapes to find the height differences

    How do you know deep to dig

    • @TheChristianHardscaper
      @TheChristianHardscaper  Рік тому

      Experience and measuring a handful of times during excavation. I use levels and string lines mainly for the elevation and then a measuring tape to check depth.
