Also I love turtlenecks too! Sometimes people say I look and act like a grandma but I think they are so comfortable! I’m also wearing my first turtleneck of the season today!

In addition, you shouldn’t mix this with sunscreens that contain avobenzone as uncoated zinc can cause it to degrade! I like makeup products that contain spf but since most tinted moisturizers contain mineral spf like titanium dioxide and zinc, and the only chemical UVA filter approved in the US is avobenzone… it’s not a great mix with US chemical sunscreens.
Woo this looks so interesting!! Can you try the RCMA foundation soon? I know you said you would do it at some point but I’m super curious about it. Also you look beautiful as usual! Ily!!!
I bought this and tried it today. So far I’m REALLY impressed. I have tried almost every skin ring out there and this is one so far is amazing. It didn’t melt off my face in the humid climate I live in and that’s great. I have sensitive skin and love how it’s unscented and approved by the National Eczema Association. I used my usual SPF underneath bec this is not enough coverage alone. I highly recommend it if you’re into skin tints.
i’m excited for this review because i’m not a full coverage girl, and i loveeee that this works for sensitive skin and it has sunscreen. i have yet to be disappointed with any of the tower 28 products that i’ve purchased myself. ♥️♥️♥️
I’ve been using all week. Love it for work, especially because I wear a mask for 12 hours and it has not made my skin break out. Have really been loving this product !
Please keep using this tower 28 spf foundation! Maybe apply sunscreen underneath since it’s pretty much just foundation with spf in it and won’t offer enough protection alone so I’d love to see how you use spf underneath, then the spf foundation and maybe even an actual foundation over top
This is an interesting suggestion. I wear a chemical spf, then a tinted sunscreen with specifically iron oxide (which this is) and then I follow up with a tiny bit of foundation or something light (like Fenty Eaze Drops.) This layering of sunscreens is recommended for folks with melasma.
@@tugboatcaptainCC hey! They’ve found that zinc oxide and titanium dioxide can cause avobenzone to degrade (which is the only chemical UVA filter available in the US). @@sue8412 hi thanks for your comment I heard that too but did some research and also heard the same thing from another UA-cam that as long as you let each product dry down first it won’t affect the other sunscreens efficacy
@@sue8412 it also makes me think if that were a bit concern then foundations wouldn’t contain spf but I feel they do add it in some foundations because we are technically supposed to let all products we apply beforehand to dry down and sink in properly before applying so I believe as long as we wait at least 20 mins we should be okay
Tower 28 is quickly becoming one of my top 3 favorite makeup brands. I have yet to try something from them that I haven’t immediately put in my everyday makeup bag! This sunscreen blew me away! I can’t wear chemical sunscreen anywhere near my eyes, but every mineral sunscreen I’d tried was so thick and gross feeling on my skin. Even the tinted versions never blended in all the way and I always looked gray because of my olive skin tone. The first time I tried Tower 28’s tinted sunscreen I almost cried I was so happy!
Day 2 of wearing this and I love it. Was out all day at a theme park and usually get bad face sunburns and got nothing with just this on and setting powder!
Can't wait to hear your thoughts on the RCMA foundation. I am skeptical of Tower 28, as i am with any "clean" brands. So many of them seem to include preservatives on their "bad ingredients" list, which of course is ridiculous (and potentially dangerous) for products that will be applied to the skin/face. I have also seen some comments that various products seem to have gone bad quickly.
Thank you for mentioning the lack of smell! It looks so natural and wore so well! Can you please review the ND Mini Metropolis? I am dying to see that teal green / brown combo on you. Ok it’s not a foundation but just thought I’d throw it out there. 💚
I've loved tower 28 for quite some time now so I'm super excited for this launch!😍 Just disappointed that it's going to be a while before it launches in Canada (though I'm assuming it's because we have more regulations and rules regarding sunscreen products). I love tinted moisturizer products with a sheer/light coverage.
I haven't tried mine yet since it got sent to my house in the U.S and I am currently back home in Iceland but I cannot wait to try out mine!! I have VERY dry skin with pretty mild rosacea and eczema so I'm hoping this will be tailor made for me!
So excited to try this foundation! From all the reviews I've seen lately, it's going to be one I really like. I wish I could wear turtle neck shirts, but they make me feel so claustrophobic, like I can't get a deep breath and start to panic...
I also can't because of claustrophobia but they don't look nice on me anyway because I have biggish boobles. So it ends up either creating a monoboob situation. If you have a long neck they can also make the distance between your face and breasts look much too far and creates an illusion of very droopy girls
Yes, I’d love to see the RCMA! I also happen to have similar shades as you for foundation, so I maaaaay be a little biased. I’ve been eyeing it up since Wayne reviewed it.
Dear Allie, I love your videos. I fallow you since Spain. And although I am older than I learn so many things and tips from you. My skin is dry so could you do a video using creamy products? I will appreciate it.
I can’t wait until it’s in the Canadian Sephora stores!! I’m very excited it’s good for eczema prone skin because I struggle a lot with that! Thanks for reviewing Allie, love you ❤️❤️
It's been sitting in my sephora cart since launch but, I wanted to wait for more reviews before purchasing. I'm a bit disappointed that it didn't cover the redness better, I have really red cheeks from broken capillaries and I love light-med coverage with SPF for daily wear however, if it's not going to even out my redness then I'm a little torn. I'm wondering if it's buildable so, I can add a bit more to my cheeks. I'm surprised you didn't try building? Usually you do. But, thanks for the review, the rest was very helpful and the fact it still looked so fresh after 10 hours has me wanting to purchase it even more! And it being hydrating sounds like a great winter SPF, though I'd most likely still wear a higher SPF underneath, 30 is on the fence for my liking but, I do love that it's mineral sunscreen!
The It Cosmetics Your Skin But Better Foundation is another great option. Either that or their CC cream. Both have good coverage and are extremely gentle on sensitive skin. I get eczema and I use these products and love them and have for the last couple of years.
@@Mar-velousMarlenak8 I use their CC cream as well as their bye bye foundation, I thought the your skin but better didn't contain spf? Wish you’d applied this like an actual sunscreen. Applied as a foundation you’ll never get enough to provide the SPF protection listed on the bottle. I’m so curious what this would look like worn as a sunscreen throughout the day.
This look is gorgeous and exactly what I do for an everyday look! I have the tower28 tinted sunscreen in my cart for the sale so I was happy to see you review it!

Oh man I’m usually the same shade as you or one shade lighter and I got 15 Melrose and haven’t tried it yet so I’m hoping it’s a good match for me since you’re using 10 😩
Ahhh I just saw the Tower 28 tint online today and I got so excited! I've been having some clear skin days, but my skin is still scarred from over the years and have been wanting a little bit of coverage so I'm curious how it would work for me and how it would hold with a face mask since I wear one to work all day. I have super oily skin, so it's promising that you said it didn't get too dewy throughout the day as most tints do that to me too. Thank you for the review!
Allie, I totally agree that this lives up to the hype I’ve seen. I had a special feeling about this product when it released and then found out it met my criteria in a tinted sunscreen, so I ordered as soon as I could! I’m happy to report that for my dry, rosacea-prone skin, I am loving wearing this!! I also keep hearing reassuring, positive feedback from others, which is also more reason to love. I love Tower28 & am all for this new release of their’s!! Looked great on you as well. Love you, Allie❣️❣️ PS-❤️ turtleneck season!! 😉😉
I put this in my Sephora cart this morning. I’m looking around on UA-cam for reviews on it. I hate regular sunscreen, AND I have facial eczema, so I’m super excited about this. I’m hoping you like it! (I’m just starting the video, so haven’t seen your opinion yet.)
I’m going to try it out today and just spot conceal with a hydrating concealer under my eyes maybe the nyx born to glow, milk under eye brightener which is new and gorgeous, the nyx total cover one drip concealer which I found because of you from an old video and i loveee it so much, rose inc concealer, or the new nyx bare with me concealer and the nars soft matte concealer to spot conceal on my face!!! Yes I’ve been shopping lol 😩🤦🏻♀️ colourpop has come out with ANOTHER launch lol it’s called lucky penny and it called my name so I ordered the entire collection haha
The first time I watched Allie she used bronzer as her transition color, I tried to do the same and haven't been back since. I always use my bronzer as my transition color now no matter what eye shadow look I want to do! Thanks Allie, love yaaa ❤️
I love turtlenecks too but don’t get to wear them as much as I used to. We moved from somewhere with 4 true seasons to somewhere with a very short winter. That foundation really suits you and your vibe. Don’t know if Tower 28 is available in Australia
Did you redo your blush? Because it looks really great. I have Tower Beauty Beach Please and I actually stopped using it, bc it seems to wear off on me, after an hour!!!
Hi Allie, Hope you're having a lovely weekend so far 💕! I've never heard of this brand living in the Northern Ireland 🇮🇪. I really liked how this looked on you when you first applied it 😊 and throughout the day still looking good. I get oily in the t-zone area as well and it is good to know when you touched up with powder how fresh it was again. Thank you so much ❤!
Hi there, I live in England and Cult Beauty stock Tower 28 products. They're an online store. I hope that this helps. By the way, you might have to keep checking back with them as it may be a week or 2 for them to get stock. Take care
If you actually want sun protection, please wear spf underneath it. More than likely we don't apply enough of the makeup to actually reach the spf 30. Just watch almost any dermatologist on youtube or Instagram 😃
Hiii sorry I wanted to ask what color are you in the glossier skin tints / stretch concealer? im looking into it but im horrible at color matching myself
Is it bad that I've never even heard of Tower 28? Knowing that this is certified for eczema is really interesting to me since I suffer from it around my eyes. I'm super interested in trying this now. For anyone else who suffers from this I find the it cosmetics your skin but better foundation to be exceptional. It's a skin care base that floats pigments so it's very gentle in your skin and actually helps to improve it over time. It's my ride or die.
@@ceciliagovea thank you! I'll be sure to check it out. I have definitely noticed that setting sprays that have more alcohol in them drives my eczema crazy and I've had to resolve to just using the Caudalie grapewater spray to set my make up lately.
Hoping that people remember to still wear their SPF under this product! Just because it’s a sunscreen doesn’t mean people will use enough to actually protect their skin. 💕
If you use the amount they recommend then you do have the SPF stated though. Just like with normal sunscreens. If you use less than the amount they tested with then you don't get the promised SPF coverage.

I love how you do check ins your the best 🤗
Was wondering about this one … have combo very sensitive skin .. will definitely pick up at upcoming Sephora Rouge sale … thanks for the review and your options!
Thank you for trying this, it looks great. I however cannot stand stickiness so if even after powdered you can feel it sticky it’s a no from me.
Looks so pretty!! Can't wait to try it!
woww i didn’t know that much abt tower 28 as a brand, i wanna try this so bad!
I know the ColourPop Tinted Moisterizer doesn't have SPF, but I'm curious how the two compare.
I saw this and immediately bought it. I've been wanting to try this brand so bad!
Allie can you do a few updated makeup for glasses wearers look? I struggle with makeup with glasses and need some inspiration!
This stuff is right up my ally (errrr.... Allie 😂). Love the no-makeup-makeup look. I'll have to try it! Can't wait for your Sephora sale video! 😍
Thank you for testing this; I was wondering about this tinted sunscreen.
Another great video! I also LOVE turtle necks, if I could and not look crazy during the summer months I would wear them always❤
Thanks for this review. Looking for to trying this tinted moisturizer.
I love tower 28! I discovered it on Sephora!
I am anxious to hear about the RCMA as well!!
Oh man I’m usually the same shade as you or one shade lighter and I got 15 Melrose and haven’t tried it yet so I’m hoping it’s a good match for me since you’re using 10 😩
You should try the new joah foundation. It’s amazing!!!
Looks great! Also that patmcgrath highlight looks DIVINE. How would you say this compares to the Sae tinted moisturizer?
I wanna see your review on the rcma foundation and the Lisa Eldridge seamless foundation 🙌
I'm in a similar boat. 😩 I was excited to try this but I'm not thrilled about having to apply concealer to cover up my hyperpigmentation.
Love you, Allie❣️❣️
PS-❤️ turtleneck season!! 😉😉
Ahhh just from the thumbnail picture I can tell that you’ve enjoyed this product 🤩🤩
Can you test the Lisa Eldridge foundation?? 🙂🙂
I'm dying to see the RCMA foundation review. I love a lot of the same products that you do and we have the same skin and undertones.
This will work for me for sure!!! It’s going on my wish list along with tower 28 lip oils :)
The first time I watched Allie she used bronzer as her transition color, I tried to do the same and haven't been back since. I always use my bronzer as my transition color now no matter what eye shadow look I want to do! Thanks Allie, love yaaa ❤️
Please try the RCMA Foundations
I love turtlenecks too but don’t get to wear them as much as I used to. We moved from somewhere with 4 true seasons to somewhere with a very short winter. That foundation really suits you and your vibe. Don’t know if Tower 28 is available in Australia
Is it your summer there? My nephew and his family are in Sydney since April.
Congrats for 750k !! ❤❤❤❤❤
How does this compare to colorpop tinted moisturizer? Recently discovered that 😍
Did you redo your blush? Because it looks really great. I have Tower Beauty Beach Please and I actually stopped using it, bc it seems to wear off on me, after an hour!!!
Would love to know how this preforms on dry skin the likes to flake and what the relative level of coverage is. It's so hard to tell on camera lol
Take care
@@hazelt9953 Thank you appreciate the information and advice.
If you actually want sun protection, please wear spf underneath it. More than likely we don't apply enough of the makeup to actually reach the spf 30. Just watch almost any dermatologist on youtube or Instagram 😃
If it recommends an amount to use for your face and you use that amount then you get the SPF that's stated. Same with normal sunscreen.
@@julieme7927 nobody uses that much foundation unless they are stuck in 2017 and are doing the hundred layers challenge lol.
JulieMe. Yes, when used properly the tower 28 is all that’s needed , I went to school for this 😀
Do you use a damp sponge when you use after your brush?!
Their S.O.S. spray is also AMAZING, more of a skincare product but really great for eczema prone skin
@@ceciliagovea thank you! I'll be sure to check it out. I have definitely noticed that setting sprays that have more alcohol in them drives my eczema crazy and I've had to resolve to just using the Caudalie grapewater spray to set my make up lately.
IT YSBB is a great foundation. Totally underrated!
I love your videos 😇👍gives me some good options. I've never seen you wear your hair down I bet it looks pretty 😍
Does anyone make foundation for oily skin anymore? 😫 would love to hear your top recs for that!
I was on the fence about getting this foundation during the upcoming VIB sale. We have identical skin, super light, combination, sensitive and a little acne issues so I’m sold!!
Great review 😊
a bones day and an allie upload day 🐶
Hi Allie- hope you are doing well.
The packaging of that Tower 28 sunscreen reminds me of Flower Beauty’s Blush Bombs. 😆 So much!
Can you powder bottoms with the beauty blender?
Ooh are you also going to check out the Joah foundation too?
